Nov 2019We stayed here during our Hawaii vacation. We stayed on multiple condos on multiple islands. This was unfortunately a let down compared to the others. Below is our feedback:
Pros:
1. Wonderful view with awesome sunsets
2. Close to farmers market and fish market
3. Well equipped kitchen, however no local touches. The last VRBOs we stayed on Hawaii we got fresh island coffee or island treats
Cons:
1. Appartement was dirty upon arrival. Had to re-clean the floor and kitchen
2. Guest contact was unfriendly in communication and unhelpful
3. Loud road noises during night
4. Mattress is quite outdated and not comfortable
5. Loud renovation work most of the days
6. Only one beach chair for a 2 people apartment
7. Safe did not have working batteries

Mar 2021We extended our vacation and found this condo last minute. The condo was perfect for our family of 4. The kids loved the pool and shuffleboard court. We watched the whales from the balcony every morning while having our coffee. The condo is very clean, comfortable, and well equiped. We would definitely stay there again. Read more

Jun 2019We couldn’t have asked (or found) a better place to stay in Maui. The condo was immaculate and had everything we needed; the staff was responsive and friendly. The bed was comfortable, the community was quiet, and we always had parking. We woke up and fell asleep to views and sounds of the ocean everyday - what could be better! There was also a great coffee shop and fresh market less than 5 minutes from the condo, which made mornings easy! We’ll definitely be back! Read more

Sep 2019This is a beautiful property, right on the ocean. We really enjoyed the sunsets from our lanai. When we arrived, the weather was hot and humid, which caused white little ants to surface in the unit. So, the only problems we had during our stay were little ants all around the unit and lack of air conditioning. And, I must say that Karla is a superhost. She responded very promptly to our questions and needs. She stopped by to give us more ant baits and other household amenities, which certainly helped during second half of our stay. Feb 2020The view from the apartment is fantastic. We were able to watch whales and sunsets every day. The property is well maintained for the age of the property. The king size bed is comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked; plenty of glasses, plates, etc. The internet tended to go down almost every day but was easy to reboot and connect. The unit does not have air conditioning which would be fine as there is a nice breeze most of the time except for the bedroom is adjacent to the main street so it was considerably noisy (as the windows are right above the bed) and there was a lot of ambient light in the bedroom and the entire unit. The patio doors do not have locks on them and one of them is very difficult to slide open. Read more

Feb 2022The pictures of the unit and it's view were spot on and exactly what we were looking for. Unfortunately we had some issues. The day we checked in we found out that the oven wasn't working. Talked with the owner who indicated that it was supposed to have been fixed but it had not been. Was the owner not telling us the truth or was it who ever should have made the repair that didn't do their job. I suspect I now the truth but can't prove it. Regardless, the owners response was that we could use the outside grills instead. He also said he would look into finding a repairman or replacement as if he expected us to give up part of the vacation time we paid for so we could be there when strangers were going to be in the unit. Additionally, there were 2 times when no hot water was available, the security safe didn't work and the hair dryer handle was so sticky it felt like gripping duct tape.
If it wasn't for these issues we would have given this place a 5 star rating. Read more

Mar 2020The location is great. The complex is very nice, the grounds are very well maintained. The condo itself is a little old and tired. The bed was very uncomfortable, I think it is time for a new mattress or at least a mattress topper. They also need a wine stopper. Not all bottle have screw caps. On the rare occasion we do not finish a bottle of wine it would be nice to put it in the fridge for the next day. If we make our way back to Maui we would stay here again

Great location, clean, all necessary kitchen items, towels, and bathroom items well stocked. The pool was nice, and there is even a grill next to pool you can barbecue on. Aug 2019The condo was clean and the open concept was great. The views from the balcony and even the bed are great. Lots of natural light and a nice ocean breeze on a daily basis. The snorkel and beach gear was an added bonus! Only suggestion is maybe try to stick with a few basic condiments. (Ketchup, mustard,etc). BBQ by the pool was perfect. Laundry facilities were clean and affordable as well (1.50$ per). We will definitely be back when we return to Maui! Read more

May 2019Property has great potential but needs some attention, very old and dated. Mgmt should have warned about the probability of pests if any dish is left in the sink. Seeing roaches really impacted our desire to love this place and made it feel dirty. Great location, luggage cart, deck and fairly well stocked, no corkscrew and no response after requesting one. May 2019Nervous about our first stay outside a hotel, it was amazing. This view is killer and the room was clean with all the amenities we could ever ask for. Loved the snorkeling gear and beach chair available. Makes me want to buy one of these units myself.

We loved the view! And saw lots of whales as we spent most of our time on the patio, we are elderly so we spend more time than most in the unit.
We really felt the unit is in need of a upgrade with painting and new cushions on sofa and chairs very worn. Definitely a new bed there are stains all over the mattress, and the mattress pad was full of stains and had not been washed for a long time. Some of these things can be fixed easily with a little more time and thought in cleaning, which is very important to us and I’m sure lots of other people.
So no we would not rent this unit again, but would look into another unit on this sight which has been updated and cleaner. Read more

Jan 2021Awesome spot for a couple. Condo had some unbelievable views. The complex has everything you need, nice pool, laundry, shuffle board, outdoor grills, etc. to make your stay enjoyable. I had a small issue trying to get the tv to work but the communication and help was seem less and quick. Only issue, the condo WiFi is weak. I was unable to stay connected out on the balcony which is only 20’ from the wireless router. It would’ve been nice to sit out on the balcony to check emails and such but it didn’t diminish my stay at all. I recommend this place to anyone!! Read more
