Located in Albrightsville, this attractive entire house for £479 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Our house (approx. 2000 sq ft) is located in a secure gated community in Albrightsville PA. It has 3 bedrooms (3 bedrooms on 2nd floor), 2 bathrooms, large well equipped kitchen and beautiful and spacious living room with dining area. Each of the bedrooms on 2nd floor has queen size bed and large closet (one of bedrooms on 2nd floor has queen size bed, sleepsofa bed and travel crib available). Bathroom on 2nd floor has bathtub so you can take a quick shower as well as long bubble bath. For extra guests, you'll be charged extra depending how long you stay. Also, the ONE THING to please respect is the hot tub. It is NOT a toy, it is a very expensive piece of equipment that we kindly provide with the home. The hot tub is not meant for taking baths nor putting synthetic objects in there because it will damage it and there will be a lot of fixing that will not be cheap.

There is also big driveway for up to 4 cars.
On 1st floor there is large kitchen equipped with all needed appliances including but not limited to large fridge, electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker. You will find various pots and pans, cups, utensils, pantry with various spices and herbs and much more. You can have a quick snack by kitchen island, or table, or you can choose to have your meal in a living room by large dining table (holding 8-12 people).
On the first floor there is also a room that has a sofa and you can just relax and hang out and it has a soccer table to play with.
In a living room there are 2 large sofas, 47” hd tv, (netflix available), blue ray, landline phone, wifi internet.
There is also laundry with washer and dryer.
There is 2nd bathroom on 1st floor with shower.
Kitchen sliding door open to a beautiful large porch (12 x40 feet) and backyard where you will find large gas bbq grill (no charcoal), fire pit and outdoor pool available on summer months and hot tub to enjoy all year round. Hot tub fits 4 guests at a time.
The community where the house is located has a clubhouse, five lakes, 2 outdoor pools and also a kiddie pool (open starting late June). There are tennis courts and basketball courts as well (all community amenities are available with guest passes-we have 10 of such passes allowed by the community to have for guests). House is located very short walk from one of five lakes.
The house is located close to many attractions among them you can find Camelback ski resort (30 minute drive), Camelbeach water park (30 minute drive), Pocono Raceway (15 minute drive), The Corssings Premium outlets for shoppers (25 minutes away), Shoprite supermarket (15 minute drive) so you can conveniently buy all you need once you arrive

Aug 2021When we arrived we were greeted by 4 dear on our front lawn! They came back every morning and early evening. The house had plenty of room for the 6 of us. Even the couches easily accommodated us all for movie night. Pool wasn’t very big, but we enjoyed it and the hot tub. We would recommend this house it was relaxing and roomy for big groups. Aug 2020We were at the property for almost two months in June/July 2020 with our 7 year old twins. Overall the stay was outstanding - Jadwiga and Andrew were super responsive and accommodating.
Some highlights:
We spent a lot of time in the backyard and deck - it is big, flat and lots of fun for kids. Kids had a lot of fun at the pool and fire pit. While we were there Andrew actually built a brand new pit and even replaced the BBQ grill which were both aging. The mini basketball hoop on the driveway was super fun for the kids.
The community is very peaceful - beautiful lake / beach, tennis courts and community pool. The community pool and the backyard pool were a bit cold but wasn't bad when it was really hot. The lake's temperature was perfect.
We cooked a lot and the kitchen is super stacked - it had everything you needed from a generous amount of plates, cups, pizza cutter, ice cream scoops, pots, pans, silverware, strainer - felt like everything we needed was there.
The projector was really nice for the family to sit back, relax and watch movies. It has Roku built in. Note you may want to bring a longer 3.5mm aux cable to attach the sound to an external speaker as the speaker from the projector was not too loud.
Given the long term stay Andrew / Jadwiga provided two cleanings during our stay which was appreciated. The cleaning service did a great job keeping the place tidy and replaced all linens from beds.
Things that could be a bit better
The second shower (downstairs) is definitely a bit tight. We are pretty small - I am 5'6" and it was very tight for me so just be aware of that.
There are definitely more bugs / pests around the area given the location (close to lake, trees in backyard) - be sure to bring bug spray. There was an issue with some of the pests getting inside the house I believe from the deck but Andrew came over quickly and sprayed the deck / house and there were no issues after that.
Given COVID I believe they are not handing out temporary passes to get into the gated community from outside - hence you must wait in line in your car at the gate to get inside. Not a huge deal but sometimes the wait could take up to 10 minutes.

Feb 2022We loved it! The house had everything we needed for our long weekend. With one teenager and two kids and friends we had plenty of room for everyone! The backyard is huge with a beautiful deck, pool and jacuzzi and fire pit. Everything is extremely clean. The owners were so easy to deal with, gave us no problems and a lot of privacy. Aug 2021This is our 6th VRBO rental so we have a fair bit of experience. House was immaculate and host was extremely responsive. Plenty of beds. Pool and hot tub were wonderful and clean. Short walk to the lake for fishing. My suggestions for improvement would be to have measuring cups and spoons and a can opener in the kitchen (if these were available we never found them) and more large microwaveable serving size bowls. We also didn’t find any top sheets for the bed so sleeping without the air conditioning was tricky but we managed. Some board games would be a welcome addition. Internet was fast. Aug 2020Our Family Stayed at Jadwiga's Home for Our Summer Family Vacation. Everything was Very Clean and Beautifuly Decor. Plenty of Linens and Towels were Provided, which was a plus. We Enjoy the Pool and Hottub. The Grill was perfect for the BBQ days, and the fire pit for roasting marshmallows. We were greeted by a couple of Deers. There was more than plenty of space for the entire Family. Jadwiga was very attentive to our questions. We loved the Big Projector in the Living room for Movie nights. Everything was Beautiful! Jul 2021Our family had a great time at this house. It looks exactly like the photos, was super clean (our 9 month old was crawling around on the floor, it was spotless!) and was just so much fun. The pool in the backyard was perfect for our family of 4. The hot tub was awesome. The kitchen was great. The deck was incredible. We would totally come back another time! We recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a beautiful, relaxing getaway. We saw tons of dear!!! Very cool. We shopped for groceries at the local ShopRite, and re: actives we Went paddle boating on lake harmony (about 25 min away) and rented a motor boat on Lake Wala something (about an hour away). Just wished we got around to trying the firepit. House itself was cleaned but there were a few spiders and bugs around that couldn't be helped.

Nov 2020I stayed in this place with my friends for 2 nights from Nov 6th-8th and we had such a great time, the house is very clean and renovated and it has a big backyard with a hot tub, fire pit, tree swing, etc. Our communication with the owner was very good and they addressed all of their concerns quickly. my overall rating is 4/5 for three reasons: in the morning the bathroom water was a little cold, the propane cylinders for bbq were not full and the toilet downstairs was clogged on the last day. I think these issues are minors and they can be solved quickly in the future. I highly recommend this place. Read more

Aug 2020Beautiful home. Their was a nest of wasp in the panel of the house in front. Its up in the mountains. No service only working on wifi service. When we got to property there was lots of garbage and recycled items that was visible but when I spoke with owner she did have it removed. We chose this house for the pool. With COVID we wanted piece of mind away from ppl but it 10 to 15 degrees colder. After being there and running around on the last day I wanted to just relax and enjoy the house. Well the projector which was beautiful went into safe mode on the 16th of August late night. I called the owner around 8ish the next morning letting her her know
what was happening. All we needed was a passcode to unlock the remote. After responding to me twice she then ignored all communications from me. I sent her information with easy reset pw via email. We tried the passwords she did provide that did not work. I pleaded for help and I was ignored completely. Around 10pm on the 17th my oldest son took the time out and googled it he was successful and unlocked the tv. He saw my frustration. I texted the owner telling her my son fixed it and I told her being that we we're renting from her she should have been more of assistance and being ignored do not feel good. She even ignored that text. Renting from Vrbo for over 10+ years. This is my 1st negative experience. Hopefully all renters after me with be treated better if they choose to rent here.
