Peace 'n Paradise, located at 5405 B Gulf Drive in Holmes Beach is a comfortable two bedroom, two bath duplex with a private heated pool and spa. Peace 'n Paradise will sleep six with a king size bed, two XL twins and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room with an upgraded mattress. It's exactly what you are looking for in a peaceful Anna Maria Island retreat. Located 300 yards down a side street from the emerald water of the Gulf of Mexico and the soft sugar sand beach.
This unit has been redone in a very cute and beachy style, you will instantly feel at ease in this property, whether you are hanging out by the pool or strolling to the beach. The living room has a 55" flat screen TV and DVD player and both bedrooms have 32" flat screen TV. Shopping, restaurants and the library are close and convenient. There is a heated pool and spa surrounded by lush, island landscaping and a wonderful nook perfect for reading or snoozing. After a day at the beach, BBQ in the evenings on the gas grill at poolside.
You will find a shed that has two beach chairs, two lounge chairs, a beach umbrella and a soft side cooler. All will easily fit into the provided beach cart. You will also find more than ample space for the allowed two cars with one under the car port and the other on the driveway.
Peace 'n Paradise is a one week minimum rental.

Dec 2020We loved our week here! The house was perfect for us - 2 teenage boys and 2 adults. It is small but we knew that going in. It was very comfortable and clean and it was in a great location just steps from the beach. The only, very slight, downside to the location is that it was about 2 miles from the northern end of the island which held more restaurants, shops. We did walk there one morning for donuts and biked down another day though so it certainly isn't the end of the world. The beach across the street is beautiful and seemed to be the quietest part of the beach which was fantastic! Especially during COVID.
The pool area was beautiful. A great spot to go relax, eat or swim. Wish the spa had been a hot tub (I didn't realize the difference when reading the listing) but both were clean and warm.
One thing to note, they really only do give a starter pack of basics. Best to bring some TP, paper towels dish detergent, hand soap, ect. Also, while the kitchen is well-equipped with utensils, pots and pans, even sharp knives there are no food basics ( s+p, olive oil ect.).

Mar 2022This house was perfect for my husband, my in-laws and me. The indoor space has ample room for four. The showers were a nice size and fantastic water pressure. The washer/dryer set was very quiet! The kitchen had plenty of dishes, cutlery, and was just right for prepping meals.
The outdoor space was fantastic! The pool and hot tub were perfect after a day at the beach, the covered living room was a great place to watch college basketball, and the putting green was a great for some laughs. There was a beach wagon, four beach chairs in great condition, an umbrella, pails and shovels for the beach- no need to rent them. There were inflatables and pool noodles for the pool. Again, as with all things in this rental, the tables, chairs and loungers around the pool are in great condition. The Adirondack chairs facing the putting green are very nice.
The house is a very short walk to the beach- not a crowded section. It is also a very short walk (980 steps) to the fresh seafood market, shops, and restaurants.
We have rented several places on and near Anna Maria, and this one had so many items in the “just right” category. I am glad we found this one! Sadly, it is already booked for our Spring Break week next year! Read more

This is our second year at peace and paradise and it did not disappoint yet again!! They have added an adorable outside covered patio with new couches, a TV, lights and a fan! It was perfect to escape the heat and have a drink or lunch. They also have a 3 hole putt-putt area near the pool. My two boys ages 8 and 9 loved this and made up many fun games to keep them occupied! <br/><br/>We are Florida natives so we are used to dealing with mosquitos. We brought our Thermacell in preparation for the mosquito party that occurs on hot Florida nights, but we were still swarmed. My only suggestion is to install a bug zapper or have more citronella candles available. <br/><br/>The inside was decorated nicely, the place was very clean. The kitchen well stocked. The ac works like a champ, Internet is fast and there is a TV in every room. <br/><br/>You can’t beat the short walk to the beach from this house. The location is everything.
