Sep 2018We rented Maria's place for two nights. All I have to say is that my kids did not want to leave.....EVER! They loved that it was surrounded by nature, the water is right there, clean and loaded with fish. We went fishing from the dock and caught an average of 8 fish a day per kid! Catch and release though but the experience of them getting a bite is priceless. We also went row boating and kayaking and diving from the floating platform in the middle of the lake. We love this place. Off-grid with mobile service so its not like you are totally disconnected from reality. You can still update your Instagram and FB in real time! :) We would definitely come back..... Read more

Aug 2016We rented Lawrence's family's lake house for 4 days . All four days we had a really good time . The lake is beautiful! Great fishing. House was neat, and well kept . The only thing I would recommend for the home owners to get is a floatable dock, and maybe some kayaks?.
Other than that if you want to escape into the nature from a busy lifestyle, this place is perfect to stay at . I would deff rent it again.

Jul 2021We enjoyed our stay here, it was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed watching bald eagles and great blue heron fly around the lake. There was quite a bit of seaweed in the beach area but once we spent some time clearing it out, the water was beautiful and refreshing. One warning, the path/road that leads to the house was a little treacherous with dips and divots from recent rain. If you drive a low sitting car, you’ll want to be very careful so you don’t bottom out. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay, and the host Maria was very helpful and answered my hundreds of questions very promptly. Read more

Jun 2018We enjoyed our stay at the lake house. We were there from Texas for our son to play baseball in Cooperstown. It was about a 45 minute drive to the Dreams Park. The lake was beautiful. The inside of the house could have been a little more up to date for our standards, and the beds were uncomfortable. But overall it was a clean, relaxing place and had plenty of room. We were a little worried because there's no air conditioning, but that wasn't a problem after all. We just opened up the windows and there was a great breeze throughout the house. Our oldest son enjoyed the fishing and kayaking. And the deck overlooking the lake was a nice place to enjoy the sunset. We also had the privilege of seeing some large turtles come up on the beach area in the gravel and up into the yard while it was raining. One drawback was that we also saw 2 snakes. One in the rocks around the fire pit and one was laying up on the rock wall border by the lakes edge. Read more

Jul 2021This property was the perfect escape for a relaxing vacation. The house was kept very nicely and there was plenty of room for all of us. It’s location on the lake was phenomenal, as were the views. Whether you like to just sit and enjoy the beauty of this country setting or get out and enjoy it by swimming, boating or fishing, it is absolutely perfect. This peaceful spot is a great jumping off point for day trips to local caverns or the Baseball Hall of Fame too. We’ll definitely be coming back! Read more

Aug 2018This cottage was a great choice for a summer vacation with our friends. It is set up perfectly with a full bath and two comfortable bedrooms on each floor! The kitchen is equipped with pots and pans, a dishwasher, and (of course) a stove and refrigerator. There is a charcoal grill outside and two large picnic tables.
The cottage is on a big piece of property on a small quiet lake. We brought our own kayaks, but there are two kayaks available as well as two rowboats. Caught fish from the dock and kayaked around the lake and caught many more bass and pike!!
It was a very pleasant place to stay!! There are a lot of deer and turkeys; we saw a bald eagle, a Baltimore oriole, and kingfishers.
Although the cottage is in a very remote location, it is only a 15-minute drive from the town of Stamford where you can find a couple good restaurants, ice cream, and a grocery store. Thirty minutes in the other direction is a WalMart (for your fishing license). It is a 45-minute drive from Cooperstown, and there are a couple nice golf courses not far away as well.
We are happy to have found this property and would love to stay here again!!

Oct 2018I just got back from my 5th year visiting the Lakehouse on Titus Lake. The property is absolutely gorgeous, (as well as huge!) and really gives you the feeling of "getting away from it all". The foliage in October is fabulous, and there's so much wildlife to see that we never experience in the suburbs - a bald eagle, a snake, even a porcupine! There are kayaks and rowboats to take out on the lake for fishing, and a great fire pit right next to the lake. The owners live close enough that they're able to address any problems ASAP if they were to arise, but also will completely leave you alone 100% Read more
