Comfortable and well located make for a perfect vacation
Wow - this is truly a gem in Ogunquit. The central location means everything is walkable if you want to leave your car parked. The home was comfortable and well kept - there was plenty of space both inside and outside. I was a bit sad I didn't get to meet Jennifer in person so I could thank her as she is definitely someone who cares about her rental properties - we were provided with everything necessary to ensure a great vacation. Read more

Lovely home in beautiful location
We stayed from the middle of Oct to Nov, so the beautiful Autum season and with Halloween spirit in the air. We were 3 adults and 2 children who were visiting family who lived in Elliot. The house was perfect for our needs and the boys loved it. It was very clean, beds were comfy, just squeaked a little. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked a few times. We also enjoyed the fire pit outside and made smores with the boys and the extended family, which they loved. We managed to fit our extended family in no problems into the house too which was lovely. Ogunquit is a lovely quaint town with the most beautiful beach. At the weekends it got busy with tourists but this was lovely and one weekend there was a car show with vintage American cars and a craft fair which we all thoroughly enjoyed. The town has lots of nice places to eat, we didn't eat out that much, 2 young children in eateries is not always the most relaxing experience. But the locals were very friendly and the food delicious. We were a little out of the season so some attractions were closed, but in season I can imagine it would be even more fun. For those visiting the area we enjoyed Portsmouth, it's a lovely town and we went to the Halloween festival which was brilliant if a bit scary. Kittery has the outlet shops and the trading post which has everythjng you need for outdoor adventures under one roof. We went to Portland and did lobster fishing with the Lucky catch cruise which the boys loved ( there is a local company but they had closed for the season) and went to LL Bean in Freeport which is huge! We also went to see some local wildlife at main wildlife park which was real value for money. The area is lovely and next time we would like to head north a bit more. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Although we kept missing Jennifer she was quick to respond to any questions we had. The only little thing would be payment. As an international visitor cheque payment doesn't really work, we were lucky we had family there who we sent the money too and they sent a cheque. A PayPal account would be super helpful. We look forward to returning in the future! Read more

perfect in every way
We had a wonderful week in this quaint historic cottage. The inside was quite spacious for 4 people and we were very happy being able to leave our car parked and walk everywhere. The house is charmingly furnished and very clean. Jennifer was very lovely to deal with and it is evident that she loves her home and takes great pride in keeping it immaculate. We hope very much to return next summer! Read more

Long October weekend
We had an amazing time in Ogunquit. Such a perfect location - close to downtown and the beach. The house was perfect size - 3 good size bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Everything was clean and as indicated in the pictures, no surprises. We had such a great time walking around and enjoying the town but during the off weather, as there were some rainy periods, we were able to enjoy ourselves at the house given it's good size. Jennifer was always quick to respond to any inquiries we might have had. My husband and I would definitely recommend the house to others and would also want to try and go back ourselves - and as our daughter stated "I like vacation house!" Read more

Great location & lovely house
We had a great time at this beautiful old and renovated house right in the middle of town. It has charming old floor boards and three (not for use) fireplaces. It was a comfort to hear from the property manager that they follow Maine Certified Safe guidelines for cleanliness. While at the start we did not have the correct phone number to text the property manager she did respond promptly to our questions once we reached her and assisted us with the correct Wifi password (which had been in correctly noted in the house). Yes! Ww would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to others. Read more
