DESCRIPTION
Attention to detail describes this beautiful new home on one of the nicest beach side courts in Mission Beach. Built in 2011, this three story, 1430 square foot quintessential Cape Cod style home is the perfect get-away for a family (for up to 6 people plus baby that can sleep in crib/pack n play) or a small group of mature friends (up to 4 people). These numbers include any potential day visitors. We do not differentiate between overnight guests and visitors.
The owners were inspired by the famous movie house from “something's got to give” and wanted the decor of their house to have that easy sophistication, comfort and east coast feel. From the wainscoting, soft hues of paint, built-in bookcases, brand new cozy furniture and accessories, every item was selected to create a lovely space.

Each level of the house offers brand new furniture, bedding & bathrooms as well as finest appliances.
1st LEVEL
The first level of the house features a wonderful brick patio with dining table for 4 people, a gas fire pit and gas grill. You enter through an adorable dutch door into a family room with a brand-new queen Murphy bed. This floor also has a flat screen TV and DVD, full bath, ceiling fan, and attached two-car garage with a washer and dryer. This floor is perfect for a couple that desire their own space or is a great extra hangout space for the kids. Please note this room does not have a door.
2nd LEVEL
The main living space is on the second level. The large living/dining room is great for TV watching, family time, reading in the comfy chair by the fireplace or relaxing under the cool ceiling fan on a warm summer evening.
The large dreamy gourmet kitchen is attached so it's easy to visit with your guests while you are creating your favorite meal or blending margaritas. It is huge, accommodating and stocked with everything a cook would ever need. The dining table seats six and there is seating for three at the big breakfast bar.
You'll be very comfortable in the main bedroom on this level with a new queen bed with great linens, a huge closet, ceiling fan and flat screen TV. The bathroom has a huge jacuzzi tub/shower and fantastic lighting so you look your best.
3rd LEVEL
Upstairs on the third level, there is an adorable bedroom with small balcony and crank open dormer windows. You can see the waves from the balcony and the window. The room offers a King bed and has a ceiling fan. There is nothing better than sleeping with the windows open, under the fan on a warm summer's evening. This room also has a flat screen TV or if you're inspired, a desk to journal about your trip. The third floor has a large bathroom with shower and an attached deck on the back of the house to do some private sun bathing or catch a moment of quiet. You can also see a glimpse of the bay while relaxing.
AMENITIES
Enjoy the luxury of TV's in all bedrooms, high-speed WiFi, ceiling fans, central heating, hairdryer in each bathroom, iron and iron board.
The house offers everything you might possibly need, including supplies such as laundry, hand, dishwasher and dish soap, toilet paper, paper rolls and of course all fresh and spotless clean linens and bath towels.
KIDS AND BEACH EQUIPMENT
To make your stay even more enjoyable, we have provided lots of kid's equipment such as high chair, crib, pack n play, changing pad, baby tub, step stool, and potty. For beach fun you can find nice beach towels, beach chairs and boogie boards.
GARAGE
The garage offers a nice washer and dryer and fits a mid size SUV and a mid size economy car.
You will love everything about this meticulous decorated home with it's beautiful touches, beautiful outside patio, relaxing surroundings and warm ocean breezes. Enjoy!
PLEASE NOTE
For "friend"/"adult only" groups we can agree to 4 people max and all must be over 35 years old. We absolutely do not want to rent to anyone that is intending to party at the house.
We have a NO smoking and NO pet policy. Due to suffering from severe allergies, we would very much appreciate if people that plan to bring a service pet try to find a place that is pet friendly (please!).
Kindly understand that at rare occasions we might not be able to move forward if a time frame requested does not fit well in our calendar. In this instance we will ask you to shift your dates or offer you alternatives if available.
BOOKING PROCESS
Once we received your request to book, we will email you a rental agreement for an electronic signature. Once it has been filled out/signed by you and agreed to by us, we will then charge your credit card and confirm your booking. No money will be held or charged from us until you signed the rental agreement.

Jun 2018What a great place to stay! The most important and impressive aspect for us was the cleanliness! When we got there the house was immaculate. Some rentals, you get that....ick.....feeling. Not here! Kudos to the cleaning crew!!!
This home was extremely well thought out when designed and decorated. The layout consists of basically 3 separate living area, so everyone can have their privacy. Our 14 yr old daughter and her friend got the downstairs, my sister in law got the main floor bed/bath, and my wife and I got the upstairs. Everyone had their own bathrom and private space.
The kitchen was fantastic! Open to the living area so you could be preparing meals and still be in on the conversations. The cabinets in the kitchen as well as the bathrooms were very nice. Lots of storage all over the unit. The furniture was comfy and the large TV was great to have.
The sole complaint was the volume on the upstairs tv didn't work, making that tv pretty much unwatchable but other than bedtime, we weren't really watching it anyway.
Can't wait to come back next year! We've already decidded that we won't even be looking elsewhere, just checking availability for this place. Read more

The house had everything to offer that we could wish for for our family (2 adults and 2 kids (2 and 4,5 years old)): large rooms, nice kitchen, great living room, several bath rooms, a roof deck and a patio with bbq. The great variety of beach toys and body boards made it super easy with the kids. On top of that the location couldn’t be better; only a very short walk to both the bay and the pacific beach and very near to nice coffee bars and restaurants. Apr 2015This house was amazing! Everything matched the pictures and the ad. No glitches. The house was beautiful, modern, very, very clean and comfortable. It had everything! Fully loaded kitchen, blender, coffee maker, large refrigerator, etc. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the patio in the morning or on the roof top deck. We were able to grill our own food on the gas BBQ out front, while enjoying the gas fire pit, as well. It's on the cutest little row of houses less than a block from both Pacific Beach and Mission Bay Beach. Walking distance to Ralph's grocery store where you can stock up on anything you might need. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. We were withing walking distance of a bicycle rental shop and a motor scooter rental shop. We did both and had a great time! There are rental shops along Mission Bay that have just about every water sport imaginable within a very short walking distance. The house has a 2-car garage. Our Toyota RAV-4 fit nicely. You could probably fit a car that is a foot longer than that. 2 smaller cars could probably fit side-by-side if you have expert parking skills to turn in from the alley. The house is only 10 minutes or so from downtown San Diego. We enjoyed Balboa Park, Old Town, and a variety of scenic drives without having to drive very far at all. The house has 3 floors of living space, each with their own bathroom, making it great for everyone to have their own space. We used the hide-a-bed couch on the first floor as a bedroom, and it worked out fine, other than people have to walk through that room to get into the house from the garage or front. There's a lovely queen bedroom on the main/middle floor and the bedroom on the top floor was super comfy and can be set up as a king or 2 twin beds. I can't say enough positive things about this place. The owners of this home have thought of every detail to make it a warm, relaxing vacation home! Pacific Beach is our favorite vacation spot and this house is definitely top notch! Read more

The location can't be beat. The little street is so adorable and steps to the beach where you can watch the sunset, walk the boardwalk, with access to tons of restaurants, grocery stores, bike rentals, all walking distance. Having a grill and fireplace outside was so nice, as were the friendly neighbors. The house is just so cute and comfortable, we keep saying how we will absolutely be booking it again in the future. So nice to have just a pedestrian walk in front of the house so you don't feel the traffic of the main street. Three levels gave everyone plenty of space and privacy. Very clean and decorated with a perfect beachy feel. Photos are very accurate. Great to have amenities like beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, etc. Fire pit, grill, and dining on the front patio are a bonus at the end of the day.
