Situated in Noraville, this attractive entire house for £395 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Overlooking Hargraves Beach, the Deckhouse offers a spacious, relaxed beach house with four bedrooms to comfortably sleep 8. Beach access is directly opposite the house; less than a 25 metre walk.
The house is located at Hargraves Beach, Noraville on the NSW Central Coast, just over an hours drive north of Sydney via the M1 Pacific Motorway. Hargraves Beach is on the coast between Norah Head and Budgewoi.
The house features a 12m wide, partially covered timber deck facing the ocean with outdoor setting for 8, two sun lounges and gas-fired barbecue. A swing, slide and cubby-house in the gated front garden suit younger children.

LIVING & DINING ROOM
The main living floor is on the first floor leading out to the deck. The living area has two sofas, armchair and 48" HDTV with chromecast. The dining area has a large table and eight chairs. A wood burning stove and reverse cycle air-conditioning ensure comfort at all times of year.
KITCHEN
Kitchen facilities include cooktop, oven, grill, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and ample crockery and utensils.
DECKS
From the large, elevated, east facing deck there is an extensive view towards the ocean. The deck is partly covered and, because it's protected from the southerly winds, can be enjoyed all year round. The open portion of the deck is ideal for sun baking. A small rear deck accessed from the kitchen offers a second intimate outdoor area.
4 BEDROOMS & 2 BATHROOMS (no linen provided)
On the first floor there are two double bedrooms with queen size beds (one overlooking the ocean), one bedroom with two bunk beds and a bathroom with bath and shower.
The ground floor has one bedroom with a queen size bed, together with a bathroom (with shower only) and fully equipped laundry.
All bedrooms have large built-in cupboards.
BEDDING CONFIGURATION:
- Bedroom 1 (first floor): one queen-size bed
- Bedroom 2 (first floor): one queen-size bed
- Bedroom 3 (first floor): two single beds (bunk beds)
- Bedroom 4 (ground floor): one queen-size bed
We do not have a cot at the house, however, there is a local company that you can hire one from. They will deliver and collect the cot from the house. If you'd like to hire a cot, please contact me for their details.
LINEN IS NOT PROVIDED
We do not provide linen. Guests must bring their own sheets, pillowcases, towels (bath and beach), bath mats and tea towels. Alternatively, linen and towel hire can be arranged - please contact me for details. Duvets, blankets and pillows are provided.

LOCAL ACTIVITIES & FACILITIES:
BEACHES
Beach access is directly opposite the house leading to a sheltered, family-friendly beach. Hargraves Beach is protected by a reef creating calm conditions, ideal for children. There are also patrolled surf beaches a short distance away at Lakes Beach and Soldiers Beach. Nearby Cabbage Tree Harbour has a tidal rock pool and small sheltered beach suitable for young children.
LAKES
Lake Macquarie, Budgewoi Lake & Tuggerah Lake are nearby and are ideal for water sports and fishing. There are also cycle and walking paths along sections of these lakes
FISHING
Hargraves Beach is popular for beach fishing year round and the large rock platform below Norah Head lighthouse is also a popular spot for fisherman. Cabbage Tree Harbour has a boat ramp for access to the ocean and there are boat ramps to the lakes; the closest being to Budgewoi Lake from Slade Park on the southern side of Budgewoi Bridge.

A large range of local shops (including Coles and Aldi supermarkets) are five minutes drive away at Toukley and Budgewoi. The Toukley markets are on each Sunday.
Both Toukley and Budgewoi have a variety of restaurants, cafes and clubs.

Nov 2017We stayed at the property with 3 kids and enjoyed every minute. The house is well equipped with everything you need & the little touches like hand soap, and tea/coffee in the pantry were a nice bonus. Our children loved playing with the Lego provided and the cubby in the front garden.

Jan 2021Well appointed, clean and spacious property. The views were wonderful from the main living area on the second floor, just across the road from the beach with the beach access directly in front.
It was sweltering conditions for the time we stayed and the house had a great sea breeze to keep the house cool as well as air conditioning in the main upstairs living area. The only room it struggled to reach was the master bedroom which remained hot.
The location is fantastic with many beaches and lakes to visit. You could easily spend several weeks exploring the area.
There is a snooker table and darts which kept the boys entertained.

The kids thoroughly enjoyed the play area outside, the toys provided and the beach directly accross the road. The neighbours were quiet and friendly. The shed/games room was great. May 2021We had such a lovely stay here and really enjoyed the balcony. It was great to be able to keep an eye on the kids while they enjoyed the play equipment and it was reassuring that there was a gate so we didn’t have to worry about them going onto the road.
It’s a great location and Jane was incredibly helpful, arranging a high chair and baby gate for us.

Jul 2016We had a lovely holiday at the Ocean View Deckhouse. The house is beautifully located close to beaches with great views from the deck. It is very well furnished and the kitchen has a good range of crockery / cutlery etc. Even though rainy for a few days, the log fire and games room kept us cosy and our children occupied.
Jane was extremely responsive and went above and beyond to provide information and answer any questions. Even in July, we enjoyed a lovely break. Great value for money! Read more

Oct 2019The perfect location with a view I couldn’t get enough of. The deck was spacious and perfect for the little ones running around us while we were having our morning coffee and enjoying the ocean views. WE EVEN SAW SOME WHALES!!
The house was very clean and well kept with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. Everything was comfortable and practical.
The kids loved the playground in the front yard and we all enjoyed the beach outings right across the road! Shops, cafes and a lighthouse track all close by.

Oct 2018The location opposite the beach was great and the view from the deck was stunning - even seeing a passing whale one afternoon. The kitchen was well equipped and we also made use of the bbq on the deck. The home was sparklingly clean for our toddlers to crawl around safely with a secure gate at the top of the stairs installed for our stay and a guard around the combustion heater which we also used one chilly afternoon. It is a short drive to the local sites, cafes, restaurants, walks and supermarkets. Would definitely stay again - a short drive from Sydney - that can be enjoyed any time of the year. Read more

The property was perfect for our kids, they loved the balcony to play on, swinging on the play equipment out the front and the literal walk-across the street beach access. The house is well located, so it was only a short drive to the shops and other places like the rock pool and lighthouse at Norah Head and Soldiers Beach. Great eateries just 5 minutes away at Budgewoi too.
House was clean, bathrooms modern and the kitchen had everything we needed.
