A wonderful week in a perfect house!
We had a peaceful, relaxing week at the house, which was comfortable and cozy (while still having plenty of space). My son loved sleeping in the loft - all the beds were very comfortable - and the adults enjoyed drinking coffee in the sun room. We hope to come back! Read more

Maine get away
We especially enjoyed the outside screened in area which helped protect us from mosquitos and allowed us to view the mudflats. The house was nice and roomy and it was great to have 2 bathrooms. the house was well stocked with just about everything you could need! Katie quickly responded to all of my contacts. A couple of suggestions: door by driveway somewhat difficult to open door off of kitchen needs to be greased-very squeaky coaster for tables Also-let people know that sign for house is on tree and that road is a dirt road and by the bridge. I drove by the road because i didn't see the house number sign. 1 or 2 box fans would be useful. I brought my own and my niece used it in the loft. Read more

Fabulous for a family vacation
We are really enjoyed our trip. The supplies provided (linens, paper goods, kitchen ware, and park pass) were really appreciated. The house is very clean and the furnishings are comfortable. The views are wonderful and we even saw a couple deer while drinking our morning coffee. Read more

Wonderful secluded and spacious home in the woods!
We all (two families, including three kids under 6) had a great week in your home!! We loved feeling away from everything while also having easy access to so much. Highlights for us were hiking on the trails of the bird sanctuary located right out back, collecting acorns, attending children's story time at the local library a short walk away, driving to Five Islands and spending a day at the unbelievable Boothbay Botanical Gardens. The home was perfect for young and less young, with space and accommodations for us to cook all meals and spend time together and apart. We also all slept SOUNDLY. Thank you very much for the chance to stay here. We look forward to returning!! Read more

We love this house!
This was our second year in a row staying at the house. We were not planning to come to Maine this summer, but given the craziness of this year and the difficulty/impossibility of traveling outside the country, we were extra grateful that the house was available again. It is so comfortable, and well-located, and Katie is a wonderful manager. Hope to come back! Read more

Relaxing!
This place has it all! The house was furnished very comfortably inside. There is plenty of room with three separate areas to gather with family and friends. The place was immaculate both inside and out. The kitchen has all the amenities. The Adirondack chairs outside provides comfort while watching the wildlife. The location couldn't be better. Just a few minutes to get off the island and on to our destinations; dining in Bath, a short drive to Boothbay Harbor, shopping in Camden, L.L. Bean, and the outlets in Freeport! We went to Reid State Park which has an awesome beach. (By the way, the Georgetown General Store two minutes away has great prices on fresh lobster and lobster rolls). The house is very secluded because the back yard is the Audubon Bird Sanctuary and front is water inlet for privacy. If you need a place to get away from it all this is it. The owners were awesome to deal with and quickly responded to our questions. It is obvious they take great pride in the property and value their guests. You won’t be disappointed. We had an awesome stay I can't wait to come back.  Read more
