Apr 2021We we're a family group of 6 adults and we we're all very taken back with this house. The house was very well presented and clean. There was everything in the house you needed from kitchen appliances, bedding etc. To keep you entertained there were table tennis, soccer table, darts, books to read and boardgames. We would love to stay at the house in the near future. Highly recommend this house. Read more

Dec 2020We had a fabulous stay at Main Break, our son was married across the road at Bina Maya, so location was perfect. We had 10 family members stay aging from 18 years to 80. The different wings in the house made it an easy stay for everyone. Privacy for the oldies and the main kitchen/family area was perfect for us all to come together. The only thing I would change, would be putting small vanities in the bathrooms. The pedestal basins gave us women nowhere to put our makeup/curling irons etc. House was immaculate, with everything you would need in a kitchen/pantry. Pool was beautiful and spa was a wonderful extra to relax in overlooking the bush. So many good things to say about this property. We would definitely stay here again. Read more

Oct 2008Three families had a wonderful time here. The house is amazing, everything you need is available and it is so comfortable, you just need to take your clothes and be ready for a great experience. We would look out at the kangaroos of an evening and early morning, just fantastic. I can't say enough great things about the place. Looking forward to a return trip. Read more

Dec 2020This property was just right for three couples, a single male, a child and a baby. However there is a mould problem that really set off allergies in one of the couple's bedrooms and they had to change to a bunk bed room. I contacted the manager straight away and they said the mould was treated two weeks prior and offered to come to the rescue with Oil of Clove. Sorry, but clove oil does not de-activate mould. Mould is almost impossible to de-activate. It takes heavy-duty chemicals to kill it. Then we noticed an awful smell in the laundry. Our daughter opened the laundry trough cupboard and was bowled over by the mould. Cape Executive, this is a health hazard. Please take this seriously and treat the problem properly. Read more

Jan 2022The house is well setup for relaxing indoors and outdoors, with multiple activity spaces that are nicely furnished and equipped (books, board games, TVs, iPod docks, etc). The layout of the house is particularly well suited for two families as there are two main bedroom/activity wings with the kitchen/living area in the middle. Uploading a floor plan to the image gallery would be really useful. Bedrooms are not airconditioned and do get warm in summer. Some bedrooms do not have blockout blinds and let in significant amounts of daylight. General maintenance could be improved - eg. gaps in timber balustrading, light in carport not working, etc. Mobile data coverage on the property is patchy (1 bar on Telstra) which is noteworthy in the event of emergencies - we stayed there during the Eagle Bay bushfires. There is no internet/wifi, which would be a huge benefit from a safety perspective and also in terms of enjoying the region - researching nearby businesses and making holiday plans, etc. Swimming pool is great, but the hot tub is cumbersome to figure out and operate - requiring walking underneath the house and turning it on/off each time. Two small fridges are provided, but one isn't cold at all. Water supply is from the rainwater tank, without any apparent filtration or disinfectant, so may require boiling if that is of concern. Laundry is well equipped and it was handy to have the washing machine and dryer available. Read more

Apr 2022Loved our stay here over Easter with 2 other couples and kids. Kids would swim in the pool, warm up in the spa then toast in front of the fire followed by a game of spotlight in the surrounding bush at night. Can’t recommend the place enough and even though I’d seen pictures it was a lovely surprise to see it was actually much better on arrival. Read more

Sep 2021I celebrated my 80th birthday at Main Break on Bina with my three adult children and their spouses. The house was perfect for our requirements. It is very spacious, well equiped and in a beautiful location.
My only criticism is that the beds need updating
Several of the queen beds appeared to have springs in the mattress which had lost their spring. The single beds whilst probably OK for children are very saggy for adults.
Some of the decking needs repair and could be dangerous
None of the above detracted from a great relaxing holiday experience Read more

Mar 2015A group of nine of us stayed there for a long weekend and had a fantastic time. There was plenty of room for everyone and the slepping quarters were comfortable.
We had loads of options when it came to entertainment, from hanging out together in the pool or spa or sitting in the alfresco area next to the table tennis table. The boys could even throw the footy around in the back on the huge block, which has ocean glimpses.
It was such a quiet and peaceful setting, we woke up to see kangaroos in the surrounding bushland. There was not another person in sight, even though there are neighbours just down the road.
Aside from a slightly disruptive visit by the owners and a tradie to measure up the kitchen cabinets, we had a very pleasant experience at Main Break and would definitely consider staying there again. Read more
