Oct 2018We were first discouraged as we entered this small cottage we looked for the stove and found a wood fired stove and it was amazing like we adapted so quickly kids played outside like the old days and mum cooked on the stove, burnt the cake, but we managed to salvage it, had a few accidents but we appreciate the opertunity.
Very enjoyable time, thank you

Mar 2018Such a beautiful little cottage, clearly lovingly restored and authentic. The little garden is a truly delightful spot to sit in and read, dine, drink etc. Bed was comfortable and the place was suitably dark at night.
One comment however; without having the stove lit it's very difficult to cook a meal easily - although there is a microwave and plug-in frying pan.
If we visit KI again, we're definitely asking to stay here again! Thanks Fern! Read more

Jan 2022Photos do not do the place justice, it is nicer than expected (being a real estate agent I would have professional photos done!). It was very clean and beautifully styled in keeping with the historic, old world charm. Everything we needed was there. Cute kitchen and modern and clean bathroom, nice hot shower and the towels were fluffy and luxurious. The handmade soaps were a nice surprise. Easy stroll to Cactus Cafe which had excellent coffee, food looked great too. Nice strolling around the town in the evening from here too. Gorgeous cottage garden surrounds. Our only complaint was the pillows were very ordinary but this was minor. Read more
