Location was perfect for us as it was half way between the coast and Brugges. It was very private and secure. The apartment has everything you need including parking right on the doorstep. Next time we come we will bring our bikes!

Petite maison au calme dans un village, décorée avec goût.

L’accès à la chambre à l’étage est compliqué à cause d’une poutre qui limite la hauteur et oblige à se baisser !!! Rien n’est prévu pour déposer ses vêtements dans cette chambre mansardée. La salle de bain mériterait un rafraîchissement.

Domus Maria is small, but cozy and well appointed (including the kitchen). It was lovely and quiet – at least as far as man-made noises go. We woke up to bird calls each morning. And the host was great – friendly, informative and helpful!

There is a slightly unfortunate smell in the bathroom, I assume coming from the drain. Running the fan seemed to keep it at bay, and it was not overpowering, but noticeable. Also, it was no problem for us, but due the architecture of the place (stairs/beam that needs to be gotten over/under at the top of the stairs), it's probably not the best option for people with mobility/balance issues.

Very friendly host, house has what you need in a practical setup while not feeling crammed.

Could have had a slightly larger washbasin. W-lan access would have been nice.
