About this condo rental
NEW BEACHFRONT REMODEL! FAMILY-FRIENDLY! Hi-Speed wifi! So you can still work, learn or play while enjoying the sound and view of the ocean from the second floor balcony. Our condo, Casa Que Pasa at the Island Retreat Condominiums, was built with all your friends' and families' (up to 8 adults + pack n play for 1 or 2 littles) needs in mind. Always non-smoking and pet-free, the 3 bedrooms and 2 baths are arranged up to accommodate a couple or families, or 3 sets of friends and/or in-laws comfortably. The feel of the interior is little Mexico, a lot of Austin and a touch of the Carribbean...CQP is both contemporary and timeless. We hope you enjoy our home away from home. Amenities include: * Down-to-the-studs yet down-to-earth remodel completed May 2020 brings in natural wood, stone and metal elements to complement 10-foot ceilings and curved walls * Fully-furnished with soft lines and hardwood this home was designed and decorated with the comfort and safety of our guests in mind - no hard edges for little ones * Washer/dryer (electric) in unit for your convenience * NEW Dedicated Hi-Speed internet! * On-site management, local access to cart rentals, spa/massage and restaurants Location: * Beachfront off 11th street which is parallel to the beach and between beach access road 1-A and Avenue G, Casa Que Pasa is close to all main city arteries, straight shot to airport, downtown and ferry * Walking distance to the Beach Lodge, oldest restaurant & bar on the beach (directly in the dunes directly in front of Island Retreat) cheeseburgers and tallboys on the walkable to Kody's on 11th with some of the best seafood and putt-putt on the island Thanks, for looking and please feel free to contact me directly with any questions or availability needs.

The condo was clean and the property owner was very accommodating the issue we had is that is states this is beachfront property and it really isn't. It still is a ways to the beach. Other then that the property was very nice and well taken care of. The kitchen was a little small and needed some deep cleaning and updated kitchen ware.

We had a really good time the apartment met all of our family needs and wants the plus was Jason he answered all of our questions quickly and will definitely plan on staying there again in the future

1. The cleaning people were still cleaning when we checked in at 4:00 p.m.
2. There was confusion as to where we were to get our parking permits and property bracelets, but we finally were given the permits and bracelets.
3. All of the smoke alarms were disconnected and taken down. We found them in the utility closet in the condo and let the front office know. They said they would have someone put them back up but that was not done while we were there.
4. The towel rack in the second bathroom was broken and gone.
5. The bed in the middle room was very uncomfortable to sleep on and there is a what looks to be a bullet hole in the window.
6. The televisions in the second and third bedroom were not connected to cable/internet, so they did not work.
7. The most irritating thing is there was a family with a 2 or 3 year old that ran back and forth across the entire condo above us until late in the evening and early in the morning, as well as dropped what sounded like bouncing balls on the floor.
8. Also, there were guests who were drinking and eating in the pool, which according to the pool rules were forbidden. Nothing was ever said to these guests.
9. The best part of the stay is the location of the condos to the beach, as well as the cleanliness of the pool.

This was booked for our anniversary trip and was perfect! The weather didn’t cooperate during our stay and we spent a lot of time in rental, it was great. Everything we needed in the kitchen, all rooms were comfortable, and great communication with owner. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing your place!

The beach was close to walk to and the pool was clean. We had a wonderful time. Jason was very pleasant and we felt safe at this condo.

The location was great with easy access to the beach. The condominium itself was older but the unit had been updated.
The kitchen was very small, but I expected that after reading previous reviews.
The living area was decent size with nice comfortable furniture. The furniture in the bedrooms weren’t good at all. The master bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on, plus the sheets didn’t fit the bed properly and kept slipping off at night.
Communication with the owner was easy and he responded quickly. He’s very nice.

This property was very convenient, because we could walk to the beach. So, we didn’t have to “shower off” with a water jug before getting back in the car. Was also easy to keep sand out of the unit, as there is an outdoor shower on the walkway back from the beach. Our kids loved watching the sunrise from the wooden path over the dunes. Very clean, and good communication from manager.

First time using any app to rent in Port A. It was very easy to get checked in and out. Security was very nice and accommodating. And Jason kept in communication during the day of check in and check out. I would recommend to anyone

Annual beach escape
Great property for 3 generations to enjoy the beach. Easy access to walk with toddlers and wagon over boardwalk to beach. Very short drive to bring all the extras. Parking attendants on property very friendly and helpful, management very quick to respond to all communications. Plenty of room in condo for 3 families. Downsides- some of the balcony chairs left rust marks on clothes (hard to prevent at the beach), dishwasher was broken, both full beds in 3rd bedroom were extremely squeaky. Great to be so close to town.

PORT A- is super nice and the beach was clear. It’s less than a quarter mile to the waves! The security team is fantastic and Jason was very helpful!
Pros:
Spacious! Lots of space and rooms. (Minus the kitchen)
Easy easy access to beach and pool.
Fully furnished- we only lacked laundry detergent
Loved the orange chair!!!! Sooo compfy.
Only cons are:
Small kitchen- but we totally managed.
A broken toaster- that made my dad sad- but that’s ok. It happens.
Beds are not the most comfortable- and they squeak when you look at them!

The condo was perfect for the Whooping Crane Festival. Great location, great experience… would choose it again - especially when it warms up and can take advantage of the pool and beach access.

Perfect location. We have stayed at another unit in this same complex before, and will come back again! A couple minute walk to the beach and close to the other amenities Port Aransas has to offer.
The unit was wonderful! Newly remodeled. Kitchen has basic necessities and though we didn't use them, there are communal grills and picnic tables right outside.
Communication with the owner was quick and easy. I asked a few questions before I booked and then we had a small issue with the parking pass when we first arrived. Jason responded very quickly.
