The cottage has a ground floor of 60 m². There are 2 recently expanded bedrooms – 2 double bed. A kitchen, dining area for 6 and a living room, a bathroom with a shower. Towels and linens are provided. The cottage is situated in the Hraunborgir area, a guiet community, by Kiðjabergsvegur (rout 353) only 3 km. Off Route 35 Biskupstungnabraut, a hidden pearl in the south, some 45 minutes, drive from the capital Reykjavik. It is ideal if you want to explore the golden Circle, Þingvellir National Park, Kerið, Gullfoss and Geysir and much more. Also in short distance is Mt. Hekla, the beautiful Seljalandsfoss and Skógarfoss Waterfalls and Þórsmörk, a natural gem. On your way to or from Reykjavik you can check out the Hveragarður (Steamgarden) in the town of Hveragerði. The area has a warm swimming pool, 3 hot tups, jacuzzi, wading pool a steambath and a Minigolf, that can be enjoyed by all age groups, over the summer. For golfers there is a 9 –hole golf course, with a par 3 holes, suitable for both beginners and more experienced. From Hraunborgir there is a short driving distance off 10 min, to another golf course, one of the best in the country, Kiðjaberg. The cottage has Wi-Fi and a well equipped kitchen with a fridge (includes a freezer), oven/stove and a dish washer. A dining area next to the kitchen and seats for 6 persons easily. There is also a living room with a sofa, table and and two chairs. The living room has a Smart TV, a DVD/CD player and a radio. The bathroom contents of a toilet, washbasin and a shower plus a new washing machine. There is WiFi internet connection in the house. The cottage has a large patio around it – with a great BBQ grill. The surroundings are very beautiful with many trees and large plot, with great possibility to see Northern lights, during the winter time.
