Das Haus war wunderschön, insbesondere auch der Garten und der Pool. Man war ganz für sich und hatte viel Platz. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit und hat wirklich an alles gedacht (egal ob Waschpulver, Salz, Kaffeefilter, Eiswürfeltüten, es war wirklich alles vorhanden)!

This holiday was booked to celebrate some milestone birthdays within the family, but for many weeks prior to travelling to Croatia we were doubtful that it would proceed due to Covid-19 restrictions. Therefore when we arrived at the house we were thrilled with the exceptional quality of the accommodation and facilities provided, which were perfect for the whole family. The pool is an ideal size and we enjoyed using the timber fired outside oven following the instructions from Miranda and using some vegetables from the garden. Although our travelling arrangements were complicated with various members of the family travelling from different airports at different times, Miranda made this easy for us by booking taxis etc. She was also very helpful with queries or information about the island and nothing seemed like too much trouble for her. Overall a wonderful holiday which we will fondly remember for a long time.

The swimming pool is lovely and has shower / toilet facilities next to it. It is also stocked with inflatables, scuba gear, an outside cooking area, lots of places to relax (including a four poster, two person lounger) and a huge dining table to eat at. The vegetable garden gave us many lunches and things to eat, the mountain bikes were a great surprise and the view over to the islands is pretty. Miranda was in touch to answer our questions when needed and furthermore, having two cars to explore the island included in the rental was a godsend. Many thanks Miranda for a wonderful holiday. Party of 6 with two children and we all had a lovey time. We all agreed that the villa is the best we had stayed in. It is immaculate and has absolutely everything you could need. The gardens are beautiful. Full of butterflies and bees, plus a vegetable patch that you can help yourself from. The pool was a great size and really well maintained. We cooked on the fire in the outdoor kitchen most nights, but there is a restaurant a stone’s throw away plus more in the nearest town about three km away. The village has a really well stocked little shop, plus a veg market, butchers and supermarket within 10 min drive. Miranda was a fantastic host, was really welcoming and everything ran very smoothly. A truly idyllic setting and villa. A perfect place to relax. Thank-you

Just returned from two weeks with six of us in the villa. It has been very tastefully renovated and to a high standard and was very comfortable. The pool and pool area was great to relax in and the views of the coast and mountains were a great backdrop. Whilst the villa is in a village locatiion it was very peaceful and the good local shop only a short walk away. The use of teh two cars was great and we were easily able to get to the two pretty harbour villages just a few minutes away. Miranda is most helpful and lovely to deal with in a very relaxed way. She kindly ararnged our transfers to/from the airport. The island is relatively quiet and only an hour ferry jouney from Split. Overall it was as good as it gets. Peter

Lovely 2 storey house in centre of the village. Good A/C and facilities. 4 good sized bedrooms all en suite. Gardens charming teaming with butterflies, frogs and lizards. Pool good size and invaluable in August. Very helpful owners. Use of 2 cars a lovely bonus to explore the beaches and evening harbour restaurants.

We ate in a few times on the amazing grill which has an outside kitchen and Miranda said we could have some vegetables from her veg patch, all was delicious. We ate out a few times in the local restaurant which was 50 m from the house, the lady arranged for us to have a whole pig on the spit, what a treat. Stormorska was 3km from the house what a beautiful harbour and ate in Volets pizzeria a few times, we definitely recommed their. Maslinica was not far too which has a beautiful harbour too and a lovely beach bar and beach we went too a few times. We hired a boat in Stormorska too this is a must to see the beautiful island of solta and we went over to Brac too another beautiful island, our captain was so good I think we paid around 200 euro for 5 hours and we snorkelled in the amazing crystal blue sea. Finally I want to thanks Miranda the owner of the house what a wonderful lady she is, always messaged me back straight away on all my queries. Thanks again Miranda for a truly lovely holiday and wonderful hospitatallity.

Solta ist jetzt nicht der Mittelpunkt der kroatischen Urlaubswelt, eher strukurschwach und kulinarisch mittelmäßig, dafür aber eben auch nicht überlaufen. Anreise bis Split und dann mit der Fähre nach Solta ist kein Problem (Miranda organisiert gerne ein shuttle). Es gibt auf der Insel ein paar Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (eher kleine Supermärkte), Fischmarkt, Fischfarm, Metzger, Obstmarkt usw. für die Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs mit überschaubaren Angebot, aber man bekommt fast alles. Die Strände, oder eher sind es kleine Buchten (Badeschuhe wegen der Seeigel nicht vergessen), sind teilweise etwas beschwerlich zu erreichen. Meinem eigenen Auto würde ich die schlecht angelegten Schotterpisten nicht zumuten, aber die zwei Fahrzeuge, die zum Haus gehören (Ford pickup oder Jeep) schaffen mit ihrem Allradantrieb dies meist mühelos. Das Haus selbst ist der Hammer; für Großfamilie, 2 Familien mit Kindern oder mehreren Pärchen bestens geeignet, da jedes Schlafzimmer ein eigenes Bad hat und die Bude vollklimatisiert ist. Aufwendig restauriert, gute Technik, super Poolanlage (die wirklich auch mit dauerbadenden Kindern klarkommt und keinHausmeister nachchlort bis einem die Augen Tränen). Loungeecke, Außendusche am Pool, Poolhaus mit Dusche und WC, Außengrill, Sitz- und Essgelegenheiten alles reichlich da. Gut, wir reden nicht über einen Hammerschnäppchenpreis, aber die zwei Autos, die dazu gehören, relativieren da Ganze auch wieder etwas. Einrichtung ist zwar IKEA, aber das Haus selbst bzw. die Anlage ist schon aufwendig aufgebaut worden. 50m die Straße runter ist auch ein Restaurant, Vorspeisen (schwarzes Risotto mit Oktopus) waren super, Hauptspeisen eher mäßig). Ausflug über Miranda (mit Dragi) oder auch mal ein Essen im "Strandhaus" von Dragi, natürlich Fisch oder Octopus, lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Auch die Kinder fanden es toll und wir sind noch ein paarmal zum Baden in die Bucht. Top Location, schöne Insel, lohnt sich mal, wenn man es eher ruhig haben möchte. The property is located at the edge of a small settlement, which makes it ideal if you prefer some privacy away from the busiest places. You can find the groceries, a restaurant and some other facilities there, but getting to the market (Grohote) or the beach (Stomorska, Necujam, Senjska) will require a few minutes drive. Must do(s): Visiting beautiful bays on the southern side of the island. Taking a walk in towns of Stomorska and Maslinica. Grilling local fish on your own. Exploring the island on bicycles. Having a drink in the beach bar Africa. Relaxing by the pool with your favorite music on... Overall, we loved the place and had no issues with the property. Ideal for both family and friends. The house can easily accommodate 10 people without stepping on each other toes. And the island is really nice with some beautiful places to find and lots to do.

The property totally fulfilled our expectations. Solta is a beautiful Island with great coves to explore and the added bonus of having a 4x4 car to explore the tracks around the island was tremendous. However the wonderful environment of the property, it's size, pool and location meant we found it very difficult to leave the property because it provided so much comfort and relaxation. We were 7 in total 5 adults and two twelve year old children and we loved just being there. Whether it was playing in the well-sized pool in the mornings, dozing in the afternoons or sitting enjoying the silence of the surrounding olive groves under a full moon gazing at the sea and the distant islands after cooking on the open grill, in the evenings. The property has all the facilities we required and was completely comfortable as every room had en-sutite bathrooms so everyone had their own space. The rooms were beautifully renovated. The kitchen and living room easily supported the 7 of us. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for peace, relaxation and comfort and a feeling of exclusivity. My only regret was that we booked for one week instead of two.

Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist hier perfekt aufgehoben!!! Es ist ein wirklich tolles, mit Liebe eingerichtetes Haus, das keine Wünsche offen lässt! Es ist alles da, was man braucht, drinnen wie draußen. Die Fotos versprechen wirklich nicht zu viel!!! So erwartet Sie neben dem voll ausgestatteten Haus auch ein vielseitiger, schön angelegter und am Abend beleuchteter Garten mit verschiedenen Terrassen, einer Außenküche mit Grill und einem tollen großen Pool. Liegen sind ausreichend vorhanden. Außerdem stehen noch Fahrräder und ein Geländewagen zur Verfügung, mit denen man die Umgebung erkunden kann. Die Vermieter kümmern sich herzlich um Ihre Gäste. Sie stehen jederzeit (auch schon vor dem Urlaub!) mit Rat und Tat zur Seite! Liebe Miranda, lieber Mario, wir möchten uns nochmal ganz herzlich für die tolle und vor allem herzliche Gastfreundschaft bedanken! Wir haben uns sehr erholt und die Zeit in Eurem Haus sehr genossen! The views are amazing, sunsets, You can see the ends of the island from the top floor terrace. The climate of the property is very mediterranean - and very romantic - especially the garden with a sofa placed in a shade of a palmtree. The house is fully equiped - the kitchen for instance- it offers almoust every appliance You can imagine. For those with kids - washing machine - priceless if You know what I mean.... ;) and air condition - working perfectly in every room. The hole island is a bit "lazy" and peacefull - great place for famillies with little children, avoiding crowdy places. The beaches in Stomorska and Maslinica were our favorites, but also wilder beaches - they are easy available by Jeep provided by the owners.
