Located in Pine Knoll Shores, this charming house for R 20,261 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. The Big Kahuna will be a great family destination for your summer vacation. There is plenty of space for a large family or multiple families. The view of the ocean is totally unobstructed and you can sit on the covered porch, relax on the oceanside sundeck or walk a few steps and be on the sand. With six bedrooms and five bathrooms, this spacious home will sleep 18 people. The living area has plenty of seating and features a 65" TV. The dining area will seat 8 and there are also 4 barstools. The newly remodeled kitchen has stainless appliances and beautiful quartz countertops along with a tile backsplash. The kitchen is fully stocked with all you will need to cook meals for your family. A very large master suite has a king bed and an additional private sitting area where you can relax, read, and look at the ocean. Additionally, two other upstairs bedrooms are oceanfront with a beautiful view. Both bedrooms have a king-sized bed and a comfortable chair for reading or looking at the ocean. Downstairs is spacious and includes 3 bedrooms including a bedroom with 2 queens, a bedroom with 2 full beds, and a bedroom/game room with a queen-size bed, a full-size futon and a foosball table. Plenty of books, games, and movies are available for your enjoyment. Each bathroom includes a shower and 4 of the baths also have a tub. There is no waiting for a shower after playing on the beach. A double-car garage includes an additional washer/dryer along with enough space to park 2 cars if you like. There is also a ping pong table in the garage. An outdoor shower is also available to rinse off the sand. The driveway will accommodate 5 cars.

Big Kahuna was a very nice property, we had plenty of space for our whole family. Elevator was perfect for our older family members. The kitchen was well stocked, which was a plus because we cooked in most nights. Property supplied beach chairs, coolers and beach toys. Loved the covered porch. Easy to contact owners for any questions. Close to the stores and plenty of restaurants were nearby. Hope to come back next year.

We had a great week at the Big Kahuna! The cottage was so spacious, well decorated, and well cleaned. The extra amenities, such as the elevator and industrial ice maker, really spoiled us. The host was great to work with. We will definitely be renting again in the future.

We felt like this house was perfect for our family - 5 adults and 5 kids under 5. Look forward to renting again in the future. The deck and access to the beach are definite highlights with a great outdoor shower and multiple hoses to spray off when coming up from the beach. GIANT ice maker in the garage would be great if you enjoy fishing, or perfect for keeping things cold on the beach. Kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of games for adults and things for kids in the house which were an unexpected bonus. Communication with the owner was great leading us to check in and throughout our stay.

Our family had a wonderful week at Pine Knoll Shores! The Big Kahuna was perfect for our large family and everyone had space to spread out and relax. The covered porch was the big hang out area and we were just steps away from the ocean!! Bruce and Terry were amazing hosts and were always available if you needed anything. We enjoyed ping pong in the well equipped garage area and a family talent show in the spacious living area. The ice machine was a real bonus!! What a fun week! We will be back next year!! Elliott

This was an overall great vacation. The place is gorgeous, the ocean was warm and turquoise colored. The host, Bruce, is a fantastic host, generous and answers fast. The house is perfect, with 3 masters on the main floor for the 3 couples. The kids stayed in the basement and everyone had their bed and was happy! Full of toys for the kids and adults to play, we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you Bruce, we will certainly come back next year!

The house was everything+ as described. Communication with Owner was excellent and much appreciated. Everyone had fun. The bonus of a full moon over the ocean and the sea turtle migration to the ocean almost in front of the house was a special bonus. This was a wonderful vacation at a great house.

Not only is the home situated in a safe/private area, it has the most spectacular beachfront views and inviting space for friends and family to relax and connect. An amazing property and owner. Absolutely no complaints. We were celebrating my husbands birthday and this property made the week very special. So well stocked. So comfortable (beds and furniture). Very spacious and many details that just make it so nice like drawers of hidden toys and a fully equipped bar and kitchen. There were even cake pans for the birthday cake. A+ experience

For the third year in a row, our family and friends gathered at the Big Kahuna for some fun, relaxation, and family time. The weather was beautiful, the beach was spectacular, and a good time was had! The house is always clean and ready when we arrive. We enjoy being able to spread out to watch TV, read, or nap but we also have room to gather for meals and games. Until next year....

This house was perfect for our multi family of 13 (8 adults, 3 teenagers and 2 kids). Not only was this house beautiful and perfectly located right on the beach, but some of the elderly family members said they felt like they were on a cruise ship with the views from their balcony!! The outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing off the sand!! Bruce was a wonderful host and was always responsive to anything we needed!! Everyone had such a great time and we look forward to returning in the near future!!

Our entire family agrees this was a fabulous house. Bruce was a wonderful host. He contacted us immediately upon booking to introduce himself. He reached out again a month out and while we were there. He took quite a bit of time to help us with restaurant selections. We really appreciate all the help. The house was beautiful. It was extremely spacious, clean and very well stocked. So often things are overpromised and under delivered. Our joke was this was the opposite. We found many more amenities than was listed. Thank you Bruce for making our family vacation a truly wonderful experience.

The Big Kahuna was all we expected it to be and more. The house is so spacious and the kitchen well stocked. Linens and towels were provided. The house was very clean. The elevator was a plus, which made unloading our vehicles very easy. Bruce and Terri have been a dream to work with. They were always willing to answer any questions we had prior to and during our stay. The beach was just steps away so we could go there anytime. Our grandchildren absolutely loved the location and didn't want to leave. We had 11 adults and children in the house and there was plenty of room for everyone. I would not hesitate to book this house again in the future and would highly recommend this rental for anyone. We will remember this vacation celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary forever. Thanks for the memories.

The property was a bit dirty when we arrived. I called Bruce and notified him. The property is better than expected - the pictures do not do it justice. There rooms are spacious. Everyone in our extended family absolutely loved this beach house. It feels like a home intended for families to enjoy. There are so many personal touches to make you feel at home. It is ideal for family gatherings with its great layout, lovely decorating, and comfortable furnishings. The great room, dining area and kitchen are perfect for spending family evenings together. And the ocean view is spectacular! The owners couldn't be nicer. We highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at the Big Kahuna! We celebrated our 50th Anniversary with all our children, grandchildren, my mom and my sisters and their families. 4 generations ! House is beautiful and actually bigger than it seems online, we were pleasantly surprised. Owner answered questions quickly. One hiccup with a bathroom leak was addressed immediately, and we are to be compensated for the inconvenience. Would definitely rent again!

Best family memories!

Absolutely stunning home that sleeps 16 with plenty of space! The kitchen is literally stocked with everything you would need to cook and bake with that you would use in your own home. The views are beyond what I had expected from the living room and the 3 upper bedrooms! The setup was beautiful and just the perfect home for a large family gathering. The garage was spacious and we were able to park 2 vehicles in there with still space to play ping pong! We had family from different states visiting that made this area perfect. It was not crowded with with people on the beach which made it easy for us to keep an eye on our kids while in the water. The fishing was incredible! We caught 2 redfish and saw dolphins and a sea turtle during our stay! The ice machine and elevator were greatly needed and made the stay convenient! Already saving for our next trip back there!!!!
