This newly built cozy accommodation has 3 rooms, a bedroom, living room/kitchenette and bathroom and opens onto a sunny courtyard with outdoor furniture and BBQ area. Extensive parking area beside entry to lodge. The sheltered lodge is situated in 10 acres of garden and orchard, where you can relax and roam freely. Trained pet dog friendly. Bell Block is only a few minutes away with supermarket, chemist, The Warehouse and restaurants. Airport and CBD 10 mins away. Bike Trail leads onto New Plymouth's popular Coastal Walkway from Bell Block to the Port of Taranaki. Fitzroy and East End Beaches are very popular for swimming and surfing. Mt Taranaki / Egmont is great for tramping and is just a short drive away. Come and Enjoy Taranaki like no other. Extras: All linen (included); NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave;

A picturesque spot to stay. A lovely Bach. The walking trail pass the industrial area is breath taking. Close to town which also has a beautiful park to wander. Enjoyed the black sand beach.The owners are wonderful, welcoming and informative people. Thank you so much for sharing your home, conversations and those delicious tomatoes. Would definitely stay again. Cheers!

Cosy good location near expressway not far from central New Plymouth. Ideal for quite quick stop. No cooking facilities so not ideal for long stay

The accommodation is perfect! Very tidy and clean. Well equipped, cozy and warm. We were so happy to bring our little dogs with us. The garden is huge, so good morning walk with our dogs. Thanks!

Enjoyed walking the dog through the orchard.....was close enough to town to pop out for supplies, but a rural setting which made us feel like we were out the way.

Orchard Lodge was very spacious, sunny and spotless. A serene and handy location. Thank you to hosts Aileen & Kev for making me feel very much at home and also for welcoming my small dog Henri. It was a delight to be in the midst of an orchard and the hosts kindly offering access to the fresh feijoas. The parklike gardens are so beautiful. Look forward to returning!

Enjoyed the stay as did Ted (scruffy quiet Jack Russell mystery cross). Ideal for dogs, morning walk, evening walk, outside the door! (not forgetting day walks around New Plymouth) Nothing too much trouble for the owners, made very welcome. Would go back, all you need to know.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and made the most of the property, especially our dog, Mylo. He enjoyed the freedom to roam and explore the property. Our hosts were excellent, and the location was very handy to places of interest in New Plymouth

This is a really lovely spot near Bell Block and only 5 minutes out of New Plymouth. It is in a tranquil garden setting on an avocado orchard. Kev and Aileen are great hosts, warm, welcoming and great to chat to. It is close to The Valley shopping area with a big, modern Countdown, Harvey Norman, Noel Leeming, Bed Bath and Beyond etc. Great for country walks. New Plymouth is lively with the wonderful Festival of Lights at Pukekura Park on at the moment - free too! Gorgeous beaches, lots of choice with cafés. The « bach » is super comfortable, with good cooking facilities and a shower with lots of oressure. Top rating.

Orchard Inn, New Plymouth
What a great place to stay! Very friendly and super clean and warm. We took our dog along with us and there was plenty of safe room for him to run around in the orchard, he loved it! Hosts were amazing and we were even given avocados as wee left! Will stay again for sure.
