About this villa rental
Welcome to Butterfly House where we hope you can spend the time away from home with all the comforts of home. Our unit is self contained with 2 bedrooms, family room and fully equipped kitchen. It is centrally located in Cowes and is a 3 minutes walk to the Island Summer Carnival ground, Mendls cafe & gallery. It is a five minute drive to restaurants, shops and amenities in Cowes or a 15 minute walk if you choose to leave the car behind. The unit is located at the back of our property and has its own private courtyard. As a guest you will have exclusive access to the property with your own guest entrance and parking. The unit has: - a fully equipped kitchen for those nights you choose to eat in - has spilt system cooling and heating as well as ceiling fans - family sized bathroom (full size tub for bathing your little ones as well as a separate shower) - washing machine for doing your laundry after a day at the beach - clean linen supplied The unit is super comfortable is ideal for your getaway as a couple, family or with friends. Check in is 2pm and check out 10am

Stayz had seemingly messed up our booking, which I noticed at the last minute and contacted the owner about.
Arlette was very patient and offered me options, which I appreciated.
The house was immaculate and cosy. Beds were clean abd comfy and enough clean towels etc.
Supermarkets are a 20 min walk away and the beach just a little further.
Quiet location, though near a main road.
The small outdoor area was lovely to sit in with a cuppa.

Enjoyed our stay at butterfly house. Every thing was spotlessly clean and so close to all amenities. We plan to come there again when we can all grab some free time together special thanks to our Host, ARLETTE AND BARNABE FRANCOIR For organising thos wonderful home. A lovely property with everything you need for your stay. In a very quiet location but walking distance to the animal park and a five minute drive to the town and beach.
Arlette was a very helpful host and the house is well kitted out if you want to cook at home.
One thing to note is the address on stayz says lansell street but the property is actually on lansell road.

Very easy booking process and owners very nice and easy communicators. Cute house. Very cozy! Kids room could have more character and electric blankets but otherwise very comfy place to stay. Love the little courtyard!!!

The house was very clean but overall very basic. Small helpful items such as shampoo, salt, coffee pods, etc were not included.

Was a very nice place, located at a perfect distance from major sites like the beach and the penguin parade.

House was tidy and well equipped just very dusty needed a good airing out. Floors were really slippery too. Owner would not give any details of how to access property until arrival so was a bit stressful not knowing what was going on.

We had a lovely midwinter stay at the Butterfly house. It was lovely, neat and clean. It had everything we needed for a small family. It was a great central location to explore the island from. Owners were great at communicating. Would defintely return.
