My husband, 2 dogs and I all had a lovely stay. Cathy & Eric were great hosts and very responsive (we could find nothing on internet passwords). The house was spotless, fantastic location and that fabulous balcony!

The house was super nice and clean. Very cozy and peaceful. The beach was wonderful. Not too many people around, which was awesome. 10/10 would recommend choosing this spot! We will definitely be back!

We had a deliteful weekend in Bolivar staying at this property. It is well stocked with most things you would need. The host is great with communication and quick to respond. You can’t beat this beach front home!

This is the second time our group of 5 girlfriends has stayed at this property. The property is clean, stocked with necessities, and the beachfront is not crowded. Love it…we’ll be back!

This house was terrific. Location right on the beach with great access. The house was beautiful. Enough beds for large parties we had 8 + 2 dogs. Aside from the upand down stairs it was great. Water got hot quick and stayed hot long enough for multiple people to take showers. The only thing negative to say was that it was very windy and we grilled on the grill one night. There is not really any cover/wind wall to put the grill behind and that made it a little difficult. Orherwise it was perfect and would definently cobsider renting again as it is so nice to not be surrounded by tons of people.

Sea la Vie was the perfect house to stay in for my family and friends. The location could not have been more perfect! We were steps away from the beach and had a beautiful view from the balcony. The hosts were very responsive and provided all the comforts of home. We will definitely rent here again when we head back to Bolivar Peninsula!

Beautiful kept home on the water. Through the yard, take the path through the dunes right down to the beach. I travel with my special needs adult son and my mother. The home was perfect for us and could have easily held more of my family. Easy to walk through the yard and be in the sand. My special needs son could see me from the deck and I could see him from the beach. We will stay here again

Right on the beach. Quiet but the house is very close to the road so you do hear cars passing at night. It was not a problem for us. The house does sway quite a bit but we were OK with it. There is a purple Martin house in the back and they were very active and fun to watch. Nice seating area in the living room and all the amenities in the kitchen you would need. Very clean.

Beautiful view right on the ocean. Great house. Could not find the forks. My son told me that there were items in the dishwasher, did not think to look there, either one of us. I imagine they were in there along with whatever else.. Had a problem with getting the lock box open, though my son did not. Second house to our left there was a larger drunken, fairly rowdy party, complete with doing doughnuts with their vehicles on the beach into the night. The outdoor furniture was plentiful and nice, we liked that the chairs sat high above the railings so that you could take in the great view of the Gulf. Screens would have been nice so that we could open the windows. I guess the icemaker was not working but there was a bag of ice provided, which was nice. Great time bird watching at Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge. Overall a very nice house to stay at on the Bolivar Peninsula

We really enjoyed our stay at this beach house. Loved that it was right on the beach. I loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the water every morning. Beds were really comfortable. Loved that we could have our pups with us and that we could walk them along the beach. Was very quiet with not a lot of people nearby. Would definitely stay here again!

February really isn't the ideal time for a beach stay but our 20yr wedding anniversary was a couple weeks prior. So my husband, myself, 3 fur babies & our side-by-side loaded up & headed out. The weather was 60°+, mostly overcast, the sun peeked out some. The beach house was perfect, the view excellent, clean & well stocked with all anyone would need for the comforts of home. Eric & Cathy were readily available for any questions I had and replied with quick response. Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your beach home.

This place was just as described and you could not get closer to the beach if you tried. The house was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. The deck had plenty of chairs and the view was just incredible. After visiting the Galveston side, I was thankful that I had rented on the Bolivar Peninsula side. It was peaceful and quiet. A much needed break for my husband and our dog. Will rent again.

Absolutely the best stay yet! Spotless, updated and comfy furniture, plenty of space to lounge and finally a properly stocked kitchen with pots, pans, dishes and all the appliances you need all in incredibly great condition. The view is stunning and the outdoor furniture is perfect for relaxing. We took our dog too and he was very comfy and welcomed there. Neighbors were very friendly too. Best beach yet for non crowds chill time. Can’t wait to return.

Five of us spent a long weekend here for our annual girls' trip. We absolutely loved the location - literal steps from the beach and such an amazing view! The house is beautiful and well stocked with all of the amenities you need to prepare meals, wash a load of laundry, and sleep/shower comfortably. We really enjoyed our time here, and would definitely stay here again!

Property, recommended by a friend, was excellent in every way. Welcoming, spacious, and well equipped, the home had a beautiful view of the beach, just a short walk away. We enjoyed relaxing on the patio, sharing meals as a family, and getting unplugged for a few days. Highly recommended, this home is a bit more expensive than other options, but is well worth it.
