This was our second time staying at a property managed by Michael and again we were very pleased with the property, very well kept and clean. Location was perfect, short walk to Enterprise/Miami beach and Oistins fish market.

We stayed at Tremont Villa with 6 other friends and we had a wonderful time in the house, very spacious and in a convenient position for surfing spots and magnificent beaches ... the house is perfectly as described in the ad we had no problems and communications with Michael, the Host of the house have always been very fast and friendly, he also helped us find the rental car at a great price, everything in the house worked very well.
Unfortunately due to our inattention we broke an object in the house and we communicated to Michael our willingness to reimburse the damage, but Michael kindly replied that these are things that can happen and did not charge us anything .. thanks Michael for the courtesy and if we will return in Barbados as a group we will definitely rent this Villa again.
I highly recommend Tremont Villa

Beats the Snow
2022 was a chaotic year on the downward slope of the pandemic so our entire trip was a challenge. When we finally got to the property, Simone was there and gave us the keys and a very quick tour. From there on we were pretty much on our own.
The house is roomy and was clean. A lovely back deck to spend time which always had a cooling breeze. Kitchen was fairly well equipped with lots of cupboards, fridge with ice maker, working dishwasher, and gas stove. Some instructions for using the stove would be helpful, especially lighting the oven. We did manage to figure it out. All toilets worked. Shower pressure was inconsistent, but this is mostly related to the water pressure on the island which can fluctuate depending on water main breaks and repairs. The advertisement says king size beds, but in fact all beds are queen size. This was a bit of a disappointment to us but manageable. There is no dryer, but lots of clothes line. Washer works well. There are two ceiling fans, one in the living room and one in the upstairs lounge. No fans in the bedrooms, just air conditioners . I would suggest ceiling fans be added in the bedrooms or even pedestal fans. This would reduce the need to use air conditioning which would save hydro and is more environmentally friendly. Finally the neighborhood is close to Miami beach, but is very residential and there are a multitude of barking dogs all around that bark all day and all night. Add to this roosters and cooing doves and sleeping through the night is a challenge unless you are a very heavy sleeper. So bring ear plugs.
In summary, we enjoyed our 7 weeks at the Tremont house. We were very comfortable and with the exception of the lack of fans and barking dogs were very satisfied with the location. The owners were very responsive and considerate and we appreciated this.

Clean and spacious villa
We visited Barbados over Christmas with our three high school-college aged boys and our nephew, who all enjoy surfing, and my father-in-law. The villa was spacious, extremely clean with plenty of beds, bathrooms, linens, well stocked kitchen. The house is in a perfect location away from the hustle and bustle but a very short drive into town and super close to both surfing and swimming beaches. The boys could walk across the street with their boards to go surfing. And, Miami Beach, which is less than a mile down the road was amazing.
Michael was an extremely attentive host. He sent us lots of information about places to see and restaurant suggestions. When we arrived we noticed that the AC in the master bedroom was not working. He had a repairman there that same day. He was also extremely accommodating when we asked for a very late checkout. I highly recommend Tremont.

Our holiday was fine as we were there for a wedding we were not going to let the state of property spoiled it , so we own it. The property when we arrive was not highly clean, they were bottle tops lying around on the veranda. We were let into the property through the kitchen and shown around the property by the meet and greet Simone. we were not happy as there were a lot of crack tiles through the property, The toilets didn`t flush properly and at one point over flow and the handle had green lime scale ,the showers had mold and sand in them and the shower heads full of lime scale and the sinks were the same not clean. The first few days when ever we used the toilets or bath the water never flow away right away and when ever we call simone she always told us to use the plunger. The drain in the yard then started to over flow creating a very bad smell, after another call to simone she got some to come out an deal with it that same. The down stair toilet was not fix to the floor the bolts that were use to fix it to the floor were rusty and broken at the base.I took a photo and send it to simone, the kitchen sink where water had splash the work top had come away from the wall and I think that water run down behind it into the cupboard and also around the edge of the were rusty and someone had attempt to seal it., under the sink was smelly and damp from water leak and the boards warp . Most of the cupboards from the sink to the cooker and along that side when you open them smell of damp and inside the bottom cupboard filthy. The fridge which supply ice and water was a little rusty which someone attempt to paint over. The interior wall and shower lights were rusty and some with dead bugs in them, It is a spacious place but some of the finish work on the house were not neat , the titles in some places looks like the grout was smear on and not clean afterward. You can see the dirt in the corner from the cleaning ,the place need a much need repaint bout inside and out as it starting fake, the broader wall are crack and chipped. We have someone walked straight into the house the second Monday while we were all in the bedrooms there looking for the owner Micheal , he said he heard that Micheal was back on the Island and came to see him, I was told that he said his name was Lockie. When we mention it to simone she said she thinks she knows who it was but that not his name. We clean the house from top to bottom before simone arrive.

Tremont Suited Our Needs
Firstly, when arriving at the airport, and due to the Tremont house not having a "house number" please make sure you tell security you are staying at Tremont Rental House on Enterprise Coastal Road, that will satisfy their needs. We had a little trouble communicating with Michael to get the exact address of the house but did find it by zooming up the rental picture and looking for land marks, lions on either side of the gate and the color of the house. Enterprise Coastal Road is a very busy road; at night you have those who want to speed past the house. Please bring ear plugs as there is no less than 30 dogs in the area and they bark all night. The dishwasher didn't work, the stove had to be lite with matches and the air conditioner in the master bedroom stopped working, soaking the futon and bedding below. We tried to contact Michael to get it fixed, unfortunately, we were unable to hear back from him before we vacated. The cleaning lady needs to spend some extra time cleaning the bathrooms and all around the walls of the house, about 3" from the floor you can see the dirt from the mop. The house needs some TLC. Aside from the above, the house was a good +; lots of bedrooms, washrooms, tables and chairs to suit a larger group like ours. You walk onto a cover deck before entering the house; table and chairs to sit outside, enjoy the fresh warm air, and no bugs. The beach is a few blocks away, a beautiful area to snorkel, surf, walk on the beach or picnic and look at the beautiful blue ocean. Bring lots of sunscreen!! Not too far from the house was a fish market; they skin, debone, and filet your choice; excellent variety of fresh fish. We travelled the island seeing many of the highlights, including the Canadian vs. Bajan Polo finals - fantastic. Lots of Rum distilleries to tour. Along the west coast we ate at a great restaurant while watching the waves come and go. Monkeys were playing in the road but quickly jumped into the trees as we got closer, we took lots of pictures (from the vehicle). Travel on the coastal road, awesome! The island hosts lots of historic landmarks including the Washington House, great history, wonderful tour guides, and a lovely little restaurant. Getting around was interesting, you drive on the other side of the road; after a couple of days the guys managed to relax. Everyone speaks English, very kind and so helpful. We would love to go back and would rent this house again. Miss Barbados already!

The Youth Culinary Team of the Cayman Islands traveled as a delegation to CARIFESTA 2017. To all be accommodated under one roof was the ideal mix and TREMONT HOUSE provided the best possible option. It was centrally located to all the events that the Team had to attend and Oistins was with easy reach for supermarkets and entertainment.
This Home Away Experience was the first of its kind for the Team but it will not be the last.
Thanks Michael and Tremont House, it was an amazing time.

Was able to comfortably have my family stay at this beautiful and spacious house. The house easily accommodates a total of 15 individuals, with space to spare.
We had two little ones and cribs were provided. There was a working washing machine to clean all the wet beach clothing.
Excellent location for walking to the beach to swim or kite surf, and more importantly, experience the atmosphere and authentic bargain cuisine at oistin's market which is within walking distance as well.
The location was safe, and we had a beautiful family vacation.
Special mention to the owner and individuals who care for this place. They are awesome. Friendly and willing to assist in anyway. Through their assistance we were able to get a van to pick us up from the airport as well as transport us all over the island for a very fair rate.? They were easy to talk to over the phone or via email and were very prompt to return calls as well as provided all we needed before we ever got to barbados.
Will return in a heart beat.
