Located in North Myrtle Beach, this lovely house for R 4,977 per night is a great option for your next break. 25% off 3-7 nights through June (3 night minimum). PET FRIENDLY: 3 PET LIMIT. 2 CATS MAXIMUM. $100 NON-REFUNDABLE PET FEE PER PET. $500 REFUNDABLE PET DEPOSIT. Turtle Groove is a 5 bedroom, 3 bath pet friendly home located in the Cherry Grove section of North Myrtle Beach. This home sleeps 10 (8 in beds, 2 on futons). Turtle Groove is on the 2nd row (300 feet from the ocean) with an ocean view and channel view. The main living area is an open plan with tile floors, loveseats, swivel chairs and a 55" smart 4k TV and blu-ray player. All TVs include streaming YouTubeTV (which is like cable/dvr), and add-free Hulu service. There is also a well stocked kitchen with quartz counters, gas cook top and seating for 10 (table plus bar). This house also includes 1Gb speed internet and WIFI. Off the main living area is the master suite with a queen bed, 32" smart TV, large walk-in closet and full bath with washer/dryer. On this level you also have the use of the Carolina room with a twin bunk bed (2nd bedroom), 32" smart TV with gaming console (Nintendo Wii), and a sitting area overlooking the Channels with a big picture window! The upper level has 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed and 32" smart TV. These rooms share a full bathroom The game room includes a full size air hockey table, ping-pong and foosball table, and another 55"smart TV. In the game room are a kitchenette, 2 futons, couch, and a full bath. The room also has 3 bar height tables with seating for six and easy access to the covered outdoor grilling/lounging space. Outside you will find both a full sun lounging deck off the main floor and beneath it is a fully shaded hangout spot with a fully fenced yard, gas grill and picnic table and hammock chairs, outdoor shower and even a shower for your pet! We also provide a wagon for taking your stuff to the beach, a playpen, and a medium dog crate (30" tall). All guests of Turtle Groove will also be able to use our high speed WIFI, free Hulu and YouTubeTV on all TVs, on-site parking for 3 vehicles and an assortment of games and movies for the Wii and blu-ray player. Oh and if you are here for the beach you will enjoy two public access points on the same block just a few steps from the house. Turtle Groove is a short drive to grocery stores, shopping, golf courses, entertainment, and restaurants. Enjoy your time shopping and dining at the nearby Barefoot Landing, Tanger Outlets, Broadway at the Beach, and many other specialty shops. The home was lovely and so close to the beach. The view of the sound was a nice bonus and we enjoyed watching the fish jump. Our dog, Kanga, got quite used to being a beach pup and we loved that she could be part of our beach vacation.

The stay was ok. Issues with the AC unit, showers and the comfort of the beds. The couches were stained and in poor condition.

This property should not be listed as a 5 bedroom home. The fourth bedroom upstairs was big enough for only bunk beds and no dresser. Cabinet doors in the kitchen where falling off their hinges. Downstairs which was supposed to be the 5th bedroom had 2 futons that we put together and I had brought a queen size air mattress, good thing the futons had seen better days and pretty gross. No dresser or closet space to put any clothes. Flooring at the end of the garage doors was pulling away from the rest of the floor and you could hear every car that drove by at night. Definitely would not rent this again or refer it to someone. Owners need to do a lot of work to update this to 5 bedroom status at the price that I paid.

Beach was super close and easy to get to. Teen hangout downstairs was fun, and totally separate from the upstairs quarters (has no windows or way to air out the room - which got a bit funky during the week). House was adequately furnished, bedrooms were good sized. Could use nicer linens (they were scratchy and thin) and a better equipped kitchen - this is a home that is rented full time, I think, as it was not set up with any personal touches or organization, and for the price, I expected better quality. Management was quick to respond for bed linens that were missing, as we had a group of 9 we needed all the sleeping spaces.

When we go on vacation somewhere, we expect it clean. This place was filthy upon arrival. I spent 2 days before family arrived CLEANING! Also, we were greeted with a huge, clear plastic bag thrown inside the front door with all of our towels for the week and sheets for the bed and you have to make the beds and put all the linens where they go. The garage that has been turned into a game room/sleeping area smells of mold/mildew instantly when you open the door to go in, therefore we thought it both unsafe and undesirable to spend any time in there. When I personally showed up at Seaside Vacation’s office to let them know of our experience, I was met with excuses and no apology whatsoever. I had to get very adamant about the cleaning fee being refunded to us. I am appalled that a rental company/owner of the property/business would think so little of other people and their feelings, and the fact that it was Christmastime to rent out a house so unworthy of being rented out! Do not rent this place! There are literally thousands of other places to rent at North Myrtle Beach and many other rental companies to rent from. When you come across this place, keep scrolling!!!

Having family together is what made the trip. However, we wish the accommodations had been a little better. The first issue understandably is not directly related to the house or it’s conditions, rather a system problem. While I am sure it is probably in the fine print, the last thing I want to do on vacation when I get somewhere, after I have paid more for cleaning and linens etc than what I paid to stay, is to have to make all the beds! Really? Second, there were several loose nails and screws on the ground, by the downstairs entrance. One family member got a screw in her shoe. We found others.
While it was winter, the temperatures while we were there, were in the 60s and it was a bit balmy. The inside of the house got hot. Despite trying to set the thermostat to a comfortable temperature, the inside temp kept rising. We called and someone came out but couldn’t get in the closet as it was locked and so just fumbled a bit with the thermostat which did not help. By this time we were leaving the next day. We ended up trying to turn off the unit and open windows for cooler air. The fan in master bedroom had one speed, and that was slow. We had to bring or buy various items such as soap, detergents, etc and there was no spare toilet paper. I know these items are not always a given but I have stayed in places where that was available and reasonably plentiful.. We essentially paid a lot for space.
On the positive side, the appliances were nice and new. There were plenty of cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. it was only a block from the beach. There was a grocery store not far away. The downstairs had been turned into a game room which was nice, tho a little dated. There was ample parking space for our family with three cars. There was a nice outdoor seating area with a grill downstairs and an upstairs deck with chairs. Hope this helps others looking to stay.

Great location! Views were great. Only constructive criticism, which is tough in the middle of the vacation season, is a through deep cleaning of the kitchen cabinets. The master bathroom sink was slow to drain. Beach cart, two chairs, and umbrella had seen better days. All in all for a Cherry Grove rental, we enjoyed and it fit our family's needs.

Great weekend
If your looking for relaxation and not much traffic this spot is great. The property was very nice and the bottom closed in section was a huge hit with the kids. It's about a 5 minute easy walk to the beach. I would definitely stay in this property again.

When we arrived at the house we immediately found large bugs in the game room. It also smelled so bad we could not stay in the room. We called management right away and they sent a can of raid and room freshener. Throughout our stay we would find bugs in the home. The final day they finally sent an exterminator. I asked for some money back and they refused. The outside needed repairs done on balcony and fence. Rusted nails and parts of balcony was loose and dangerous. The furniture was nice but clearly had not been cleaned in a very long time., The beds were very uncomfortable. The only nice thing was the location and how stocked it was with all you needed as far as household necessities.

Our 12 and 14 y/o sons enjoyed their own space - huge room with pool table, Foosball and ping pong plus bathroom and mini frig. There is no ocean view, but pretty view of sound. Comfortable, plenty of room and full use kitchen
