You will feel at home in this cozy new duplex that is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood that has private areas, great neighbors, and a great location. Walking distance to downtown and a park. Our home also includes comfortable beds with a king size tempur-pedic bed in the master bedroom with adjoining master bathroom, double sinks and new shower heads. More information The space This property was the 4th house built in Alamosa in 1881 on 400 acres. The original home had to be torn down because of structural issues. This new home was rebuilt as an investment property, and thought this would make a perfect family vacation rental due to it's location being so conveniently located near downtown and Cole Park, where there are several great events held. This would also make a great home for individuals coming in for meetings or training since we are conveniently located close to Adams State University and the San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center. Our home is also located 2 blocks from the Rio Grande River, Rio Grande Scenic Railroad, two brewery's, one includes the Roast Craft Coffee Shop, and lots of other great restaurants and shops. Visiting Alamosa CO in the summer is just about perfect. Staying in this sunny, cheerful well appointed home topped off a delightful visit. The location is great. A short walk to downtown shops, super close to a James Beard nominated restaurant called Friar’s Fork. The walkability can’t be beat. The neighborhood was quiet. Any and everything you might need to be comfortable has been thought of and is right there in the house. Nice linens on the beds and comfy living room furniture. We live over a thousand miles away from Alamosa but we’ll be back!

Worked for what we needed. Overall a good place to stay. They need to clean up the yard, a lot of weeds.

Had a great time in this peaceful little location with great, comfortable rooms, very clean, and everything we needed. The kids had a blast in the garage with the game tables too, that was a huge bonus for thwm especially! The welcome basket was so helpful for our stay and a fun surprise. Thanks for a great place to stay! Would definitely recommend.

This was a great place for your family to meet. The host and caretaker were wonderful to work with. They had a goodie basket and even a garage to park our car. Nothing was lacking.

The house where I stayed is close to restaurants, parks & a bookstore. The property was very clean & has a full kitchen .It has three bedrooms, two. baths and a washer and drier There is a surprising amount of wildlife in Alamosa. I saw three Mule deer from the front porch of the house. I had a great time.

Worked perfectly for the 5 of us. Great location for going to the sand dunes - I can't imagine there are many that are closer since it's mostly open land for miles closer to the park. Walkable to restaurants and stores. Very cool older area. House was super clean and comfortable!

We stayed for a quick weekend (4 adults, one toddler, and dogs) to check out the Great Sand Dunes and the house was exactly what we needed and more. The house is even better than the pictures indicate, and has all sorts of nice touches like snacks, bottled water, a high chair, etc. Fairly spacious and with a huge garage. Beyond expectations!!

This place was so accessible to beautiful downtown! Just a few blocks from the park, river and restaurants. So clean and comfortable. We traveled with a toddler, a small child and a teenager and this house provided something for everyone. From snacks to games. We enjoyed ourselves and loved that we could cook our own meals! ♡

only a few blocks from a nice park and the Rio Grande river.
The property is loaded with all the amenities.
We stayed nine days and prepared and ate all our meals at the house... I would recommend this property to everyone

We have used VRBO multiple times staying from Florida to Hawaii. This unit was one of the cleanest we have stayed in over the years. Everything about it was nice from the layout to the multiple choices in Keurig coffees. We enjoyed being able to walk downtown. We loved having the big garage to park out vehicle. We go to Alamosa a lot to visit family and we will definitely work to stay at this location first!!

Only complaint was a bbq that was not ready to be used. Otherwise AMAZING!

I enjoyed my stay 0, the only things I have to say is the handle for the washer was broken but still usable and the dryer makes some pretty scary noises when starting but it also worked just fine.

We really enjoyed our stay in your home. The location was great! We were within walking distance of Cole Park, to walk our dog. We also walked to San Luis Valley Brewing for dinner. The home was clean and had everything we needed, including bottled water, a few beers, and plenty of snacks. We liked that we could park our vehicle in the garage. We also enjoyed a few games on the foosball table, after our days sandboarding at Great Sand Dunes NP, hiking at Zapata Falls & North Crestone Lake trail. The North Crestone Lake trail was a highlight, as the aspens were in peak fall color. Gorgeous!
