Situated in Dewey Beach, this lovely condo for R 9,082 per night is a great option for your next break. Welcome to The Residence at Lighthouse Cove, #252. OVERVIEW: Luxury meets the Beach at this spectacular two-bedroom, two-bathroom bayside retreat! Our guests have full access to The Residences' landscaped roof-top plaza, where you can watch the sunset by the fire pit and listen to a large water feature. Take advantage of the shared grilling area and grill out for dinner, or relax and enjoy our stunning Mid-Atlantic coastline. You can float in the indoor and outdoor pools (Pools are typically open from Memorial Day through Labor Day) or work out on the new fitness equipment. The fully-equipped kitchen is every cook's dream with stainless steel appliances, granite countertop, breakfast bar w/ dishes, tableware, and cookware. Very spacious and open living/dining area w/ comfortable, luxury seating for family and guests, all complimenting a flat-screen TV and gas fireplace. The living room also features a pull-out couch for additional sleeping needs. A private balcony off the living area greets you with a stunning view of Rehoboth Bay and the marina. The luxurious primary bedroom includes a king-sized bed and a private bathroom w/ double vanity sinks. The second bedroom features a queen bed w/ access to the Jack & Jill bathroom and full-size laundry. LOCATION: Located just a short walk to the Beach and at the south end of Dewey Beach, you will find great restaurants, beach shops, and lots of nightlife! PARKING: Assigned parking for two cars in the garage. AMENITIES: Community gym, indoor and outdoor pool, roof-top terrace, community grilling area, washer & dryer, elevators, and Wi-Fi. THINGS TO KNOW: No smoking and no pets! Linens are not supplied. However, we do offer a rental program for guests. Height restriction for the parking garage of 6'6". Access cards will be provided to access the garage, elevator, amenities, and unit. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Great condominium both in size and cleanliness. Unfortunately poor property management. Pass keys did not work to enter the building on arrival and nobody was present in the office. The kindness of another resident allowed us to enter the building. The pass key did not allow access to the parking spaces. When we were able to meet with a property manager, we were told they would be able to resolve the issues three days later; the same day that we were checking out. Yes to the condo, no to the property management!

Check-in was confusing. There are two room 252s… on for the condo and one for the Hyatt hotel. Need better clarity on that. Also, the property management company changed on April 1st. All of the information provided had old property management company information. Had trouble with card access to parking garage. Old property management company listed would not help me… new property management company does not have a number to call for questions/problems. The rental agency (REMAX) was helpful but the information for the property management company for Lighthouse Cove needs to be updated. The unit was very clean and nice. Location was great.

I was there for 3 weeks. NO IRON. NO BOWLS. DISHES AND UTENSILS FOR 6 - so used dish washer 3 times a day. Very poorly equipped. Sleeps 6. ONLY 4 TABLE CHAIRS.

Nice property, rooms very hard to find though. There were rooms 252 right near each other, one in the hotel part and one in the condo part....very confusing, parking was as well. Other than that, it was great!

Perfect Dewey Condo
Clean and cute condo right next to Rusty Rudder. This was the perfect place for a girls getaway. Walking distance to the beach. Comfy beds and sparkling clean bathrooms.

Great location for a family!
We have stayed at the Residence complex several times, but this was our first time renting this unit. The reviews had previously indicated that the property was a mess, but that was not the case. Yes, the floors were dirty, but we purchased an inexpensive swiffer and cleaned (left at the unit for future renters). Also, the interior doors would not stay open, so they constantly closed, which was a pain in the master bathroom while getting ready.
While the kitchen was not as equipped as homeowner-owned units, it had everything to cook basic meals. There was some noise from the unit above, but that is expected to be in a multi-level condo complex.
All in all, there was great access to the beach/bay and the newly constructed Light House restaurant.

We chose this VRBO because it offered the best location for our families. The condo was sparse on kitchen accessories such as cooking utensils and offers 2 chairs on balcony for a 6 person rental. Also, bring your blankets and extra pillows. The Hyatt Place building is a maze and #’d parking spots inside garage is also a puzzle.

We would stay again, we would just come more prepared.

We loved having a water view and being close to the beach and all Dewey has to offer. The Hyatt is a higher end building for sure, but very confusing to navigate. We had a family member rent a room in the hotel and had a very difficult time figuring out how to get her to our condo to spend time together; we finally realized she needed to leave the hotel building and come around and enter the condo wing through the garage. I know they are separate entities but there should be at least one simple way to connect. It would also be nice overall for the building if there was a loading zone near the entrance of each condo floor from the parking garage. We brought a lot of beach gear and groceries; it took quite a while to unload and then pack up walking back and forth from the unit to the assigned parking spaces. Overall, we had an incredible stay and the unit was everything we could have imagined and more. Being regular visitors renters Dewey, we weren't prepared for the logistics of the Hyatt building.

The Residence at Lighthouse Cove

Great location and amenities
We had a wonderful family trip with two kids ages 1.5 and 5. The location 1 block from the beach was so convenient! The condo was new with comfortable beds. The main reason we chose to stay in the Hyatt Residences was access to indoor pool for the kids because we came mid-May when the weather wasn’t a guarantee and we’re glad we did - they had a blast in the pool. They were filling the outdoor pool at the time but it wasn’t open yet - it looks like an awesome pool with a large wade-in section.
We still give this place 5 stars because overall it was a great stay, but a few minor issues: this is not owner used (assuming builder-owned) so it’s more like a hotel than a typical vacation condo - i.e., bare bones kitchen supplies, no cleaning supplies (there was hand dish soap but no scrubber, no dishwasher soap, no hand soap, paper towels, etc), linens (we were luckily told the day before to bring blankets/covers too because the ones are just for show), no TP (which was surprising and we had to buy immediately upon checking in). The bay-side portion of the building is still under construction just a few units down the hall and construction view from the pool and covering bay beach (honestly didn’t bother us much, but might be important to some - construction for the day started by 7 am but we were up already). It’s a great place but we’d have appreciated more basic supplies, especially because the cleaning fee was twice that at other locations we considered.
