Nestled in Beech Mountain, this charming house for R 4,126 per night is a great option for your next break. Walk to the slopes as this house is situated almost ski-in-ski-out! Detach yourself from work and balance your life in the high country. This house sits at over 4000 feet making it cool even in the summer months! We are excited to offer this home year round for your enjoyment and look forward to hearing about great times!! It sleeps 10 with a master suite, full kitchen, dining, and 1/2 bath on the main floor. There are three Bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a utility room and an extra room downstairs perfect for lounging or getting ready for the slopes. Enter the house via short flight of steps down from the road, notice the open concept kitchen, dining, and living space featuring wall to ceiling tongue & groove, butcher block counters, and a hemlock live edge breakfast bar. The large dining room table seats 8 people and the breakfast bar another 4 making the main space easily house 12 people during meal times. The spacious kitchen has ample counter room and is outfitted with all essential needs including a dishwasher. The Master Suite on main level has a cozy king size bed and a full bathroom. This provides a large private space that can be used to get away. Downstairs you will find 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and a bonus room accessed by the spiral staircase inside or from the outdoor stairs on the deck. The bunk room has 4 twin size beds and located close to the second full bathroom. This bathroom is shared with the 2nd bedroom which has a full size bed and plenty of space for your belongings. The downstairs suite is spacious, has a full size bed, flat screen TV, access to the lower level deck, and a private bathroom (unless your friends shack up in the bonus room next door). The bonus room is a large multi use space. Bring your air mattresses if you need some extra beds. Finally, attached to the extra room is the utility room with the washer and dryer. Outside is a large two tier deck with a grill and a 4 person table. and various seating. The upper level deck has some pretty great views year round. Personally, this is our favorite spot in the whole house. Flat gravel parking is on-site with space for 4 vehicles. The whole house is open to guests. Please enjoy responsibly. Several notes: 1. We have an EXTERIOR motion activated surveillance device located and monitoring the front entry. This is the only camera on the property. 2. Wedling Weg is a paved road that is plowed. Parking is also flat making this home easy to access during the winter months. 4x4 is always recommended in the winter months when coming up the main road to Beech Mountain as the road is steep and winding, but the roads are well maintained/plowed during this time. 3. Access to the slopes is a short walk on Skiview Lane. This road is accessed via a short connecting trail from the back of the house to Skiview ln. Navigation of stairs IS required! Said stairs with snow on them can be slippery. 4. If you don't want to walk, the long way to Beech Mountain Ski Resort is a 3 minute drive. Though the parking lot at the resort my be a longer walk then walking from the house! We are available within normal business hours 7 days a week via Phone, Text, or Email. House was clean and exactly as described. Amazing views of mountain vistas from the whole upstairs. Lots of toys for kids, my son was obsessed with the play kitchen in the bunkbed room. Easy communication with owner who helped get everything sorted when we checked in. Very close to all the restaurants on Beech Mountain and a couple of cute little trails the kids loved. We also checked out the Woolly Worm Festival in Banner Elk, hiked Linville Falls and took a spin on the alpine coaster at the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster. Thank you!

My family and I were in search of a holiday getaway after a rough year, and this property did not disappoint! The location was perfect, a 2min walk to Beech Mtn. Slopes, plenty of space and beautifully decorated. We stayed during the blizzard over Christmas and the house was incredibly comfortable, which was good because the windchill was -41F and we were snowed in for almost 2 days. David (one of the hosts) was incredibly responsive and positive, and made us feel very welcome. The home came with a guidebook that detailed everything we needed to know, from Wi-Fi access (which was FAST) to local restaurant recommendations. I can’t speak highly enough about the whole experience, and would absolutely recommend this property and these hosts to anyone.

My wife and I rented the house for six weeks and had friends and family visit during our stay. The house is great for couples or single friends or families. Beds are comfortable and configured well 1 king room, 2 queen rooms and 1 bunk room with 4 beds. The kitchen has been renovated nicely and is well stocked including good pans and knives and utensils. The gas grill on the deck is new. Bathrooms downstairs have been nicely updated, but the upstairs master bathroom could use a little refresh, it’s serviceable and has great water pressure. The owner, David is very responsive, thoughtful and accommodating. He quickly addressed issues and proactively let us know the dishwasher had to be replaced the week we were arriving, in order to help with the inconvenience he had disposable plates and utensils delivered to house for us to use until the dishwasher replacement was completed. The house is very close to the Beech Mountain ski area, town and our favorite, the Emerald Mountain Outback for hiking. This is a really nice Carolina mountain town.

We had a great time. The house is in a great location on Beech mountain with great views. The beds are comfortable, and when we were relaxing, we were comfortable in the lazyboys! We had everything we needed to have dinner in one night. The rest of our trip we stayed busy with a visit to the Alpine Coaster, Grandfather Mountain, and Blowing Rock. We also took a day trip to Damascus, VA to ride the Virginia Creeper trail (highly recommend!!) It was about 1.5 hours away. Gorgeous fall views among the leaves. We will consider staying hefe again if we come back to ski sometime.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the house. Family dinners on the deck with magnificent views of the mountains, walks to the ski valley and occasional ride to the top in a chairlift, having a movie time on a rainy day helped create unforgettable memories. The house has everything you need to feel at home but if you forgot to pack something, Amazon and Instacart delivery work fine. Having high speed internet was a big benefit too as my husband and I had to work remotely full time during our 5-week stay. I also want to highlight hospitality and great communication with the owner as he went above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need and answer any questions.

This home provided the perfect getaway from the summer heat and traffic of the big city. With four bedrooms and a game room, there was plenty of room for our two families. The deck provided a nice spot for grilling and watching the run set behind the mountains. The home was as pictured. The kitchen was stocked with all the items necessary for preparing our group meals. Even in August, windows open and the window fans in the bedroom made the temperature quite comfortable.It was an easy and relaxing stay!

The cabin is very large and spacious, has a beautiful view, and was the perfect size for 10 guests. The kitchen had everything needed for 10 guests to cook food everyday. We never ran out of hot water during our stay and temps ranged anywhere from 8 degrees to 34 degrees during our stay. All in all it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

We rent houses all over the country fairly often. This one was a family vacation with children. The house was a great location to the slopes It was advertised for 10 people to sleep and we had seven. Three children under the age of 10. We were only able to find six towels in the whole house. While the Beds felt clean and were comfortable I can’t say that for other parts of the house. There was one toilet paper roll in each bathroom, the floors have not had a really good cleaning in the corners especially the bathrooms because there was hair and dirt behind the doors. The trashcan Smelled and had brown stuff in the bottom under the bag. There was only one kitchen trash bag for the whole weekend we had to buy more. The microwave was left with whatever greasy mess from the people prior to us. The kitchen dishes and utensils were scattered in all of the cabinets and very unorganized. We had a great time at the house and thought it was set up pretty decent. We did not understand why you cannot use the fireplace in the wintertime but there was a big do not use sign taped to the front of it. That is part of the draw to come to the mountains in the winter. The hot water heater may have an element going out. There was only one hot water heater for a two-story winter home. The hot water ran out within five minutes of each shower which took the household a lot longer to get ready because we had to wait for hot water I hope this will help review will make it perfect for the next guests.
