Nestled in Roslindale, this lovely condo for R 3,673 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Newly renovated 2 bedroom Apartment. The apartment has amazing natural lighting and spacious (1180 Sq feet of living space). Private Front and Rear Balconies . Full Kitchen, with Microwave, Toaster, Coffee maker, Dishwasher, full size Refrigerator, so you are welcome to use during your stay. The apartment is located in a 3 family building. The apartment is private and located on the 3rd Floor. You will be the only ones staying in there, it is not being shared with anybody. I don't live in this building, but my mother lives on the first floor. I live 5 minutes away from the apartment, so, feel comfortable to ask if you need any assistance, you won't have any problems as I will be just a phone call away. SOME OF THE AMENITIES - Fresh Linens and Towels - Wireless Internet Access - Hair Dryer - Iron and Ironing Board - Shampoo - Conditioner - Body Wash - Baby stroller, baby bed - Parking is included -2 minutes walk to the bus stop -10 minutes to Forest Hill Station (by bus $1.70 per person one way) children under 11 is free by train $2.75 per person) -Laundromat, groceries stores, pharmacies are within walking distance. Places to visit that are near the Apartment, The Arnold Arboretum 2 miles, Jamaica Pond 3 miles. Roslindale Village its only 3 to 5 minutes drive, where you will find very nice restaurants. Brigham and Women Hospital 4.32 miles (11 minutes by car) Boston Children Hospital 4.59 miles (14 minutes by car) 5 miles to Fenway park, Home of the Red Sox 5 miles to Northeastern University 6 miles to Harvard University 6.26 miles to Boston University And the most attractive place to visit, is the Freedom Trail, which is located in Downtown Boston. It is only 8 miles away from the Property. Boston is one of North America's oldest cities. Its beginning date back to 1630. Take a walk into history along the Freedom Trail, starting at the Boston Common and ending at the USS Constitution. APARTMENT LAYOUT BEDROOMS -Queen Size Bed (sleep 2) -Full Size Bed (sleep 2) and there is a pull out twin sofa bed (sleep 1) -Both Bedrooms have USB chargers -Apartment is comfortable for 6 people. KITCHEN Full DINNING AREA Dinette Set (6 people) LIVING ROOM 60" Smart TV Sofa Bed (sleep 1) BATHROOM Shower CANCELLATION POLICY Bookings are done with the "strict cancellation policy which means that there is a 50% refund up until 1 week prior to arrival and all cancellations should be done through VRBO/HOMEAWAY. This being said, if we manage to re-rent the place the nights you have cancelled, we can give a bigger refund to you than what the strict cancellation policy dictates. The earlier you cancel the bigger the chance that we will find other guests. This cancellation policy supersede any other one showing on any listing by VRBO/HOMEAWAY. REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT: There is a refundable security deposit which it will be put back in your credit card 48 hours after your check out, provided that no damages were done to the premises, it might take 5 to 10 business days to show on your credit card statement.

I came to Boston for my mother’s funeral and I had to come early to get things organized. This was a perfect location to get to run all my errands and for family to come visit. Nelson was so friendly and accommodating- the perfect host.

The place was spacious, clean, quiet, safe! Comfy beds, full kitchen, and a few supplies to get you started was a nice perk ( coffee, juice, milk, cereal).
It was so easy to get into town, bus stop just a block to the left, hop on the 32 bus to Forest hills station and take the train into town for the day. Couldn't be happier with the place we chose!

Very clean, had all the implements we needed to eat at the flat when we needed to. The 32 bus came to a stop very nearby and was an easy way to the Orange Line's Forest Hill station. From there, all of Boston was at our fingertips.

These accommodations were perfect for our homeschool Boston trip. The bus stop is only a few feet down the sidewalk which will take you to the subway. From there its about a 30 minute ride into cental boston. Very convenient. The home is suitable. A simple kitchen allows for basic cooking. A grocery store is only a few minutes away. The beds were comfortable. My only issue was the smell of marijuana (which is apparently legal in Boston). There are multiple tenants in the house the smell would seep through into where we were staying and it was unpleasant, especially with a child. That being said, the hosts were apologetic about that. The unit itself is non-smoking. We enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic two bedroom apartment with plenty of room for our family of 5. Everything you need in the kitchen, comfortable living room, balcony overlooking street. Within 5 minute drive of the forest hills subway station. Many grocery options within a short walk. Host was very pleasant to deal with. Some street noise, but with air conditioning on it didn’t bother us at all. Would stay here again.

My family and I stayed here on a family vacation to Boston. The location is close to the bus stop that you can then get anywhere you would like to go in the city via subway. We went to a Red Sox game, the Boston Common, and multiple other places for just a few bucks.
The house is up 3 flights of stairs, with a balcony, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a pullout couch. It has a large, beautiful kitchen table that everyone could sit around and eat and play games. All kitchen utensils and needs are supplied. When we arrived there was juice, milk, bagels and coffee for us to enjoy.

This was a beautiful property and close to Boston. We really enjoyed our stay. We were here to explore Boston. The only little problem we had, which is not the owner’s fault was that the bus line wasn’t running regularly when we were there. The home is beautiful and had everything we could possibly need. Thanks for the extra groceries! So kind of you!!!

The location is very convenient, and the hosts left everything you would need to be comfortable during the stay. Well equipped and very comfortable. The host is immediately communicative and checked in that I arrived okay. Street parking is surprisingly easy to find (move your car to opposite side Monday nights). It is a main street so you can hear traffic noise. The hosts provide ear plugs for those who need it.
I would absolutely stay here again.

During our week trip to Boston, this lovely holiday apartment gave us a home away from home.
We landed in the middle of the night and thanks to the combination lock, a warm bright apartment with basic supplies for the first breakfast awaited us.
We were blown away each day by the colorful rooms and the lovely details and amenities.
The well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. There were plenty of dishes and pots. Whether it was the coffee maker or the dishwasher, all were high quality, well maintained appliances.
There were cozy beds with lots of pillows, plenty of towels in all colors, provided earplugs, but you do not need them. Even though the house is located on a busy street, it is not noisy. You can find a parking place in front of the house or in a nearby side street.
A bus leaves 100 meters away, which takes you to the subway, which takes you to the city center. By car it takes 20 minutes.
The friendly landlord responded quickly to email requests and always offered his help.

The heat was set to 79 degrees when we arrived so it was a bit toasty, but otherwise a great stay. Don’t be scared by the exterior of the building which could use some new paint, the interior is very clean!

This was a fun quirky place for our family to stay. We had to look up the age of the building - built in 1920 - very cool. No complaints. Owners were very attentive to our arrival, which was late, and providing first day breakfast was greatly appreciated.

We came to the east coast for the happy occasion of our oldest child graduating from Physician Assistant school in CT and made a vacation out of it! Four of us traveled to Boston to explore and we loved this VRBO! It is very close to the southern most stop on the orange line of the "T" and we had took the train in to the city everyday. The accommodations were perfect for us. Even though it was hot outside, the A/C units kept the apartment very comfortable and there were fans to use as well. It was nice to be able to "spread out" a bit after being in hotels. Shopping was close, though I would advise having a car for convenience-2-3 min drive to train stop (plenty of parking there, $9 per day) and to grocery stores-less than 5 min from apartment. Overall great stay! Would certainly stay again.

Great stay! Brought my adult family back to see where we once lived and worked. Where my wife and I had met. To visit family and friends. Nelson was a great host very easy to communicate with. I hope we can come back and stay. I enjoyed having my coffee each morning on the front balcony. My kids enjoyed sitting out there and seeing and listening to the hustle and bustle of the city. We slept each night so well. It was such a great place to stay with the T so close. I can not Thank Nelson so much for allowing me to re-connect with my family in a safe wonderful apartment. It was a great home away from home.

Awesome Roslindale Location!
Beautiful space, beautiful owners! Very easy to book and a pleasure to stay! Only 20 minutes from the city, with many restaurants around for nights in. The bright colors and modern decor give this place a happy aura!!

My family of five enjoyed staying here. For a Boston place, this spot was very roomy and affordable. The host was extremely nice and quick to respond to communication. The host left a few snacks in the kitchen kitchen. Thank you for your hospitality!

Wonderful Stay
We had an amazing time at this location. It is within 30 minutes of downtown Boston but several great restaurants within walking distance. We traveled to a number of places in and around the Boston area and found it ideal to get in and out of the neighborhood without dealing with a great deal of traffic.
The hosts were incredible and have provided not only a great deal of information about the Boston area attractions but local attractions and restaurants as well.
Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Comfortable
This was a comfortable place to stay. There are two bedrooms of relatively equal size and one is a bit farther from the street which is the one I chose. There is some street noise as the place is on a busy street but I would not characterize the noise as a major issue. I am generally not a TV watcher but I am a golf fan and the US Open was happening so was a bit disappointed when I found out while there that there was no longer cable TV which
I was not alerted to in advance. The communication was good and fast from the owners. They also left some milk, eggs and beverages in the frog which was I nice touch. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Nice place outside of the city
When I first booked this place I thought It would have been to far from the Boston city center. It actually worked out for the best. Great place that can reach the city quickly using public transportation. The rental was well decorated and very homey. The hosts took great care of us!

This rental is spacious, but furnishings are well worn and mismatched. The beds were comfortable, and not terribly noisy for being on a busy street. The living room wasn't anywhere you'd want to spend time. Hosts are very responsive.

We have been to Boston five times and this was best place we have stayed. The owners were so quick to respond to any questions. They were very accommodating. The apartment is in a great location. So many local restaurants nearby. Easy access to public transportation. No complaints at all!

The apartment was clean, spacious, and conveniently located near Roslindale. We had a great couple of nights there.

Stayed here while attending Laver Cup in Boston. Easy enough to use transit to get to/from Boston and even at 12:30 am was able to get an Uber from the train station (Forest Hills).
Very quaint apartment on the top floor (3rd) walk up. Extremely clean throughout with a newly renovated bathroom. The beds were very comfy and provided us good sleep. There are window mount ac units in the bedrooms to keep the rooms comfortable for sleep. Nelson and Marlene also provided us with several bottles of water, tea, coffee, fresh fruit, cereal and milk, juice and yogurts in the fridge (a very welcome and thoughtful touch). Communication with Nelson was impeccable! He was always very quick to respond and accommodating, even at 12:30am one night when we came home to find my bedroom door locked and no key. Long story short, Nelson actually came over to the apartment to help me open the locked room.
Even though the building is on a busy street, it was surprisingly quiet. The neighborhood is not a high end area, but we felt safe and had no issues when walking around or taking the bus/train.
If you are looking for an affordable place, clean and comfortable you cannot go wrong with Nelson and Marlene’s.
