This 150+ ft. view is all yours at Maple Beach House! ~~~ not to mention your own beach area This Home-Away-From-Home is the place for your large gathering to spread out and relax. There is over 3,200 sq. ft. - and mostly on the main floor. Located on a secluded area of tranquil White Lake and only 5 minutes from the charming towns of Montague and sister-city, Whitehall, across the bridge. There are too many attractions nearby to mention – truly something for everyone! ~~~see our attached photos of just a sampling. Maple Beach House serves as an excellent home base featuring these highlights: --- New for 2023 - Central A/C! - 2 separate living rooms, joined by a large kitchen and dinette area (each with their own entry) - 3 Full Baths and the 2 upstairs bedrooms have their own sink and vanity area! - 5 very spacious bedrooms and a Den. Sleeps 16 in beds! ~~~ 2 additional Queen pullout sofas - Game room! Games with table for 4, plus 2 extra leaves Air (not just push) Hockey, Foosball, Pool, Ping Pong, and more We have two refrigerators. And the coffee maker brews ground and K-Cups. There is plenty of parking space, a circle drive and a 2 car garage.

Our family of 9 adults came here to celebrate with our parents their 65th wedding anniversary. Michigan is our favorite place to go and this home on White Lake did not disappoint! The lake view, deck, and comfortable layout of the home was perfect. We enjoyed the deck, the kayaks, bonfires, and a pontoon rental. As many have said, Lu Ann is extremely attentive & responsive.

The nine adults, two children, and two black lab sisters enjoyed a wonderful long Labor Day weekend. Perfect set-up in house, on deck, on lawn, on swings, on beach and in the water. I highly recommend this property.

Our family of 9 adults and 1 dog thoroughly enjoyed our time at the beach house. There was plenty of space to spread out and the thoughtful touches and amenities are plentiful (even for our dog!) We all slept very well each night.
We enjoyed taking turns cooking meals in the kitchen and eating together around the dining table. The deck, kayaks, dock, fire pit, view of the lake… all made for wonderful memories outdoors.
LuAnn is incredibly responsive and kind — I truly enjoyed my interactions with her. We’d certainly recommend this home for other families!

I hesitate to right a great review only because it was so wonderful we want to go back next year. While not a huge mansion this house is very well set up for families or even several couples. Great functional kitchen. Great big deck. We are outside all week. Nice sock and small Sand area. Water toys included. 12 of us we very comfortable. Lake Michigan is a short drive or boat ride.

Our family was unfamiliar with Michigan when planning our trip. We chose maple beach house because of the location on the lake and kid friendly yard. It was beautiful, quiet and very relaxing. The kids had plenty to keep them busy including the tree swing, game room, dock/lake and large yard (yard games and toys provided).
We used the fire pit every night. There were plenty of activities off the property as well, including, Lake Michigan beaches, sand dunes, dune rides, light house, eatery's, water park, etc. LuAnn was very responsive with answering questions and offering information. She made the planning of our family vacation simple and stress free. Her house was clean, very spacious and provided a lot of amenities. I highly recommend maple beach house for your stay!

This home has been carefully decorated with tasteful furnishings that make it a very comfortable and welcoming place! It is especially suitable for families with their own grown children, and grandchildren. We had 9 people, with plenty of room, and space to spread out when we were inside.
There were also comfortable gathering spaces, like the large dining table, and the family room and den. Bedrooms were nicely furnished. The towels and beach towels provided were of high quality, and plentiful.
In our experience of 12 years of vacationing, we have not found another vacation home with as many things provided in the kitchen, bath, and laundry! The owner was exceptionally good at communicating with us, and she provided several recommendations that made our stay even more memorable!
The sandy beach was large and heavily used by our children, along with a large, new rectangular pool (for splashing and playing in the water–rather than getting into the lake. The nearby beach on Lake Michigan was excellent for wading when the wind was low and the waves were safe.
The deck and swing were certainly enjoyed, and there were treasures to be discovered on the lake (think bald eagles and swans, as well as interesting properties). It was especially nice that we had the option to rent a pontoon boat for a day.
In our experience, this owner takes great care to provide an excellent vacation home for her guests. She regularly improves features, too, & worked to meet our needs!

My family fell in love with this property. The owner is amazing and you have everything you can need. Lots of space for my 17 family members. We got to spread out and have a mini section of the house. My kids/nieces/nephews were not bored with all the activities (kayak, fishing, beach, swimming, swinging, air hockey, foosball, pool, games, etc). This property is beautiful and you will not regret renting it for your families next getaway.

This house was the perfect setting for our lake getaway with family - very clean, absolutely beautiful and thoughtfully stocked with anything we could have wanted. The host went above and beyond my expectations with communication and making everything perfect for our stay. I couldn’t be happier with this experience.

There were 10 adults in our group and 9 children ranging from 3-16. Everyone found something to do and enjoyed the stay.

Had a family birthday party with 14 total for a long weekend. Kids had a blast fishing off the dock and had the weather would have been better there are a ton of water toys to use. New Weber grill was great and overall everyone had a great time. Would love to go back.

This property was very suitable for our family gathering. Within our family we had 5 small groups of 2 or 3 and each had their own space for sleeping. The living space was adequate even if the weather required inside only, but we had beautiful weather and spent most of our time outside on the huge deck, waterfront and play space for the kids, including the basement game area for all. LuAnn has made sure that the property is VERY well equipped with supplies and amenities well beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend this property for a large gathering and "memory making" fun!!

Our extended family had a terrific time. Plenty of space inside and outside for adults and kids. The two living rooms is a must for a large group like ours--a space for kids to watch their shows and the other for the adults. Plenty of dining space indoors and outdoors. Basement game room a hit with the teens and adults as well.

LuAnn our host was fabulous. Communicated during the year with any questions that I had. We were a large group; ranging in ages from 83 to 5 years old. The house and beach were nicely kept and we had a fabulous time. Thank you LuAnn you were a phenomenal hostess! We would stay at this property again!

Awesome house for extended family!
Not only was the location amazing, but the house was everything we hoped for from furnished, large outside deck, fire pit, swim pad and fishing dock! Inside large kitchen well equipped, dual living spaces and tasteful bedrooms/baths made vacation not only fun but lent room for relaxing!

Awesome Lake House!
We had an amazing week at Maple Beach House! The location is very private, yet close to Montague and Lake Michigan, but we spent a majority of our trip at the property. We enjoyed the beach area, views of White Lake, backyard activities, and the spacious deck. There are plenty of things to do at Maple Beach House as well as there are a lot of places to visit in the area. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed to make meals at the house. There was plenty of space for 16 of us to enjoy a comfortable vacation and simply hang out.
LuAnn is a great host, and made sure that we were comfortable, and enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend Maple Beach House.

Amazing Location
My extended family of 17 stayed at the house for a week in early June. The house was great and the location right on the lake is beautiful. We used the tubes and kayaks multiple times as well as the fire pit every night - wood provided! It is only a mile to the town of Montague and there are sidewalks the entire way so we were able to walk there and back. It was a wonderful trip and we plan on returning!

Our vacation at the Montague house was fantastic. The property was beautiful, the house had everything we needed with plenty of room and the owner, LuAnn is simply amazing. Six bedrooms! Two living rooms! All nice!!
We had a great time!! The home was perfect inside and out!! From the nice large deck/ large private waterfront to the really nice six bedrooms, two living rooms, three bathrooms, gameroom and more!! LuAnn was always available to answer any questions we had. We can't wait to come again next year!

LuAnn was a great host! She was very responsive and gave great local recommendations. The property was huge and laid out well so everyone could be together but still have personal space when needed (because family….). The yard was great for games, the sand area near the water was a huge hit with the kids and the view of the lake from the porch was beautiful. LuAnn also provided firewood for the fire pit which was a huge plus; you don’t see that often. The lake was great, but I would definitely recommend renting a boat if later in the season, due to normal algae and weeds near the shore line (however, LuAnn was working on installing a new system in the water at the property to help with the algae and weeds which I think is going to be a great addition for future visitors). The boat was perfect and you’re able to dock it right at the property, so we rented it for multiple days. Once past the shoreline the water was clear and great for swimming and tubing. The splash pad was a great addition as well!The property was also very clean and had everything you could think of as far as amenities go, including multiple beach towels and cookware. Two refrigerators for our large group was also a huge plus. I would definitely recommend LuAnn’s lake house!
