Located in Denali, this attractive house for R 6,930 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Property is located on a small float plane sized lake off the Denali Highway on a private drive. Enjoy fishing, boating or just relaxing at your own boat launch and beach on this 3 acres gem. After your daily venture, relax on the deck, barbecue or jump in the hot tub. No matter what you do, you will always find yourself gazing in awe of the scenery. Prime Berry picking, Wildlife viewing with hiking or strolling right out your door. 15 Miles to Carlo Creek, 20 miles to the Grizzly and Denali National Park, with Glitter Gulch just to the north. Activities include Rafting, Flight seeing, Hiking, Northern lights(mid August-Mid September), Fishing, Hunting, dog sledding, the 135 mile Denali Highway or Denali National Park. Local guides and tours available or self guided. You will not be disappointed!!!

There really are no worthy words for this place. If you plan to visit Denali you can rent this home with absolute confidence. It was positively immaculate and lacked nothing. My wife and I have VRBO’d all over North America and have never had a more satisfying experience.
We both work like dogs in the lower 48 and needed a place to decompress and see this part of Alaska. We found it with this rental. The only real mistake we made was not making the stay a couple of days longer. Thank you for your hospitality and the opportunity! When they open the entire road in the park in 2025 we will be back!

This was our first trip to Alaska traveling from Wisconsin, and we would definitely come back here if we’re fortunate enough to visit Alaska again. I would recommend staying here to anyone visiting this area.

We couldn't have picked a better house for our trip to Denali NP. The house and property were so beautiful. The house was comfortable, quiet, clean, and well appointed. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and going in the hot tub. We all slept so nicely on the comfortable beds. The view of Drasher Lake and the spruce trees with mountains in the background was so lovely. We loved watching the sunset from the hot tub! We found the drive to Denali beautiful too. We took the advice of the owners and ate at Prospectors Pizza, after a day on the Tundra Wilderness Tour in the Park, and both were great. We would not hesitate to come here again!

Beautiful views at this amazing lakeside home! So glad we had 2 nights here to relax and explore Denali National Park and Preserve. Great space for our family of four - very clean and comfortable as well. Would highly recommend this house to anyone traveling in the area. You will not be disappointed!

We loved our stay! The property is perfect in every way. We loved the remote setting and the beautiful views. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the whole place was spotless. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay near Denali!

What a beautiful, well appointed property. I have never staying in a rental house with a kitchen that had everything I could possibly need to make meals. Not only that, but the house was immaculate and so comfortable. Kelly, one of the owners, was quickly responsive to our questions. We even had the opportunity to meet Kelly, and he shared so many awesome stories about the game in the house. This was truly a trip of a lifetime, and we hope to return someday. The property was immaculate, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. We loved everything about it, from the Paddle boat on the lake below to looking at all the stuffed animals the owner had hunted himself. The owner was very personable and answered all our questions about his animals, beautiful cabinets and more. Would return in a heartbeat if we get to come back!

We had a group of 6 adults travelling up to visit Denali National Park. It was a great house with easy access to everything we were doing up in the area. The men loved the lake to do some fly fishing at night plus it made for a beautiful morning view. The kitchen made it very easy to make food for a crowd. We were a little worried about only having 1 bathroom for a large group but it was never an issue! Would highly recommend!

I couldn't sleep for two reasons. First, this house doesn't have two bedrooms, has only one. The one with two beds is not a bedroom, is an open loft above kitchen/dining with no door, you can hear everything that happens in the living/kitchen. Second, the loft has many windows most have no shades, the ones that do have, have white thin type, being up north, you have daylight in summer around the clock. If you are native maybe you don't care, but this is a rental that charges a lot. The only source of real heat allowed to use is in the basement for the basement, not really for the main house. The owner messages, calls and leave voices messages on average a couple times per day (exhausting). For a small house like this a 5 pm check in for a tired traveler is a bit of a stretch. The Denali Mountains looked more like pushed up dirt than beautiful. All in all we are glad our car had issues and left earlier after our third nigh (when we booked 4). Two nights at the most would have been enough for the area

The property had everything we needed and more. The views are incredible and the windows bring the beauty indoors. Our last night we heard the wolves calling to each other. It was amazing. Our only regret was a lack of time to enjoy the paddle boat, but we walked down to the water to watch the trout eat insects floating on the lake.

Everything it was listed to be, and more! The house is very well equipped. We were able to cook full meals in the house to perfection. The location is the best! We plan to come back just because of this home! Denali Park is not to bad too.

This house is beautiful. Open layout and large with big windows to see the gorgeous views. The beds are very comfy and they had all the necessities you need plus some. Kelly was very nice to check to make sure we got in ok since we had a little difficulty finding it. It’s about 30 min to the entrance to the park and then more restaurant options are north from there, so would recommend planning accordingly and consider cooking at the house, but they have everything you need. I wish we could stay here longer!

This property is flawless, a real gem and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was cloudy and rainy for much of our week there, but the bright and spacious great room and kitchen, overlooking the mountains and lake, became the centerpiece of our indoor activities. The host pays close attention to detail in every regard and the kitchen was well equipped and the place was spotless. The beds were all comfortable and we couldn't ask for better accommodations. The Denali region offers an abundance of places to visit and outdoor activities and we would recommend this retreat for anyone looking to get away and experience the solitude and grandeur of Alaska. Red-throated loons on the lake were a plus!

Cantwell, Alaska
This was my families first trip to Alaska and this home was perfect for the six of us. The home was located about 30 minutes from Denali NP. It overlooks a beautiful lake with tall spruce everywhere. The living room and kitchen area is huge, plenty of room to move around and seating for everyone. The beds are so comfortable and all queen size.
We even spent some relaxing time in the hot tub, admiring the scenic views from the front deck.
There is plenty of hiking nearby to Jack River too. I can’t say enough great things about this place. Thank you for allowing us to use your home for a few days.

Awesome Stay
Great Property and very convenient place to stay for Denali - not too far away to get there easily but far enough away to escape the activity around the park entrance. Our main regret about our stay is that we didn't stay longer to enjoy the property and the surrounding area (spent our days at Denali...). Would suggest if you are staying here to plan some extra time to enjoy the Canwell area as well. Will certainly look to stay here again on a future trip.

Stunning views!
We truly loved our stay at your home. The views were unbelievable, I woke up every morning and gazed out the windows. This home was plenty of enough room for our family of four. The drive to town was never an issue because the scenery was always breath taking. When we return to Alaska your home will be the first place we reserve. A bathroom lock would be a nice feature to add and maybe update the master bedroom mattress. For further guest, stop looking and rent this property now, you will not be disappointed!
