About this house rental
Comfortable "home away from home" for a relaxing holiday. Plenty of off-street parking for boats, Beach Hop cars etc. Great position for cycling/walking. Easy walk to Marina and Harbour. Flat easy-care section, with great lemon and feijoa trees, in season. Bedroom 1 has queen bed. Bedroom 2 has queen bed and set of single bunks. Bedroom 3 has king bed and single bed. Good-sized well-equipped kitchen and BBQ for easy holiday meals. 2 bathrooms. Large covered deck out the front for relaxing. Small covered deck out the back for morning coffees in the sun MINIMUM BOOKING - 2 NIGHTS BEACH HOP - $350 PER NIGHT (MINIMUM 4 NIGHTS) EASTER - $200 PER NIGHT (MINIMUM 3 NIGHTS) LABOUR WEEKEND - $200 PER NIGHT (MINIMUM 2 NIGHTS) ANZAC WEEKEND - $200 PER NIGHT. (MINIMUM 2 NIGHTS) XMAS - NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS - $350 PER NIGHT (MINIMUM OF 7 NIGHTS OVER THE STATUTORY HOLIDAY) REST OF JANUARY - $160 PER NIGHT (MINIMUM OF 7 NIGHTS IN JANUARY) We love staying here and hope you enjoy it as much as we do. We enjoyed our stay. The facilities were great; bedrooms were roomy and nicely made up, and having two bathrooms was a real bonus. The communication from the owner was excellent and the anzac cookies much appreciated! Wi-fi would have been a bonus but we survived. We would definitely stay again.

Exactly as advertised! Super easy correspondence. Clean and well equipped. Lots of great beaches and hikes in the area. We would definitely recommend this place.

A really comfortable, cozy, classic kiwi bach that easily housed our family of 5 adults and a baby. We were due to stay right around the time of serious rain/flooding in the area that had closed lots of roads in and Vicki could not have been more helpful, with clear communication on the status of our journey and even offered some flexibility on our travel dates if needed. Thankfully it wasn't needed and we got to spend our time exploring Whangamata and sitting on the very generous sized covered deck having dinner and hanging out while listening to the rain, birds and cicadas.
Very conveniently just around the corner from a supermarket and about 5-10 minutes walk to the beach, this bach was perfect for us. There was even a tub of home-made anzac cookies to greet us!
I will definitely be looking to see when I can come back. Thanks again Vicki for a great stay!

Great Value property with plenty of room for both of our families and great outdoor deck with extra seating.
Nice quiet street just a quick walk to supermarket and not too far into town still or warf.
Had a nice homely feel with heaps of extras, including kitchen well equipped, plenty of towels, games, movies and books. Movies were handy as weather didn't play part the whole time so a few of these got watched days and nights:)
Vicky gave good instructions to find place and happy to answer any questions and also bakes the best Anzac biscuits which were gobbled up on arrival:)

The house was great and fully equipped with everything you would need for a relaxing holiday. Vicky the host was great to communicate with. Short walk to town and marina.

This place has all you could need and more. Kids loved choosing a DVD from the extensive collection, scooting on the driveway and the front deck was a favourite resting spot for all. Great communication, super friendly and helpful..and the Anzac bikkies were divine. Would absolutely recommend to all and hope to stay again. Many thanks 😊

We created some amazing memories over our short stay! We will be back again and again and again. Nice and quiet neighbourhood and a short walk or drive to the beach and shops. Wonderful inside and out!

Had a great few days at Whangamata. Vicki made sure we had everything we needed at the house including a freshly made batch of delicious anzac biscuits, and was happy for us to contact her if we had any questions.
House is in a nice quiet street and close to everything.
Highly recommended to anyone thinking of staying at Whagamata.

Great, lots of room well setup with books and games galore. Lots of crockery etc lovely deck space the beds were comfortable and the location was handy to the shops etc. We would definitely stay there again.

The Bach was beachy and had everything we needed. Just the CD player was not working. Enjoyed the deck to read. Equipped for adults and children.

Wonderful "home" not "bach"
I have never seen a beach house so well stocked with books, CDs, DVDs, cooking equipment and implements. Only thing wrong we did not know how to work the stovetop (I believe now you have to have a pot on it to get it to work) - an induction type. Nor the microwave. So some detailed instructions would have been a help, but othwerwise no complaints. We had friends come over from Tauranga for 2 nights as well and they were also impressed, are very interested in booking it for their extended family in future. Very impressed.

It had everything you could ever need (including a range of pantry staples, books, CDs, toys and games), and a wonderful deck for lounging and having dinner in the evening sun. Was a lovely experience as there was almost everything you would need. Lovely to find pantry items, fridge sauces and herbs and spices.

Whangahilton. great wee home from home
brilliant place to relax. not too close to beach but meant it was nice and quiet. only 10 minutes stroll to town.
excellently presented by the owner who was only too happy to communicate about any issues.
easy section and parking for a boat was one of our requirements, this was a breeze.

Great place to relax and unwind
The bach is located in a quiet cul de sac so perfect for the silent seekers looking to lounge on the front porch to read a book or to have a snooze if not carving the surf on the beautifull Whangamata beach. Recommend to bring scooters if you have kids. Awesome skate park about 5 min walk. Great bakery also a hop away. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed dining outside every night. Thank you Vicky.

Great kiwi bach
Great value for money. Small but cosy with everything you need for a great beach holiday. The garage gives extra room for storage. Deck out the front and a covered area out the back, both with tables and chairs meant we had options for outdoor dining depending on the direction of the wind and sun. We loved our stay at the 'Hilton".
