Really easy access to everything. Princeville is a beautiful area for morning walks/runs with views of the beach. The house had everything we needed, we cooked all are meals in it

Clean and quite but our unit 105a backs up to the main road thru Princeville and the noise from the traffic was to much, we went to the pool area and it was quite there. We just love the Princeville area it is easy to get around from there. We would stay again but get a condo away from the road.

This place was very clean, the layout is very nice. It’s next to a main road in Princeville, but it really isn’t that loud. The pool area is very nice and the grounds are well kept.
Could us an upgrade on the living room furniture.

Super cute and very clean! Will definitely come back and will be recommending to friends and family!

Nothing fancy. Clean. I do have to say that when you first walk into the condo there is a scent of smoke left over from past guests that must have smoked in the condo. It doesn’t bother you once you’re inside the living space, it’s just noticeable when you walk in from the outside. We were very active and hardly in the unit and it was just fine and clean for sleeping!

It was recently updated and in a good location. The shower water was a little cool but I probably didn’t know how to work it. I would absolutely stay here again. I saw the comments about road noise. I experienced some In the daytime road noise but not much and almost none at night.

We had an amazing stay in this property! It was very clean, well stocked, comfy bed, and plenty of linens and towels. The location is great. 10 out of 10. We will no doubt rent this place again!

We have stayed in some of most beautiful places in the world, and I would rate this the highest. Not only was is gorgeous and clean, but homey, private, and wonderful to come home to at night. It had every amenity we could possibly ask for and more, and we were able to get everywhere on the island we could possibly want to go.

Place is clean and up to par. The people that live in the Sandpiper do not like renters. Most were mean to us. I asked a lady at the pool for a restaurant and she nastily said to Google it and told my son he couldn’t use a tube. The neighbors were up until 3am behind us, drunk, drinking and cursing. They were walking around our outside rental and my kids were scared because how loud and abrasive they were. I actually had to barracade my back door because we felt they would try to come in. I would never recommend Sandpiper. Vacassa is a great service but this property should be called the crack piper. Do not stay here…..ever.

I love that it has a full kitchen as going out to eat for every meal is expensive and time consuming. It’s a small place, but has everything you need and is perfect for two. As other reviews mentioned, it is by a busy road and can get a little noisy. We closed all the shutters each night could still hear the cars coming by and heavy rain. But we were so tired from all the fun stuff we did that we slept through it pretty well. The adjacent “B” condo may be a little quieter because I don’t think the bedroom faces the street, but not sure.
On a separate note, we went in November which is the start of their “winter” season. Being our first stay in Kaua’i, we were unaware that the north shore is more rough in the winter and the tide is often too dangerous to get in the water. It rained a ton during our trip, causing some adventure places to close for a couple days because of flash flood danger. We found ourselves driving to the south or west part of the island all but one day we were there for better weather and safer conditions. This does not reflect on my review of the condo, I just would choose to stay here more in the summer months next time. The condo is great and if you want to be close to the north shore and all there is to do up there, it’s a great deal.

This place was squeaky clean! Felt like home as soon as you walked in. Everything was very organized from kitchen utensils to bath towels. It has a full kitchen for when you want to stay in and cook instead of eating out every night. The bathroom was nice and clean with a decent sized shower. The only thing I would say was that some nights you could hear cars driving up and down the road which could wake light sleepers. But that didnt really bother us since were heavy sleepers, especially after a full day in in the sun. Overall, this place is great if you want a place on the Northshore away from most of the crowds. Would definitely consider staying again. Thank you!

Excellent Condo with Great Access to North Shore Sights!
My husband and I were very pleased with our stay at the Sandpiper. The condo itself was very clean and had everything we needed—fresh towels, linens, equipped kitchen for cooking (not much in terms of condiments/spices FYI), washer/dryer, dishwasher, hair dryer and some basic cleaning supplies (soap, dishsoap, etc). The beach chairs provided were great to have! There were boogie boards too, though we never used them. Some fun movie options left in the owner's collection meant for some nice nights in as we cooked and cuddled up for a movie. Pool, hot tub and BBQ area were great to have, though we found ourselves mostly at the beach and after happy hour & showers, usually missed the early closing time for using the BBQ at 8:30pm. Family-friendly complex and other guests were very pleasant. Felt safe and private all at the same time.
Only negative comment would be that the condo is right on a main street that while quiet at night, you can really hear the traffic drive by first thing in the morning. The frogs take some getting used to, and the roosters are up early. I used earplugs but got used to it after a few days. The condo has open slats for airflow. I was hesitant about the lack of air conditioning, but actually found it a really nice temperature as the air flow was good and with the fans going I had no problem sleeping from being hot. Bed was comfy too! Could use more pillows though, as there was only 1 for each of us.
The location was great being only a short distance from the Princeville shopping centre for groceries, liquor store and necessities, along with happy hour at Tiki Iniki and Italian at Piazza. We also walked (20 min) to the Hanalei Bay Resort for their nightly live music and dinner. The area has many lookouts and is about a 10 minute drive to Hanalei Bay—an adorable little Hawaiian town on the North Shore with lots of eating options and the gorgeous bay for swimming and lazing on the beach. Within Princeville, we visited Hideaways Beach (twice it was so great!!) for snorkeling (rent equipment in Hanalei Bay), as well as Queen's Bath (get there early as very limited parking, but people cycle through about every 30 min).
Overall, really happy with our stay. Thank you for the use of your lovely condo!

Room was clean and had everything except toaster and rice cooker. Dissappounted that unit was next to main highway. Road noise made it very difficult to sleep.
