-PLEASE READ BOOKING REQUIREMENTS BELOW- When booking I do require Friday and Saturday to be booked together. This means you cannot check-out on a Saturday or a Friday. Friday/Saturday must be booked together and check-out on Sunday. If you plan on booking a holiday, please do not check out on a holiday. Founded in 1972, Northstar has been delivering unparalleled experiences for all ages and abilities. Acknowledged by Travel + Leisure as the "premier family destination," Northstar is a place that makes guests feel at home. The mountain and village includes an elite ski school, world-class mountain biking, shopping, find dining and family friendly activities. No bbq on deck due to restrictions by placer fire but you can reserve a bbq in npoa or use them at northstar. Rec Center Summer hours ($10 pp): Main Facility: 7:00am – 9:00pm NPOA Office: 8:00am – 4:00pm; Lap Pool: 7:00am – 8:00pm; Gym: 7:00am – 8:45pm; Spas: 7:00am – 8:45pm; Main Pool: 9:00am – 7:30pm; Bear Paw Provisions: 11am – 6:00pm; Kiddie Pool: 9:00am – 7:30pm; *Game Room: 7:00am – 8:00pm *Adult Supervision (18+) required after 4:00pm Transportation dial a ride is scheduled to operate daily during the ski season, 8am-10pm weekdays, and 7:30am-10pm weekends and Holiday periods (as it historically has). I love pets! 95% of the people who book this listing do bring pets with them. However, I do ask that if you plan on bringing your best friend to please do not use Silver Strike as your kennel. Bringing your pet on vacation means that you bring them with you & Truckee is VERY dog friendly. Animals can get anxious being in a new location & there is a greater chance of accidents. I also ask that if you have to leave them unattended, you bring a their home or kennel with you. This keeps them safe and from causing damage if stressed. Guests that think that this policy is not pet friendly are welcome to book elsewhere. As an owner who visits often, guest experience is very important to me but also making sure the investment I made is protected so others can enjoy it. $200 pet fee. Please select pets during your booking. Perfect location for our week in Truckee. Lovely quiet location, comfortable and quaint. East check in and out. We would certainly recommend to family and friends. Thank you for your hospitality.

Loved the property, does get a little cold on the first level where the bedrooms are. House/condo was clean and the owners were very thoughtful. We had our two dogs with us & they left bones & treats for them. Would definitely stay here again!

The condo exceeded expectations. It was as advertised and well stocked with special touches - the owners also included a basket of dog treats, microwave popcorn, etc. The guidebook app had everything you wanted to know about the condo and the surrounding area. Our stay was a great experience! We will go back.

Goods; location perfect, easy access to structure, around the home cleaning every day.
Home it self is ok, cleaning is normal, Heater working not ok. Temperature on second floor ok but on first floor to cold, Second, every night

We had a fabulous time staying at this condo. It was clean and cozy! We spent thanksgiving weekend here and enjoyed the warmth of the fire and coziness of the home. The owners have gone out of there way to provide many amenities for our use. They even had treats for my service dog! We will definitely return in the future.

Pros - Really love the look and layout of upstairs kitchen, dinning, living room area with high vaulted ceiling and warm fireplace. The tall wonderful Xmas tree was a nice surprise that added to the warm environment of the room. Northstar Village was within 10 minutes walk via nice trail through the woods. The unit was well supplied with cooking/eating utensils, towels, and bed linens. Though we did not use the BBQ, it appeared to be well stocked with propane (2 bottles). Showers were nice and warm quickly, despite the temperature lows below 30 degrees outside! Cons - Closets had limited space available to hang jackets & clothes. 2nd Bathroom had no counterspace & tiny sink enough for hand wash. Internet connectivity was poor for laptop use.
Overall we really enjoyed the ambiance and stay, we would love to come back again.

My family had a lovely time, the host was super helpful and welcoming. The place is in a great location and close to a variety of different hiking trails and restaurants, would definitely love to come back!

Family Time……
First let me say this, the internet wasn’t working the entire time. Thank goodness because we spent more time as a family hanging out. Blessing in disguise. Beautiful space, comfortable, a bit too warm upstairs but just stay outdoors at the pool until it cools. Truckee is close, Kings Beach is close….. Can’t say enough. I am a pretty big clean freak and it was wonderful. Please don’t expect no dog hair because they allow dogs. They do a great job of cleaning the dog hair. Remember, the pool and hot tub are amazing… Great location and having North Star and it’s restaurants is huge… We will be back. We also brought our dog Otis who is not small and he had a great time….

Located just minutes from Kings beach, condo is quiet, safe, clean and amazingly well stocked with anything you may need during your stay.
The condo has no AC but there are fans and that is enough as it is quite cool even during the day.
Overall - we enjoyed the stay tremendously and will be back!

3092 Silver Strike at Northstar
The property was well situated near Northstar skiing. The shuttle service to and from the mountain was fantastic. The upstairs kitchen and living area were great, well-appointed, and very functional. Check out was fast and easy. The beds were very comfortable. We would definately go back again.

Great Tahoe Getaway
This place was great for our family. We stayed a week before Thanksgiving 2021, and a beautiful Christmas tree was already up and wonderfully decorated. I cooked a lot during our trip and one of the reasons I booked this condo was because of the kitchen.
Have you ever paid decent money to stay at a place, only to get there and they don’t have even basic cooking equipment or supplies? Or that the cooking utensils are essentially non-functional and downright gross? Well, that is not this condo. This little slice of heaven was one of the best stocked and appointed homes we’ve rented. Everything worked and was immaculate. Plus, the layout of the kitchen allows you to prep food and watch TV or participate visually in activities. Many kitchens are small and isolationist, but you will not find that here. Preparing meals in this condo sparks joy. They also have stocked family board games, access to Netflix, a lovely fireplace, and charming dining table. The fact that this is a pet friendly rental is also a huge bonus.
Speaking of bonuses, we’ve never seen a rental with so many fun extras awaiting guests. There’s a little something in each room with a note. Was quite the welcomed surprise, and I think a wonderful way to make guests feel appreciated. Check in and out was a breeze. Beds were very comfortable. Multiple balconies. All in all, this is a star of a two bedroom, two full bath condo. Highly recommend! Book this place; you will be happy.

This place has everything you need. It's extremely well stock, with very nice appliances. I had to reach out to the property owner, and they responded within a minute. The communication was great! One of the best parts of this property is that it's dog-friendly. We all had a great time up there and can't wait to come back. Definitely would recommend this property.

The condo was clean and very comfortable for our family. We traveled with two teenagers and two pups. We slept well every night in comfortable beds and the kitchen was well stocked. We were within walking distance to the village and the amenities were fantastic with pools, hot tubs and Gym. A great location!

Weekend Getaway
Hilary’s place is amazing. We have stayed at Northstar several times and this was hands down the nicest unit we have rented. The unit is updated, the kitchen was fully stocked with great appliances and everything you need. It is a super short walk to the village and the rec center. We will definitely be renting this unit again in the future.

We love this property - well equipped, clean and a great location. It is close to the the village and rec center - 7 min walk and super close to the shuttle. The location is hard to beat. We will.be back for sure
