The location is quite good, just south of Werstener Dorfstraβe (U71/U74/U77/U79/U83) and the street is quiet. The WiFi worked well for us. The fridge and cutlery, plates etc were handy although the absolute minimum was provided, no pots When it was really hot the orientation of the hotel was ok - not too much sun, and the windows could be opened for ventilation.

Having to call the proprietor an hour before your arrival time to negotiate the key handover (there’s nobody on site), was a bit annoying especially if your roaming plan is expensive and you have to call 3 times to get anyone. The apartment is pretty industrial looking and somewhat Spartan. It is curiously above a car-yard but that isn't too noisy fortunately. The bathrooms are small but functional, to call it an apartment is literary licence, it's a somewhat cramped room with a table squeezed between the beds. When we stayed there was no breakfast offered. Also we were there 5 days and the room was not serviced at all during that time, ie no towels etc.

The property is super clean, has plenty of plug points, water heater is functioning well, nice bed and the person in charge is very friendly.

My room was at the corner end (Room 1), the wifi signal was not good. I have to rely on my phone data to use the internet.

The accommodation itself is pefectly okay and it was very easy to get assistance by phone upon late booking and late arrival.

What spoiled the experience a lot was the cleaning lady who knocked very loudly at the door early on the morning of my check-out and shouted she had to do the cleaning. When I explained I would be leaving before the stated check-out time, she got unpleasant and insisted on me leaving as soon as possible. There was an argument, and I just find her behaviour in that unacceptable. Another ”big” thing was the constant smell of neighbours’ smoking in the staircase. The inside walls are kind of made of carboard, so you can hear every sound your neighbours make. The area was really quiet at the weekend, but early on Monday morning it was very noisy because of some kind of loading works just outside the building. I missed hooks for the towels, there are none at all.

The manager of the apartment was very nice and supportive! She helped me a lot with the directions and the check in. The room was very clean!!
