Amazing place to stay, made our weekend, snooker table was great fun, pool was fantastic.

The actual house was more comfy and homely than we thought from the pictures. The pool was great to use at the end of day. The place was clean, warm, and had everything except 1 thing, couldn't find a radio, so missed our radio 2 :-). The location was great, it was super quiet, no road noise no outside noise so sleep was easy. If available we will book this place for the same weekend next year.

Overall a good experience - it was ideal for our needs.

Very spacious ideal for families. Pool was clean and very well maintained - a real bonus to have use of this. Owners friendly and helpful.

Some of the pans (esp the frying pans) badly need replacing as really not fit to use. The towels were very thin and whilst clean were well used and should be replaced.

Spoilt for choice of activities, such a well equipped house.

Peter was very helpful and approachable. Excellent facilities for our teenage boys. We were travelling to silverstone and it was a short drive so ideal for what required.

If my wife was to be picky, a mirror in the bedroom would have been handy.

You need to book this place

Everything was amazing. It was very relaxing! Everything is already there for you except the food obviously. But every shop you can think of is there. Waitrose, sainsburys, tesco extra, poundland plenty of restaurants and coffee shops all within a 10 min drive. Everything was clean and tidy. If you needed anything at all the hosts were so helpful and welcoming. This is the second time I've been. My kids loved the pool.

The perfect spot for a relaxing getaway where all needs are catered for.

The cottage had everything needed for a comfortable stay with the added bonus of wonderful outdoor space and pool room. It really felt like the hosts had everything covered, like toiletries, towels, basic condiments and cleaning stuff.

Can’t fault it - would just like to stay for longer next time.

Great place,would book again!

Everything about it, liked that we were not bothered by the owners, but if needed they were there.

To get to the swimming pool we had to walk over the garden in the dark, a lamp was given but could have done with a path as our biggest let down was the swimming pool at the deep end was not clean all the dirt( grit ) probably from the garden was in the pool. Thought those is would have been cleaned?

Exceptional

Peter and Yanti were warm and welcoming, the perfect hosts. We stayed at the annex for 5 nights. The property was clean, comfortable and very peaceful. The host had provided more than enough towels and toiletries for the duration of our stay. We even had the pleasure of trying some Indonesian food, thanks to Yanti. The indoor heated pool was amazing. Peter was always on hand for any queries or local advise if needed. We loved our short break. Thank you Peter and Yanti👍

Perfect house and host.

The house was clean and tidy the host Peter came to say hello when we first arrived and pretty much left us alone even as 4 men descended on his house. He showed us round and informed us about things that were out of bounds etc. A genuine nice guy. The house is clean and tidy plenty of towels and amenities. Thanks again gutted we can’t come back next year as fully booked for the weekend we need better luck next time lol

Exceptional

I stayed here for 3 nights with my partner. The property was wonderful, as was our host, we felt very welcome. The facilities were incredibly clean and comfortable, and the location was fantastic, so quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay again.

Great little place!

The facilities are brilliant! Badminton & tennis courts & the swimming pool were a fun & welcome addition. Lovely & quiet location. Friendly & helpful host. We really enjoyed our break!

The place could’ve been a little cleaner but nothing major & for the money we were very pleased & would love to return soon.

The lack of cleanliness was fed back to the owner. No compensation / reduced stay offer was made.

It has a lovely setting. Unfortunately however, there was a great deal of cleaning required on arrival! Dirty areas - plates / cutlery and used sweet wrappers found in the breakfast / living room.

Highly recommended

Awesome facilities in a great location making for a lovely break away from the rat race for a few days.

The kitchen was missing some key things (no roasting tins, frying pans, etc) and the bathrooms could do with a little TLC.

Very peaceful and quiet with everything a short drive away.

Very friendly and helpful, left to ourselves but was very aware that help or advice was always available at any time.

Nothing not to like with the accommodation. It was excellent. You will need a vehicle to go anywhere as the roads around have no paths but taxis are convenient enough if you choose to leave the car.

Perfect for R&R, local, and fab swimming pool.

Had seen it on here a while and thought about staying but never had. Once covid-rules meant a lot of hotels either closed their swimming pools or restricted access to them, my first thought was to stay here. It was an early break away for my birthday, and I love floating and relaxing and swimming for an hour or two in swimming pools, so as we had access to it whenever we wanted it was perfect. Shower room by the pool with hair products, and easy loungers by the pool to relax on. It was also close to home, but still felt like we were worlds away from every day life so it was very relaxing. Loved having use of the tennis courts, equipment, and badminton stuff too. Had a fun hour or so on the court, though neither of us playing that well! Had a go at the snooker, though my friend enjoyed this more than me, I played on the piano instead while she tried to pot the balls. Very comfy cosy beds, 2 bedrooms, 2 shower rooms, and nice size lounge with dining table and chairs and sofa. Also had use of owners outdoor seating to relax in the sun. Easy to find, easy to park outside. Friendly welcome from owners and shown around everything. Good kitchen and some sauces and oils and drinks in cupboard, and a bottle of water left and tea and coffee to use. Hair and showering products in both showers, plenty of towels in the flat and others for the pool. Lovely big garden, and quiet area even though not far from the road.

Instructions for using the tv would have been good, as it appeared you couldnt watch live tv?? Not sure if we misunderstood that but friend could only get to watch tv on catch up. Wasnt too much of an issue as only wanted a few programmes though. Measuring jug, and plastic or ceramic bowl that would go in the microwave would have been handy for cooking (to be fair I'm sure they would have sourced if they could if we'd asked, but we didnt). Swimming pool was fab apart from the steps in, there were only 2 of them, which meant the lower one was still quite high. Both of us needed to push onto the end wall or have a push from the other to help us out of the pool! Other than that only downside was that we had only booked to stay for 3 nights, and wish we had had longer there!

The loveliest bungalow in Northamptonshire and great value for money!

The bungalow is absolutely beautiful and it's been really well maintained by the owners with a lovely, homely feel to it. The indoor swimming pool was our biggest highlight and we were lucky to have the pool all to ourselves, which was just fabulous! The amenities provided were great, too and I'd definitely recommend my friends and family to stay at this wonderful place!

There's nothing I found that I didn't like :)
