Location: Right in the heart of the old town / kasbar One of the staff spoke food English (though he wasn’t there all the time). They allowed us to leave bags. Unbelievably cheap.

The bed pillows and bedding smelled of stale sweat. There was no clean cover on a sort of duvet - it had stains. Unbelievably cheap - so you get what you pay for I suppose.

Everything was fantastic, the location in the medina was great, lots of places to see, excellent street food. Abdou the manager could not have been nicer, as a solo traveller he made me feel more than welcome, recommended lots of things to see, places to visit, restaurants cafes etc, even went as far as sending me everything on Watsapp.

Fijn personeel, ligging van het hotel aan de rand van de medina, de kamer is redelijk groot en comfortabel

Het is ietwat sober en er waren wat gebreken (zoals de gordijnen, half douchegordijn) die niet zozeer storend waren, maar het geheel minder lieten uitzien dan wat het zou kunnen zijn.

Personnel très accueillant et très bien situé à l’entrée de la Médina. Belle vue sur la place depuis le balcon privé.

Da presteza do gerente Abdou. Sempre solícito e sempre preocupado com nosso bem estar.

As instalações precisam de uma remodelação, principalmente os banheiros.

Séjour excellent, l'hotêl est situé dans la vieille ville donc on a accès à toutes les attractions principales de la ville (musées, souk, mosquées, plage). Le quartier est safe (parole de voyageuse solo!). Abdu a été très accueillant et serviable, il m'a recommandé pas mal d'adresses et m'a aussi accompagné au Cap Spartel qui se situe à une demi-heure de la ville en taxi. J'en garde un beau souvenir !

Situé près d'une place donc un peu de bruit la nuit mais sinon c'était top !

la struttura è in posizione centralissima della Medina, molto comoda per qualsiasi spostamento soprattutto avendo come riferimento souk barra. La camera ha soddisfatto tutte le nostre necessità, letti molto comodi! E soprattutto la cordialità e l'attenzione dei proprietari è stata eccezionale, Abdo e Nourdine si sono personalmente occupati di tutte le nostre esigenze come indicarci accompagnandoci di persona in specifici punti della città. Consiglio vivamente il soggiorno ad Hotel Marrakech!

We loved our stay at Hotel Marrakech! The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your experience in Tangier is exceptional -- and thanks to them, it was. Would absolutely go back, and would recommend.

The beds were firm

Abdul the Manager was really helpful. He give a lot of suggestions about touring the city. He helped us get a taxi to the bus ststion.

Friendliness of the owner and his brother, great value for money, optimal position for visiting the old city.

The bathroom drains smelled but I guess you can't do much about it. The facilities are minimal so there is no wait conditioning (but we knew it from the description).

It is a great place, the host is fantastic, very helpfully. Wrote us where are the best breakfast, dinner and the most important place to see "must have*. Beautiful view from terrace. See you again.

Receptionists Abdou and Noureddin were very friendly and helpful. They went beyond the call of duty to make our stay comfortable.

Very nice place in a great location and with wonderful hosts! The roof terrace is also very nice and beds comfortable.

A bit tricky to find but it's right in the middle of a vibrant and wonder Moroccan experience. Great staff with lots of helpful advice.

The staff was amazing! Abdou helped us with everything we needed what to see, where to eat, what to do ecc… Wonderful position in the center of the Medina with big rooms and a lovely view from the last floor terrace accessible to everyone (you can also eat take out). Good for any type of group, couples and families. Will certainly advise this hotel to friends and family.

Very good location, near the Grand Socco and marchants. Not far from the water and main attractions.

Wifi was slow. Not sure this is the property, as we experienced the same all atound Morocco.

Not given the room we had booked and paid for. Handles off ensuite door. The room could have been cleaner. Problems returning to room when entrance door locked.

Located at the entrance of the old city very close to Tangiers downtown, the port and the Qasbah, location is the only strong point of this hotel

Unfortunately that was the dirtiest room I have ever stayed in my life; I have travelled to many Arab countries and stayed at low cost residences, albeit all of them were decent and clean. In our room we found out that the bed sheets have not been changed; on the contrary they have been used - who knows by how many travellers before us - we have also found stiches of dry blood. Worse still, at midnight and all of a sudden the guy at the reception started repairing(!) some pieces of wood making terrible noise and woke us up. My most dissapointing experiece, I strongly discourage you from visiting this place, Amin

Nobody at the reception. No bedsheets. Filthy room.

The location

The first room was awful, smelt of sewers; Eventually after a lot of agression we got moved to a better room.

Centrally located, close to the Medina and most visiting sights in Tangier. If staying here you can easily get around by foot. The room was spacious and very silent.The host was very helpful and let me store my bags after checking in. He was very hospitable and helped me orient around.

The designs on the walls are quite uninspiring and cheesy. The rooms can also get cold at night.

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Good hot water. TV, sink.

My room had some suspect electrical issues. Bare light bulbs, a bit tatty. But comfortable and safe. At 25.00 a night you can’t beat it.
