This is a rare dog friendly holiday home on the Sunshine Coast with a private heated pool, set in a quiet and restful location. Just beyond the trees is the Mt Coolum section of beach, a quiet and white sandy beach for you to enjoy. *Accommodation Details* The Dunes features high ceilings and beautiful timber floors. A northern aspect and louvers throughout invites in the ocean sea breezes and warm sunlight. Surround yourself in luxury and nature at the same time. *Bedrooms and Bathrooms* Upstairs Master Bedroom 1 - King bed and ensuite with bath situated at the end of a wide suspended hallway, plus a private balcony overlooking the fauna reserve. Light and airy, sleep with the sound of the surf. Bedroom 2 - Queen bed Bedroom 3 - 2 King Single beds (default) or king bed on request (request must be made at time of booking) Please call Prestige staff direct for approval for particular bed-make requests, thank you. Bedroom 4 - 2 Single beds Main bathroom with bath and shower, plus powder room. Downstairs Bedroom 5 - Queen bed Media Room - Queen Foldout couch (please advise at time of booking if you want this made up) Shower in laundry and separate toilet. *Kitchen* The Dunes features a fully equipped kitchen with modern European appliances, including a 5-burner gas stove, coffee machine (will require ground beans) and wine fridge. This is the cooks' delight! *Entertainment and Living Areas* The generous open plan lounge and dining area is on the lower level. Timber bifold doors connect the inside living to the sheltered deck overlooking the native fauna reserve with outdoor dining and BBQ. There is also a media room with TV, DVD, and surround sound plus iPod connectivity and Netflix. *Additional Features* - Air-conditioning (except media room and downstairs bedroom) - Wireless internet - Media room with TV and DVD player, surround sound and iPod connectivity - Netflix - Double garage - Heated pool - Heat blanket on roof set at 29 degrees. Operates 8am-4pm in line with pool pump hours (please note that water temperatures may fluctuate during winter months and during windy weather) - Outdoor shower - BBQ - Firepit - BYO timber - Dog friendly on application (backyard is open to the dune nature reserve, but there is a secure courtyard) - A Maximum of 2 pets are allowed. *Location* The Dunes holiday home is located beachfront on the nature reserve of Mt Coolum, in the exclusive enclave of The Boardwalk. Daily exercise walking along the kilometers of surf beach is at your doorstep, as is shops, restaurants and the infamous Mt Coolum climb. Perfect for those who love nature, as there are many walking and biking tracks around the area. *Rates* Rates include all household linen and standard departure clean. Prices are for up to 12 guests only. Rates are a guide only and subject to change. Rates may vary over long weekends and public holidays.

Children loved the pool and short walk to beach. The house was very comfortable and great for three generations The only slight drawbacks were that the TV in kitchen/ dining area was very temperamental . Sometimes worked really well and at other times came up with message saying no signal review antennae which upset the cricket fans amongst us. However we were not often at home or wanting to turn Tv on so no real problem.The other issue was that the downstairs bedroom was not air conditioned and on hot nights needed to have fan on full . Thank you for a great holiday

The location was perfect, beautiful stroll to beach. Very comfortable stay, equipped with everything we needed, with plenty of space for large family gathering. Our family from overseas were very impressed with their stay at a coastal home.

We were unlucky to have the worst beach weather (wet & wild all week), but we really enjoyed being cooped up together in this house. Great location, lovely pool & deck area with bushy outlook and the sound of crashing waves to fall asleep. Plenty of space for lounging & playing games. And if the sun was shining ….

This location was perfect for our few days away. We easily drove to Coolum for a walk and lunch. There are some nice paths for walking and a quick walk to get to the beach. The house is utterly gorgeous and was very well stocked with everything we needed such as kitchen appliances & utensils.

This house is incredible! First of all it’s stunning and As soon as we entered we could just feel the weight of the world slip off our shoulders and let the holiday begin! It’s so quiet and peaceful, the backdrop of nature and the sounds of the waves makes you feel like your in your own little oasis. Will definitely return!

We had a great weekend and this property was well equipped to house our group of 8. The proximity to the beach was great , however the pool was an added bonus. We had one unforeseeable issue with air con, otherwise a perfect weekend in a great house! Highly recommend and we will be rebooking!

We loved this place! A beautiful house and pool, yes, but also very tranquil. I loved the outlook onto the paperbarks and hearing the ocean so close by. Going to the beach along the boardwalk through the conservation area and walking back with lovely views of Mt Coolum was a treat. Would love stay there again.

We stayed at "The Dunes" for 11 days and had a fantastic time. Location was great with the beach a short stroll. Cafes were nearby and the house was wonderful. Everything was spotless when we arrived and the check-in process with Vicki was seamless. A great stay....we will be back.

I stayed at Dunes with 10 girlfriends to celebrate my 40th birthday. The house was perfect, very spacious, great pool. Loved the master bedroom with its own balcony. Very short walk to the beach via a boardwalk, Mount Coolum in the background, just stunning. Only negative was the amount of mozzies.

Our third stay at the Dunes, won’t be our last. Great location, easy walk to dog friendly beach. The house is beautiful, nothing better than to have morning coffee looking out at the paper barks. It has everything you need, all the touches of home.

Open, spacious and well-appointed property with everything required for an extended family to enjoy our stay. Really liked the private outdoor area with bush aspect yet so close to the beach. Vicki was very friendly to deal with and ensured we settled in quickly. Overall, a fantastic experience. You will not be disappointed.

This property was delightful and did not disappoint. The open plan living, the spacious rooms and the outdoor entertaining area were fabulous. We were amazed at how well appointed the kitchen was with all of the appliances and cutlery that we needed. Th location was perfect and the setting so peaceful. We will be back next year for our annual girls get together.

The stay at the Dunes was amazing. The house is awesome and Vicky could not have been more helpful. I highly recommend this house. Everything you need is in the house. The beach is close, Coffee is close, Supermarket is near by. Surf Club is an easy walk.

Amazing property in an outstanding and very private location. Plenty of room for kids to have their own space and leave you with yours. A short stroll to the deserted and wide beach (less than a minute for us). There was nothing at all that did not exceed our expectations and one of the best properties in which we have stayed. My wife's preference was to not return home but to buy the property - so that must mean something. Highly recommend for a private family get away.
