Pros - Great view, nice clean pool with nearby shower and hose, great outdoor and indoor lighting, lots of fans in outdoor space, comfortable couches and large dining table off the pool, a/c in the bedrooms, well appointed kitchen, washing machine. Timely text responses from owners. Neutral/FYI - Villa is in reality the bottom floor of a larger home. The owners are living above you, their deck overlooks the pool. This can be beneficial if you need help. Cons - #1 Drive up to villa is very stressful, and I would highly recommend a 4x4 or AWD vehicle. The street is exceptionally steep, and narrow, and you need to take a sharp turn right off the street to immediately stop abruptly in front of the gate. This area in front of the gate is higher than the street and also it is smooth tiles and pitched downhill right to left. We arrived after rain and the car tires slipped/spunout on the wet tile as we left the street with the car sliding a little. Future times I accelerated up the hill and then coasted for the sharp right turn onto the tiles before breaking hard to stop before the gate. A bit crazy. #2 The wifi was exceptionally slow and frequently missing. My kids do not have cellular data and they were unhappy. In the end the owners gave us the wi-fi device (a small cellular hotspot) which at least allowed us to reboot it. But it was still very slow. This is not acceptable in a VRBO property, it should be broadband, inexcusable.

Everything went well; communication was excellent with Eric, the location is good, calm, and the view is magnificent! The only major flaw in the end remains the internet speed, impossible to download or stream anything, too bad, it would be perfect without it otherwise.

There were a few hiccups but they were addressed in a very timely manner which helped make our vacation enjoyable. The house accommodations were just fine for the nine of us and the pool was a very enjoyable touch for some relaxing one of our days. The only thing that was pretty frustrating was I paid almost just as much in fees as I did to rent the house. But all and all everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Thank you for everything.

Avec une magnifique vue sur la baie de Trinité, nous avons passé un moment magique. La piscine d'où on peut observer la mer était un délice. Les alentours sont sauvages et peu touristiques. Les propriétaires qui habitent à l'étage supérieur nous ont donné de nombreux conseils de visites ce qui a constitué un plus.

Vue magnifique sur la baie de Trinité. Piscine et espace extérieur magnifique. Attention on doit monter une côte escarpée, notre petit véhicule avait un peu de difficulté.

Nous avons pu profiter d'une vue magnifique, de la terrasse et la piscine malgré la pluie. Séjour agréable. Les propriétaires sont très sympa, soucieux de notre installation. L'accès est compliqué si la voiture n'est pas puissante.

Habitué à louer des logements proches de nos chantiers, nous avons reçu le pire accueil Problème de stationnement alors que l'hôte, informé que nous avions un camion et des voitures nous avait dit : pas de problème. L'hôtesse qui dès le lendemain matin de l'arrivée dit qu'elle n'en peut plus.. Accès très raide non précisé dans l'annonce. Accès à pied dangereux par temps de pluie car réalisé en carrelage lisse et en pente sévère. Une patinoire... Gaziniere plus aux normes depuis longtemps, pas de détecteur de fumées. Impression de déranger en permanence, Proprio juste au dessus à surveiller etc... Et qui a affiché un prix pour chacun des objets de la maison, une première ! 750 € pour 4 nuits avec un accueil pareil ce n'est pas possible. Si la présence de locataires vous dérange, ne louez pas ! Le joli jardin bien entretenu et la vue magnifique ne suffisent pas à faire oublier le reste.

Wir haben in der Erdgeschoss-Wohnung der Villa PUUNI mit 4 Personen einen sehr schönen, entspannten 15-tägigen Urlaub auf Martinique verbracht. Die sehr gepflegte Villa im kreolischen Stil liegt sehr ruhig als oberstes Haus auf einem Hügel am Beginn der Halbinsel Caravelle auf der Atlantikseite von Martinique. Der östliche Teil der Halbinsel Caravelle ist Naturschutzgebiet. Hier haben wir schöne Wanderwege und einsame, algenfreie Strände gefunden. Die Lage in der Mitte der Insel lädt zu Ausflügen sowohl in den Norden zum Mt. Pelee als auch in den Süden von Martinique zu den karibischen Stränden ein. Die Anfahrt zur Villa ist sehr steil. Unser Renault Clio Mietwagen hat es aber mit etwas Anlauf jeden Tag geschafft. Vom Wohnraum, der sich über große Rollos zur Bucht von La Trinite hin komplett öffnen lässt, hat man einen tollen Ausblick auf den Norden der Insel und kann die Sonnenuntergänge genießen. Der Garten mit Grillplatz ist sehr schön angelegt. Zwischen Palmen, Bananen und anderen tropischen Pflanzen sind Kolibris unterwegs. Eric und Agnes, die im Obergeschoss wohnen, sprechen nur wenig Englisch, wir sprechen nur wenig Französisch. Die Übergabe war trotzdem problemlos. Wir haben uns immer sehr ungestört und wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung verfügt über drei vollwertige Schlafzimmer, jedes mit separater Klimaanlage und Deckenventilatoren ausgestattet. Es gibt zwei Bäder mit Dusche und den großen Wohnraum mit Sofas und großem Esstisch. In der Küche fehlte es, außer einem scharfen Messer, an nichts. Spül- und Waschmaschine, Kühlschrank mit Froster, Microwelle, Toaster, Töpfe, Pfannen und ausreichend Geschirr waren vorhanden. Für die erste Versorgung nach der Ankunft haben Eric und Agnes Toastbrot, Butter, Marmelade, Milch, Kaffee, Saft und Marmelade bereitgestellt. Ein Carrefour und ein Leader Price Supermarkt sind mit dem Auto in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Busverbindungen gibt es auch. Wir können die Wohnung von Eric und Agnes nur weiter empfehlen.

We enjoyed our stay here for a week. Good place to explore the island from if you have a rental car, as you avoid the Fort de France traffic jams. Eric and Agness were considerate hosts and provided great suggestions about what to see and do in Martinique.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour. L'appartement situé au sous sol d'une maison est grand et propre .Le jardin est magnifique et comporte un arbre tropical (moringa) qui a de nombreuses vertus . L'emplacement est spectaculaire ... Juste un petit bémol: Abritel ne nous avait pas donné le numéro de téléphone complet du propriétaire et nous avons eu du mal a trouver la maison, et de plus Abritel n'avait pas réglé ce dernier en totalité, ce qui nous a fait passer pour des mauvais payeurs ...

Our gracious hosts dealt so kindly with our late arrival and our sparse use of the French language. Their property was well-kept and removed from other rental sites, but close to any beach or attraction we wanted. What an amazing view to wake up to. Thank you, Eric and Agnes!

Location idéalement située à l'entrée de la presqu'île de la Caravelle, tout en haut d'un morne. La vue sur la baie de la Trinité est fabuleuse. Eric et Agnès ont le sens de l'hospitalité et savent accueillir les nouveaux venus par un apéritif dinatoire des plus appréciables. Le logement offre tout le confort que l'on attend (climatisation des chambre ; wifi). Eric et Agnès se sont montrés toujours disponibles pour les bons plans visites et les questions matérielles. Nous recommandons vivement !

Nous avions choisi cette location pour sa situation et les photos prometteuses d'un panorama unique... et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Un enchantement, de déjeuner dans la très grande pièce à vivre face à la baie de La Trinité. L' accueil par nos hôtes y a été très sympathique; ils ont été également très réactifs durant notre séjour. La proximité de la forêt qui prolonge le jardin donne à l'environnement un caractère très apaisant. Belle situation pour la découverte de la presqu'ile de la Caravelle au milieu de laquelle nous avons particulièrement apprécié le village et la petite plage de Tartane.

Les propriétaires sont hyper accueillant et d'une gentillesse fabuleuse. L'appartement est très grand, très bien équipé, avec une vue fabuleuse qui vaut le détour ...Le jardin est magnifique. Et tout était d'une super propreté . Le propriétaire vous fera un t'punch excellent... Nous y reviendront début 2019.

Agnes and Eric were fantastic hosts, and their son Nicolas (who was also very kind and welcoming) was a great in helping us communicate, as his English is fantastic! Our French is minimal, just enough to get by, so his help was greatly appreciated. On the night of our arrival they had us upstairs to where they live for a traditional Martinique drink. It was very kind of them, and an evening well spent. It was lovely to get to know them. The house is well equipped, very spacious and comfortable. The location was perfectly central for our stay and the property had the most incredible view. I would 100% recommend staying here, we would surely stay again next time we visit Martinique.
