About this apartment rental
Fully renovated apartment with a modern design in the Centre of Funchal. 180° views over the heart of the city and Funchal harbor. The 5-minute walk from the Cathedral, the market (Mercado dos Lavradores), the cable car, beach and other tourist attractions. Next to the apartment you have all the necessary amenities: coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, supermarket, ATM and bus stop. Included in the price is a private underground parking place in the building opposite, sheets and bath towels, cable tv and Wi-fi. A baby cot is also at your disposal if necessary. For arrivals and departures from the airport, you have a bus stop about 5 minutes’ walk, or ask us to arrange a taxi with our trusted local partners. We are available to help or to answer any questions you may have by phone or email. We will do our best to make your stay perfect. Tourist information is available in the apartment.

I stayed here for three weeks in February 2024. The check-in process was easy; Susana was very flexible about the time and showed all the amenities. She was easy to communicate with throughout the stay and had great suggestions for sightseeing. I had dinner at a different restaurant every night, but the apartment is well supplied for cooking if that's preferred. There's a fruit stand and mini market across the street and a couple of supermarkets down the hill part way. ATMs are everywhere. The apartment is at the top of the building and has great views of the harbor and much of Funchal old town. I enjoyed every minute there and will definitely be coming back!

From arrival to departure it was amazing! The host helped us with every question we could think of. The accommodations were well equipped and in the perfect location. We highly recommend and will be back soon!

Modern and clean apartment with a beautiful view of Funchal and it’s harbor. Very walkable location close to restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

This apartment was PERFECT for us...parking, all the comforts we required, groceries and small restaurants right there, 15-min walk to the city center, and a host who was happy to help in any way she could.

Susana was a wonderful host with many great suggestions for restaurants, bakeries and activities. The accommodations were perfectly situated and convenient to everything in Funchal. The view from the top floor apartment was magnificent day and night. The off street parking was a huge bonus too. Our family enjoyed our time in Madiera and highly recommend this property!

We absolutely loved the location. The neighborhood was great. Super walkable to so much! It was nice to have a garage, though parking on the fifth level with a larger vehicle was a bit trying. Honestly, the unit could’ve been cleaner. And we weren’t impressed with not having coffee or basics like body wash and shampoo. But there is a little market just across the street so we were able to get what we needed easily.

Stunning views of the sea and hills. So many of Funchal’s delights within walking distance though be aware of the climbs.
Ideal for a couple, plenty of internal space.Kitchen and lounge of very high standard. Main bedroom lacks basic facilities, eg. mirror and dressing table.
Would strongly recommend this property.

We have rented many holiday homes across Europe over the past 30 years and this is definitely one of the best. The apartment is spacious, well laid out and full of light. The furnishings, bed linens, etc. all feel relatively new. It felt more like a home than a rental space. We were very comfortable there for our one month visit. We particularly enjoyed the balcony with its wonderful view across the town and harbour. The neighbourhood is quiet and it is a short walk to the market, supermarkets and major sights. We hope to return to Funchal one day and I think it would be hard to find a better place to stay than this apartment.

Susana was very welcoming and gave us some good advice on where to visit and what to try. The apartment itself was clean with plenty of room and storage space. The kitchen, dining area and living space were big enough to comfortably fit five of us. The balcony was our favourite feature of the apartment, with its view of the sea and Funchal bay. Underground car parking is also very handy if you’re using a hire car like we did. Would definitely recommend staying here, we will certainly be looking to return in the future!

Perfect location. It is a quiet neighborhood, with great access to restaurants and the Market. Most everything you will want to do in Funchal is in easy walking distance.
Stunning view. Seriously. Stunning. You might just want to sit on the balcony and never leave.
Beautiful, modern, and well-appointed apartment. Comfortable beds and furniture.
We have had many great experiences with home rentals, but this was, far and away, the best. I highly recommend staying here, and intend to take my own advice soon.

Couldn’t get a better location, close to all 3 old towns and not too far from tourist hotel area. Very close to a big supermarket, only a 2 min walk. Stayed in Funchal 3 times now and this appartment has by far the best views of the mountains and sea. Would definitely stay here again.
