Ich hatte eine herrliche Woche mit meiner Schwester. Trotz später Ankunft hat das Einchecken sehr gut geklappt. Die Wohnung entsprach voll und ganz der Ausschreibung und ist mit allem was man für einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt ausgestattet. Ich würde jederzeit wieder in dieser Unterkunft und dem urigen Santa Lucia meinen Urlaub verbringen. Herzlichen Dank für die schöne Zeit. Claudia

L'appartement se situe dans une résidence à taille humaine et la piscine est super ! Le mobilier et les équipements sont de qualité. L'appartement est vraiment agréable !

Eine große moderne sehr saubere Wohnung mit bestens ausgestatteter Küche (!!!) in ruhiger Umgebung, ideal für heiße Tage, da im Erdgeschoss und nach Norden ausgerichtete Terasse. Alles funktional und schlicht, gut funktionierendes WLAN. Sehr freundliche Ansprechpartner vor Ort. Es sollten mehr Handtücher zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Ansonsten perfekt für uns, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Nice apartment for exploring the Algarve. The beds and bedding were very comfortable, and liked the quality of the towels. Good little grocery stores, coffee places and restaurants very close by. We enjoyed walking to the beach on the sunny days, spending time in Tavira, and taking little day trips.

Gut gelegen, wir waren meist mit Fahrrädern oder zu Fuss unterwegs. Der Aussenpool in der Anlage war leider nicht in Betrieb und vor dem Haus waren Bauarbeiten im Gang - war aber nicht weiter schlimm, da wir meist den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren.

Nous avons vraiment adoré visiter la région, le logement été spacieux d’une hygiène irréprochable. Nous avons eu un super accueil ainsi que pleins de conseils pour les visites, les plages etc . Je recommande vivement.

Apartamento bem localizado, com boas áreas e local de lazer com piscina muito agradável e familiar. Muito boa receção e com bom apoio e simpatia do casal que representa o proprietário, sr. João e dona Ermelinda. Acessos fáceis , de barco até à praia, e local muito próximo de Tavira, cidade em franco desenvolvimento e muito agradável. Conclusão, férias muito agradáveis , podendo mesmo considerar, local ,apoio, apartamento, e acessos bastante bons para se passar umas férias em familia e com descanso.

Boa localização; local tranquilo,boas instalações e muito bem equipada. Muito profissionalismo com a ermelinda e simpatia. Mal entendido com as pessoas que fomos, só nos prepararam um quarto e tivemos que pagar o fazer das outras camas à parte o que não me parece correcto pois ao alugar uma casa com dois quartos deveriam estar prontos para isso.

This is a nice 2 bedroom property with 2 large bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen (fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, etc), and access to a communal pool (not sure of the exact measurements but probably around 10 x 5 metres). The flat is nicely decorated and feels spacious and light.

Leiligheten var grei, men presentasjonen passer ikke med virkeligheten. Det er bare en veranda ikke to som beskrevet. Leiligheten ligger i første og hadde lite sol i februar. Bildene i presentasjonen bør oppdateres. Stedlige representant kan bare portugisisk.

Beds were very comfortable with crisp white bedding, also quality towels. Nothing is forgotten here, beach towels are provided and items such as food storage boxes and shopping bags. There is a small indoor pool which I did use although a little chilly. There are numerous restaurants, cafes and bars in Santa Luzia and Tavira. The area is flat and good for walking and cycling with bikes available to hire locally. One advantage of Santa Luzia is that the beach can be reached with a short walk and/or tourist train, alternatively a ferry can be taken to many of the islands for around €1. The whole area of the Ria Formosa, a string of islands along the coast, is a haven for wildlife.

Generally a fabulous experience in this apartment clean ,spacious and well equipped.certainly value for money.Personally the only draw back was the private balcony was north facing and got very little sun.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine à Santa Luzia qui a garder son authenticité de village de pêcheur. les retours de bateaux de pêche chargés de leurs poulpes sont là pour le prouver.L' appartement est très confortable, très spacieux et très propre (Comme neuf). Il manque juste un peu d'insonorisation avec l'appartement du dessus. Très bonnes vacances à nos successeurs. Géry et Elisabeth

My sister and i stayed in late Oct, the weather was variable but we were so comfortable in this lovely big airy apartment that on a very rainy day we just stayed in read books and watched TV. Happily the other days were better and we got out and about in this fab area.

Apartamento muito bem localizado e muito bem equipado. Aconselhável para familias que queiram passar umas férias perto de praias fantásticas, perto do centro de Tavira, perto de bons restaurantes, mas ao mesmo tempo num local sossegado que convida ao descanso. Recomendo.

Reizendes Fischerdorf, Tavira in der Nachbarschaft auch gut zu Fuß zu erreichen (Gehsteig!), fantastische Strände, tolle Küche (auch Praia do Barril), Apartment bestens ausgestattet (nicht zuletzt in der Küche), Kommunikation unkompliziert (Mr. Joao). Ein bisschen gefehlt hat uns nur das sommerliche Wetter bei unserem Aufenthalt (letzte Maiwoche), aber wir wussten uns zu helfen. ;-)

Bonnes vacances passées dans cette location, où rien ne manque !! Epicerie sur place, et autres commerces tout près à Tavira, qui est aussi sympa. Ballades de Sagres à Villa Real de santo Antonio fortes agréables !

Our stay was part of a 6 week self planned road cycling holiday in Andalucia Spain and Eastern Algarve Portugal to escape from our harsh Canadian winter. Over a 20 year period my wife and I have been able to stay in over 130 Western European properties in 9 European countries to fuel our passion for Euro road cycling. Few North Americans would bring this depth of perspective with regards to accommodation to this review. Our Santa Luzia apartment would represent then top ten percent of any European property we have ever stayed in over the last 20 years. It is bright, new, modern, spacious and has a rich amenity level and wonderful ambience. It is rare in a European property that all of those qualities come together in one property. You might get one or two of these qualities but not all of them. Often heating and cooling are huge issues in Portuguese or Spanish properties. Modern effective inverter heaters-airconditioners feature in this gorgeous offering. Bedding is top quality and reflects a lot of thought and care....often an afterthought in Euro properties. The property is professionally presented and maintained..... not a "managed property" in a company portfolio of hundreds where the management agency does not care. Our host Jorge was astounding........ responsive, attentive, sensitive and superbly communicative....almost concierge standards with due consideration for privacy. The property is very strategically located out of the touristy hub-bub of Tavira and yet very close by so the delightful streets of Tavira Old Town can be explored on foot. Barril beach is minutes away on foot.... a superb opportunity to explore the extensive Ria Formosa Natural Park up close. Faro and the remarkable Palacio de Estoi are easy day trips from this property. As well the superb beaches and infrastructure of La Antilla in Huelva province Spain are a short 40 minute drive away eastward. No short cuts have been taken in the planning, branding, amenity level, standards, or hosting of this property. My wife and I spent almost seven weeks at this vacation rental in Santa Luzia. This is a clean, spacious, bright, very well equipped, warm and comfortable apartment, located approximately five minutes walk from the riverfront of the beautiful Village of Santa Luzia. There are many restaurants along the riverfront. There is a local grocery store just around the corner. The owners, and the property manager are very responsive to the guests’ needs. We had quick responses to our emails. Santa Luzia is a safe, and lovely location for a vacation in the Eastern Algarve, and this location is very convenient to the beaches, and the City of Tavira. We highly recommend this apartment for couples, and families.
