About this house rental
This 7 bedroom 6 bath house has been recently updated to include all new interior paint, exterior paint, new front porch outdoor seating, a new pull out sofa in the twin upstairs bedroom & upstairs master bedroom, a new couch & sofa in the first floor living space, all new mattresses as of May 2023, & new twin beds downstairs & upstairs. The pool tiles have all been leveled out & pool coping replaced. This house has spectacular views from all porches. This luxury beach house boasts 2 master suites with large master baths. Both which include big jacuzzi bath tubs and showers with multiple heads. Kevin Costner actually stayed here for two months when he was in town with his band, & most recently Johnno Wilson (Actor/Comedian)!! If one formal living room was not enough, this house has two. The main living area is very open with your choice of a sunroom or entertainment area. Spacious porches front and back on each floor. Elevator services the garage, 1st floor, & 2nd floor. When you enter the home from the front door you are welcomed by a living room with flat screed TV, & wet bar. The first of two master suites is located across the hall from living room with some ocean views. Also on this floor are 4 more bedrooms, one with a queen, one with two queens, one with a king, and one with two twins, there is also a laundry room and open sitting area located on this floor. On the second floor is the very large dining room, kitchen and great room. This kitchen is top notch, all stainless appliances, two dishwashers, gas cooktop, and double ovens. Down the hall from the kitchen is the second master suite, this room is very large, and has a separate sitting area with sleeper sofa. Across the hall from this bedroom there is another large room with 2 twins, each with trundle, and a sleeper sofa. The gas fireplace in the living room no longer is working & is for display purposes only. After a day of sun and sand, rinse off in the outdoor showers under the home & on the right side of the house and relax at the cabana by your very own private salt water pool with fountain! There is a commercial style ice maker located in the garage for guests to use. The many porches are where you can enjoy the most amazing views of all! Make this your home away from home for for years to come!

We had a lovely time staying at this home. Incredibly spacious and convenient location, especially for our needs with people in another house nearby. Would recommend.

I think if you are a meat freak, this is not the place for you. There are no pillow protectors on any of the bed pillows and they’re just not clean! Feels like the house is just in need of a deep clean and a refresh. As others stated, the furniture is just worn…no rugs in the living area to help with sound below if you have kids trying to sleep. You can see from the pictures it’s not all that updated but when you’re there, it’s just plain tired. Nothing beachy about the decor, rooms are dark with brown sheets. Two of the bathrooms has such hot water the kids couldn’t use.

Great property, location was awesome, easy access to the beach, restaurants, etc. House is nice and large, easily accommodating all our guests, definitely showing some age and usage, but otherwise it was great. It was noted in the instructions that there was no dishsoap, laundry/dish detergent, toilet paper, paper towel, etc. But it was strange that these things were not provided. One role of toiletpaper for each bathroom, rest we had to buy for our 4 day stay...at this price point, the basic necessities (or some) should be provided.

Recently stayed at this property with some family and friends. The location was great to walk to some restaurants and the beach, along with being close enough to downtown. There was plenty of room for everyone.

We stayed here for a joint bachelor and bachelorette party and the house was perfect! Plenty of beds for all of us, very large common spaces, gorgeous back patio/pool, and a quick walk to the beach. Heather was very communicative and even let us get in a little early because the house was ready!
The house honestly looks a lot better in person than in the pictures of the listing which was an ice surprise. The kitchen was well stocked and there is a 2nd full fridge on the garage level next to the pool. The house was lacking extra towels and blankets for the sleep sofas and trundle beds and there was no soap or other basic items so be prepared to do a big shopping once you get there.
Would definitely book this house again for a large group in IOP!

Overall the property was nice. It needed a little tlc but it got the job done. The furniture really needs some updating and there are stains and wear and tear on most of it. We chose this house because it had a pool and our group is not the clubbing type. We planned on staying in and relaxing by the pool every night but the filter did not work so the water became questionable to swim in. We were told someone would come look at it but that did not happen the entirety of our stay. The pillows were stained (One had a blood stain) so we all went out and bought pillows for the beds. Other than those few complaints, the house did its job and the location was great. Walking distance to the beach and not a far ride to night life. When we arrived we had some time to kill and were able to get in early which was a great help. Overall, the place definitely needs some upgrades and work and we wish the pool situation was different, but we enjoyed our stay.

Overall this stay was easy and awesome. The house is an awesome location for the beach, and the small town area with the restaurants and shop walking distance. It also is super easy for those flying in to Charleston as its only 20-25 minutes away. The house is very large and spacious with amble sleeping and the AC worked extremely well. The pool is awesome for those days and night you just want to relax at home. Heather is an awesome host, extremely responsive and even helped us out by bringing the trash cans in by 9am one morning! (strange rule). The house is at the point of needing some maintenance, there was some loose stones on the edge of the pool and a few pieces of furniture needs a refresh, mostly in the main seating room and most the patio furniture. Overall thought this was awesome and would absolutely stay again!

This property was absolutely amazing for our group of 8, including 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 9-11). We could have easily fit another family or two! We loved that each bedroom had great closets and most had a private bath. The pool was amazing and the walk to the beach was steps away! The host was extremely communicative with us! Highly recommended!

We have been to IOP for our family vacation for 27 years. This was my first time experience with VRBO. Our Ages this year ranged from 8 yrs to 81 yrs!! Time together is important to us. This house was very clean but very dingy, dark, and some upholstery very worn. I was very disappointed when I entered the home as I would not consider having these conditions in my home. The cushions on 2nd floor porch were filthy. We did not use them because of the condition.
I did not have a clear picture of the appearance of most of the negatives in the home. I will return to realty rentals going forward. Have not had these issues in past years. Thank you. M. Baker. Charlotte, NC.

The house was perfect for our family! Plenty of space for everyone, open floor plan and kitchen was key! Overall we would rent it again. If we had to be knit picky, HD on the TV would be nice and a little light maintenance around the pool / yard.

I booked this property for my buddy's bachelor trip and it did not disappoint! We had a great time and Heather was excellent and super helpful whenever I needed. I would recommend this place 100 times over, plenty of space, an excellent location, and just simply a great time.

This home was amazing. It is across the street from the beach and has the most beautiful view. I came for a bachelorette party of 20 people and the host was so communicative to help with my coordination of everyone’s arrivals and all questions I had regarding the home. The bedrooms are large, there is a dining room table that could seat all of us which quickly became a group favorite. I would also note there’s a cute little grocery store/shopping center with cafes about a 15 minute walk away and the IOP beach bars like the windjammer were about 10 minute walk away. IOP was an ideal location - so beautiful. The one thing I would note is that this house does not provide the following so just make sure you bring: pool towels, pillow cases for people after the first 18, blankets for trundles/pullouts, hand soap, any detergents/soap required and kitchen items like olive oil. I would make sure to set yourself up on Amazon/instacart before arriving. Overall this house made our trip, I would definitely return!

What a great spot right in the heart of IOP. Easy access to restaurants, and just steps to the beach. Our group had an amazing tone. House was perfect too. Large enough for a big group, spacious, and clean upon arrival. Heather was extremely quick to get back and made the whole process very easy. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

Such a great location for a girls weekend! So many bedrooms and the living area was absolutely massive. So perfect for all of us to hangout watch movies and enjoy meals all around the grand dining table.

We had a wonderful family reunion. This house has lots of space both for gathering and space to spread out. Loved the big modern kitchen and big table for playing games and hanging out. Having bathrooms connected to every bedroom was key. Loved having multiple porches too. The location is great, easy walk to the beach. We lucked out and were able to walk to the Isle of Palms street fair this weekend and found a spot to play billiards (The Windjammer). The owner was great, we got immediate booking confirmation, she was very responsive to questions and provided plenty of information. Highly recommend.

We had a great time staying at this property for my husbands birthday weekend. Highly recommend! Pay attention to the items that are included and not included in the house listing so that you know what else you will need to bring- ie extra paper towels, hand soap, cooking oil etc.

We had an amazing stay. 17 family members ranging in age from 4 months to 75 years. Shirt walk to the beach with ocean view from the second floor balcony. Beautiful home with state of the art kitchen, double ovens and double dishwashers as well as two refrigerators. The highlight as the giant open concept kitchen/dining/living room with plenty of room for large groups to gather, eat, talk and play games. Decor was tasteful. Some areas are a touch worn but overall presents very well. A tremendous family vacation spot!

I brought a group of 17 girls to this house for my sister’s bachelorette trip. The house was everything we needed and I had no trouble reaching the property manager if needed. It was a pretty perfect trip! I would highly recommend this place.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this house. There was plenty of space for our group - several families with both adults and kids - and it was very clean and comfortable. The pool was lovely and the beach is about a three minute walk - just across the street and down a couple of houses. The property manager is very responsive.

Isles of Palms July 2022
The house met our expectations and is as described in the listing. It is large and comfortable with a good layout and lots of "individual" space or places for small conversations and a large, pleasant great room where all 18 of us (ages 18 - 83) could eat and be together. It is well furnished, especially in the kitchen. However, the house should be thoroughly house-cleaned in the Off season. Some linens were old; bed covers should be washed or replaced; a few mattresses are old and lumpy. Beach access is fine; we enjoyed the pool although we had to call twice for maintenance when the pumps went out. The managing agent, Heather, was very accommodating and responsive. She brought us the elevator key when it wouldn't work at first; she went out and bought sheets and pillow cases for the two pull out sofas; she even purchased a new dishwasher because the 2nd one (advertised to have two) did not work the first four days. However, we had to call almost every day because of a maintenance issue that should have been known about and resolved before we arrived: not only the non-working dishwasher and pool issues, but the lower oven did not heat above 135 degrees, one shower had no cold water and another shower had only one of three shower heads working and low pressure in the one that did. Someone arrived early one morning to chop through walls, make dust and work on them but we did not want that going on during our family vacation and we sent him away. For the price we paid, we should not have had to deal with so many maintenance problems. Management and the Owner apparently wait for renters to complain instead of checking the house thoroughly before the summer season and addressing these issues. However, nothing was severe enough to ruin our week together and, overall, we liked this property a lot. Heather tried very hard to make our stay comfortable and pleasant and we all thank her. Susan

Time on the beach
Great location, we were able to accommodate all of our family in one location that was very close to the beach and close to shopping and all that Charleston has to offer. This is our second tental of this property. Kudos to Heather for being incredibly response to all of our questions!

Paradise Found
Our Bride’s Aunts, cousins and friends from high school, college and beyond had the best time reconnecting and celebrating the bride to be!
The home is well appointed so that all the seven bedrooms had on-suite’s with many having access to a big deck with beautiful views. Many living areas to sit and chat are scattered about the two floors and the top floor is breathtaking with windows on all sides of the front kitchen, dining and living areas.
We were able to park in the huge garage and not drive unless to get more food and drink supplies at the local grocery and liquor store.
Many meals were prepared in the well equipped kitchen and we ate at the big dining table.
We enjoyed having lunch within walking distance to the downtown and the beach access was right across the street.
The best part of the house is the private pool in the backyard with a tranquil fountain. Plenty for all to relax and enjoy.

For large groups that need space, easy access to the beach and are looking for a great overall experience, this is the house for you. It has it's problems as any house this size might, but Heather (your host) is amazing and is not only prompt in returning messages but helps get any problem fixed as quickly as possible. Be sure to read the details on what is available for use at the house as you will need to stock up beforehand. Fortunately you have a HT right around the corner and a Costco about 20 minutes away. Would stay here again in a heartbeat- thank you Heather!
