Our small family spent a nice week in this property which is located at the top of the hill above Dieppe Castle. The south facing garden was well maintained and a nice place to relax on a sunny afternoon.

Das Haus war recht gemütlich, aber die Treppe zum Schlafzimmer sehr steil. Die Toilette war so klein, dass ich,
1,50 cm , 60 kg Platzangst hatte. Die Angabe 500 m zum Meer mag ja stimmen, aber dann steht man an der Steilküste und kann runterschauen. Doch es war ein schöner Urlaub!

Belle escapade
L'accueil, par la fille de Madame Demonchy a présagé d'un bon séjour.
Nous avons apprécié cette petite maison de ville exposée plein sud, dans un quartier très calme, en hauteur de la ville, proche du château, d'un supebe panorama, à 10 minutes, à pied, du "vieux Dieppe" et de ses rues commerçantes. Ça grimpe mais c'est sympa. Merci de nous avoir suggèré le marché du samedi, son ampleur et son activité sont surprenantes.
Nous avons également apprécié : le confort de ce gîte, sa décoration (simple et de bon goût) son équipement poussé dans le détail, son petit jardin bordé de superbes rosiers.
Une bonne adresse.

Nice accommodation, calm location
The house is located in a calm neighbourhoud just a few hundred meters from the cliffs above the beach. The city center and beach can be rechead in 10 -15 minutes by foot. Suitable for dogs as the property is fully fenced. Nice cosy garden.

Kein Neubau, sondern ein charmantes älteres Haus, wie aus der Beschreibung und den Fotos hervor geht. Der Garten ist schön privat, die Küche gut ausgestattet.
Das Haus liegt in einem schönen Wohngebiet oberhalb des Schlosses, man ist also weit genug vom Strandtrubel weg, aber doch ruckzuck dort; zur Fußgängerzone gibt es einen schönen Weg (zehn, fünfzehn Minuten).
Die Besitzerin war gut erreichbar und hat uns hilfreiche Tipps fürs Sightseeing gegeben - vielen Dank und bis nächstes Jahr!

We had a wonderful relaxing holiday. We enjoyed being able to eat in the garden most of the time and make use of the BBQ. It was great being within walking distance of the beach and town, and the Carrfore City for supplies.
The rooms were well laid out and nicely decorated, with plenty of tableware. The kitchen was well equipped with fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
The shower was great, but the separate toilet was literally standing room only.
We all really liked Dieppe, it is a lovely town. The pool on the sea front was great too, we had to prize our daughter out of it at the end of the day.

Cozy house with a nice garden with sun most of the day.
A small house placed in a quiet neighbourhood 10 minuts walking from the city.
The toilet is small, but okay. It would be nice if it was possible to open the small window.
We had a nice holiday with a lot of sunny days and beautifull snusets by the sea. We spend a lot of time in the small garden with loungers, grill and other furniture.
We can recommend this small house and Dieppe is a nice town.

Haus nicht akzeptabel
Das Haus ist sehr alt und unkomfortabel. Matratzen, wie mit Stroh gefüllt. Schlafzimmer waren nur über eine alte enge Holztreppe im 1. Stock erreichbar. Nächtliche Toilettengänge gefährlich. Die Toilette so klein, dass man die Tür nicht mehr schliessen kann, wenn man Platz genommen hat. Toilette und Bad haben kein Fenster zum Öffnen und befinden sich direkt neben der Küche. Dusche eng und ungepflegt. Das gesamte Haus machte einen ungepflegten Eindruck. Es klebte überall. Wir haben es nur eine Nacht dort ausgehalten und sind abgereist. Das war ein kompletter Reinfall. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert.

Tout s'y trouve, nous sommes comme chez nous , assez d'espace, bonne literie, et le summum c'est de se retrouver le soir bien au chaud devant ce magnifique feu de bois, car Dieppe (très belle ville et qui a ravi nous adolescente pour les belles boutiques) allie le calme, le repos et, la forme physique!!!! Encore merci pour l'accueil .

la maison est charmante, fonctionnelle..par-contre escalier trés raide ( pas ideale avec jeunes enfants!) et pour descendre en ville a pieds pas de probléme, par-contre pour remonter avec des courses il faut une voiture!!
d'autre-part la maison est accolée à d'autres maisons on est un peu les uns sur les autres...

Nous sommes un couple avec 2 enfants (3 ans et 6 ans). Séjour sur la Toussaint. Temps très agréable. Maison idéale pour toute la famille, dans environnement calme, avec jardin mignon protégé, parfait pour les enfants! Magnifique vue panoramique de Dieppe à proximité, de même qu'un château majestueux à visiter. La région est magnifique, avec une grande variété d'activités pour tous. Sur Dieppe : promenades en bord de mer avec espaces-jeux-enfants bien aménagés, port de plaisance très agréable, centre aquatique pour adultes&enfants avec eau de mer chauffée (très relaxant!), musées, sans oublier le shopping très sympa (de longues rues piétonnes commerçantes en centre-ville et en plus un marché de grande qualité le samedi). La région est magnifique, les routes alternant villages inoubliables en front de mer et villages de campagne de toute beauté : visites de jardins classés, de ports de toute beauté, aux paysages avec falaises à perte de vue, délicieux restaurants à prix très abordables et toujours avec un très bon service.
Cette location permet à la fois de se reposer et de se ressourcer ! Cerise sur le gâteau : Mme DEMONCHY, la propriétaire, est très chaleureuse, à l'écoute, et toujours d'excellent conseil pour votre séjour. Nous recommanderons sans hésiter à nos proches et amis cette location, parfaitement conforme au descriptif, et qui nous a fait le plus grand bien ! MERCI !

accueil chaleureux des proprietaires et soucieuxdu bien être des locataires. maison tres bien équipée intérieurement et exterieurement, calme , abritée du vent. nous avons pu nous rendre tous les jours à pied, par le chateau, au port. avons beaucoup apprécié la vente de poissons au port par les femmes de pêcheurs mais avons regretté le manque d'animations le soir à dieppe.

Nous avons passé en ce mois de juillet 2011 un excellent séjour dans la petite maison aux volets bleus située non loin de la falaise et du château de Dieppe. Un accueil chaleureux, plein d'attentions et de bons conseils, le tout dans une grande discrétion, a fait que nous nous sommes sentis chez nous dans cette maison et heureux de visiter cette belle région en marchant sur le sentier des douaniers.

Nous avons tout particulièrement apprécié le barbecue pour des grillades de poissons! Gîte tres bien situé et extremement bien équipé. Accueil chaleureux de la part de la propriétaire. Ce gîte est idéalement situé avec accès au centre de Dieppe, plage et falaises , le tout à pied. Il est confortable,bien équipé et propre. La propriétaire fait tout ce qu'il faut pour que nous passions un agréable séjour. à conseiller. De plus le jardin clos est idéal pour des enfants.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux week end prolongé ! Nous sommes arrivés sous un soleil magnifique. Les propriétaires nous ont accueilli très chaleureusement avec beaucoup de gentillesse et le souci évident que notre séjour soit le plus agréable possible. Le gîte a parfaitement répondu à nos attentes. Idéalement situé sur les hauteurs de Dieppe (qui est une petite ville où il fait bon se promener), il est extrêment calme et dispose d'un équipement complet et neuf ! Très confortable, un véritable petit nid où il fait bon se reposer après de belles balades du côté d'Etretat ou de la Baie de Somme. Une literie neuve qui remet les organismes en état et prêts à de nouvelles aventures ! Le petit jardin sur le devant est clos (offrant ainsi une intimité appréciable) et propose avec transats, parasols et autre barbecue, tout l'arsenal du vacancier heureux ! Bref, et en trois mots : QUE DU BONHEUR !

Je conseil cette location à tous pour le calme,le confort,la proximité et une belle région à découvrir.De plus,dans cette maison,l'équipement est nickel;literie neuve et très ferme,machine à laver et lave vaisselle(c'est les vacances!)Pour cette été barbecue et salon de jardin.Situé dans une impasse,intimité respecté.Les chiens sont acceptés.De plus à proximité du chateau,ont peut acceder au centre et à la plage à pied avec une vue panoramique de Dieppe.Maison très agréable;nous avons reservé en aout.Très bonne prestation,et propriétaire très sympa avec de très bon conseil.(restauration,visite,balade touristique)A visiter,vous ne serez pas deçus!
