If you’re looking for a relaxing family vacation in Surfside Beach, SC., known as the "Family Beach", our beach house is the perfect choice. See the ocean from our balconies as well as the master bedroom suite. Enjoy your coffee while the sun rises over the ocean before you begin your day. The beach is just 200 steps away from the front gate! Our beach house is third row, and only a block and a half from the newly opened Surfside Beach Pier! No need to pay for parking since it is in walking distance to restaurants, bars, and a souvenir shop. Just a couple blocks away you can also, find a place to go parasailing and take a banana boat ride. This beautifully renovated house includes a beautiful private 12’x18’ in-ground pool for your pleasure. The water level is 3 feet in the shallow end and slopes to 5 feet in the deep end. Our pool is heated for your spring/fall swimming pleasure! Linens included! We have a garden with fresh herbs for you to utilize when dining in. Bring your beach towels and toothbrush and make epic memories with your family! (*Please note: The Surfside Beach Pier which was severely damaged by Hurricane Matthew has been removed and now a new pier is anticipated to be completed in the summer of 2023 (subject to change.). The drone photo shows the new pier and distance from our beach house. Our well appointed home includes a Newer Bose Bluetooth sound bar and a 55" HD Smart Television including Netflix with Blu Ray DVD in the living room, new 2023 Smart Television in the master bedroom and bedroom with two queen beds, and flat panel TVs with Blu Ray smart DVD players in the other three bedrooms. Our house includes a Playstation IV for your entertainment. In the entertainment center you will find, books, playing cards and other games. *Free high speed internet included. The bedroom/bathroom layout is as follows: On the first floor there are two bedrooms with a queen size bed in each. These two bedrooms share one full bathroom. On the second floor the back bedroom is has two queen beds with a full bathroom. The middle bedroom has two twin beds with full bathroom. The master bedroom suite has a king size bed with full bathroom with a walk in shower. All bathrooms include a hairdryer for your convenience. Thank you for your consideration. The property was amazing!! Very very well equipped and the best pool area we’ve ever had in 20+ years of staying in Myrtle Beach. Jennifer was wonderful through it all, and we also got to check in an hour early!!

Family of 6 enjoyed the beautiful home less than 200 steps from the beach (yes...my daughter counted). Well decorated and stocked with everything to make for a great week. The private pool was enjoyed by all as was the large deck on the main level for evening gatherings and chit chat. Walking distance to many restaurants and even a late night ice cream cone. And when you had enough of that the beds were very comfy to end the day.
I would definately recommend to anyone looking to visit Surfside Beach.

It was our second time staying here, and we are hoping to return again. Our family enjoys the very short walk to the beach and the pool is a special bonus. The house has everything we need and the communication is always great!

This house was in a fantastic neighborhood very quiet but close to the beach and restaurants. The pool was a great size for kids. We had nine in our party and had plenty of space. Our host was available if we needed anything. This is a great choice for a relaxing vacation.

Our trip was perfect and the golf cart ride to the beach was our favorite! The pool was perfect and so was the house. Very happy with our stay!

An absolutely fabulous home! Nicely appointed, well stocked, and clean! Ocean view, lovely pool, quick walk to the beach and restaurants. Jennifer is an amazing host. She is always available and responds quickly. We had a great family vacation-no worries, just fun. Thank you Jennifer for sharing this wonderful home! We highly recommend Family Tides!

Great property
Property was fantastic and just as advertised. Check-in and check-out couldn’t have been easier due to just needing the code for the door. Not having to keep up with a key was one less worry as well. Our group was two families of four and we had plenty of room to dine together or spread out when the kids wanted to separate. We cooked in most nights and the kitchen was well stocked with us having to buy nothing other than charcoal for the grill. We brought our own beach chairs and umbrellas but those weren’t needed due to the owner having a storage bin in the garage with plenty of chairs, beach toys, umbrellas, and even a bike that one of the kids took for a ride one evening. The owner was extremely responsive to the one minor issue we did have with the garbage disposal not only responding quickly but having someone out the next day to fix it.
Five stars for both the owner and the property. Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome
This is our 2nd year of renting this home for our family vacation. The house is very nice and well kept! The pool is nice size and well kept as well. The owner Jennifer is always available with any questions that may arise. We look forward to rent this house next year for our family vacation. Prior to last year, we have rented many homes in Surfside but we found this gem and look forward to many years of family vacation at this house.

Best vacation ever!
We just spent our Fourth of July week at Family Tides, and could not have hoped for a better stay. Our family group of nine thoroughly enjoyed our time in the house, at the beach and by the pool. The accommodations were excellent, and Jennie, our host, was particularly helpful. After the deluge on July 4th flooded the pool, she personally came over to help restore it to working condition, and we never missed a beat during the rest of the week. I would unhesitatingly recommend this property for its convenient location, quality of the premises and ease of use from booking to end-of-stay.

Great place for families!
This property is in a perfect location, super close to beach, the area was not crowded, but still a close drive to many places if you choose to adventure out as well. All of our adult children decided within the first day that they would like to return here for our future family vacations.

Beautiful
Our family have been renting different homes in Surfside the past 5 years and by far this house was our favorite. The home was spacious, clean, well equipped & nicely decorated! 1 block from beach, very easy walk! Neighborhood is very nice! Pool was nice size and heated but the water temperature was very refreshing. The owner was very nice to deal with during the booking process. She made herself available during our stay if we needed anything. She checked in by phone with us mid week to make sure we weren’t in need of anything and enjoying our stay. We will definitely be renting again for our family vacations in the future.

This was an amazing house to stay in. It had all the comforts of home. Great location, close to the beach and restaurants and fun activities. The weather wasn’t good but it was a great relaxing week. We highly recommend this house. The owners we amazing!

Beautiful House - Great for Families
The family especially enjoyed the attractive spacious interior of the house, it’s many balconies and especially the heated pool.
The proximity to the beach was also a plus. Communication with the owner was exceptional!

This home was everything listed and MORE! The owners/property manager were easy to get ahold of and so very kind and caring. The pool was so convenient to have although the beach was only a 5 min walk away. The bars and restaurants nearby were perfect! A great mix of night life (well covid night life) and delicious food! The home was so spacious and had everything we needed. There were 2 huge balconies where we spent most of our time. You can see the ocean waves from the rocking chairs ❤️ We are already planning our next trip and we will definitely be staying here again!

Perfect Vacation Rental
Had an amazing time, beach house was super comfortable, couldn’t ask for a better vacation. This was my 2nd time staying at this rental and the owners never disappoint, 100% recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Myrtle beach / Surfside area.

The house itself was very nice and everything worked pretty well the only setback was that the pool did not seem to be maintained properly. My nephew has a rental 1 mile away and he has been having trouble with pool maintenance people I’m thinking that the owners need to check behind their pool maintenance person we only saw him stop By one time and he just looked at the pool and then drove back off he didn’t test the chemicals or anything and I have a pool and when the pump was running there was hardly any power so I believe it needed to be back washed so if they can get the pool maintenance under control this would be an excellent excellent place to stay. The only other thing was there is no outside shower to rinse off before and after swimming.

Clean and comfortable
Great property and location in Surfside Beach! We enjoyed the pool and the beach. The house is well equipped and clean with plenty of room. We did rent a golf cart and had fun driving around the streets and to and from the beach (although the beach is super close). We cooked all of our meals due to COVID and found the kitchen met all of our needs. We would highly recommend!

Wonderful beach vacation!
We had a lovely stay at Family Tides this past week. The house is beautifully decorated and incredibly well appointed - it is honestly like staying at a friend's house instead of a rental property!! The space was perfect for our two families - updated rooms with TVs, comfy new mattresses, lots of room for everyone. The walk to the beach is short and easy, and the pool was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful week in Surfside Beach!
This property was spotless and beautiful! Even our clean freak grandmother (we love her though :) ) determined that the house was “impeccable”. The house is well-maintained and just a short walk to the beach. The AC worked super well on the first floor but it got pretty hot upstairs. Not a big deal though. Pool was cleaned twice while we were there and they did a great job. The owners were also wonderful to work with! 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a wonderful week in Surfside Beach!
