Sherry was a phenomenal host. Our family of five had everything we needed and then some. Spacious, clean, and plenty of supplies and utensils. We thoroughly enjoyed our five night stay and wished it had been longer!

This was our second time staying at Pointe West, but first time at this particular unit. The condo was perfectly clean and very well stocked. Plenty of room for our family of 4 adults and 3 kids between the ages of 5-9. Pointe West is a great community with the multiple pool options and a nice beach that's not too crowded. Highly recommended.

We had a great time staying at this property. We've stayed at Pointe West many times, and this property was top notch. There is some obvious pride of ownership with this property. We had all we needed and much more. There was plenty of space for my family of six.

Beautiful Condo with Great View
This condo was lovely, clean and well stocked. The view of the bay from the porch was beautiful and felt remote and quiet. The pools were beautiful, clean and fun and a short drive away. Sherry the owner was very helpful and responsive. We will be back!

The condo was true to pictures. Very clean and welcoming. I did think we were going to be on beach side and not bay side, but that could have been my user error and not reading the fine print. Unfortunately, it rained when we were there so we didn't get to used any of the pools.

AMAZING!!
Everything was beautiful and perfect. The condo was especially clean and stocked with everything we needed. The Point West Community was beautiful and well equipped with beautiful pools, great food at the restaurant and plenty of beach! We will be back!

This is a great unit. As previous reviewers have mentioned, the unit has wonderful views of the bay rather than ocean views. The patio also had a lovely breeze which makes it a bit chilly in cold weather but would be amazing in the summer! There is plenty of space to stretch out and could comfortably accommodate 6-8 people without feeling smooshed.

This is a great unit. As previous reviewers have mentioned, the unit has wonderful views of the bay rather than ocean views. The patio also had a lovely breeze which makes it a bit chilly in cold weather but would be amazing in the summer! Amazing condo across from the beach!
My family of five, plus my brothers family and my mom all stayed in this 3 bedroom condo and absolutely loved the location, the property was beautiful and had everything we needed. There is a public beach entrance right across the street. We are hoping to make this an annual destination. :)

Beautiful view and spacious condo!
We really enjoyed our stay. The condo had high end finishes and breathtaking sunsets over the bay. Plenty of room for us to spread out. Beach was great too. Owner was super great and gave clear instructions. Would definitely recommend!

Nice place for family getaway
The condo was nice and roomy for our family of 5. I didn't give 5 stars because of the mix-up on the end of the property manager. They somehow thought we had cancelled our reservation and the condo hadn't been cleaned. Cleaning crew was still in the condo when we arrived around 7pm, much past check-in time. There aren't spare linens, so we had to wait until all sheets were washed and dried before we could make the beds, which was after 10:30pm. I do agree with others who mentioned sparse furnishings. Much less than other places we've stayed. I also think there could be a "welcome book" of sorts that outlines the property, gives instructions on operating tv's, etc. Overall we had a great time.

Spring Break 2020 during COVID-19
It was a nice getaway even during the COVID-19. It was all wonderful, but the only issue I had was with the pools being closed, I agree with it, but we should be refunded the $12 per person that we paid for 9 people, we were only able to use the pool one day. Again I understand why it was closed, but no attempt has been made to do a refund, when we paid for the bands she did say that if the pools close a refund would be issued??

Pointe West is awesome. The condo was amazing. It was well maintained, extremely clean, peaceful, & had everything we needed plus more. We will definitely return soon.

Family Getaway
Our overall stay was enjoyable and there was nothing wrong with the condo, however I also think there is room for improvement. The condo is pretty basic compared to other properties we have stayed at for the money. There was very little cookware available (pots, pans, etc) and there could be more seating in the living area to accommodate larger families. Each bathroom came with 2-3 towels only and there were no beach towels available (something we did have at other properties). One thing I really missed was a greeting/information book. For example- the TV was hard to figure out so instructions would have been nice! I think the property is just missing those little touches that make you feel special. We ventured to another condo to eat dinner with the rest of our family and their property was decorated to the max, they received a welcome basket, and the kitchen was fully stocked (spices, margarita machine, paper products, etc) and they paid less than we did for the long weekend.
All of that said, our condo was nice and relatively clean and we enjoyed our stay. I would have preferred to be closer to the pools so that we didn't have to get in the car each time we wanted to drive to the beach club or sunset pool.
Angie was responsive and allowed us an earlier check in and later check out so no complaints there.
Again- nothing "wrong" with this condo, but for the money there is some room for improvement to make renters feel a tad more welcome.

My family had a wonderful time in Galveston. This condo was perfect for us. We have 5 children and we were able to relax some days and enjoy Galveston others. We had more then enough room to play games and enjoy each other.
