About this villa rental

This spacious townhouse villa is located just a short walk away from 12-miles of white, beautiful, sandy BEACHES. The exclusive Shipyard Plantation is a gated community that provides its own private beach access for owners and guest convenience. The plantation is surrounded by some of the best golf courses in the world, miles of paved biking paths with palm trees and oak trees covered in Spanish moss, professional tennis courts and gorgeous sunny beaches. Professionally decorated with new furniture and fresh paint, this villa is one you’ll just have to see to believe! Recently added more modern lighting throughout first floor and a new 65-inch TV in living room!! Our two bedroom, 2.5 bath townhouse offers all the comforts of home. We have a fully stocked kitchen for cooking. There is a small breakfast nook AND a nice dining area for plenty of seating. There are two large bedrooms with a King bed in EACH room. Both bedrooms have their own private baths, TV, and private balcony. One bedroom has a sitting area, and the other bedroom has a brand-new trundle bed with 2 additional twin-size beds for extra guests. A spacious living room connected to the dining area provides an open concept floor plan for our guests to relax. There is a brand-new queen-size pullout sofa bed for added sleeping area. There is also a large, oversized, back deck that comfortably seats 6. The covered deck also offers a beautiful view of the pool provided for Tennis Master guests only. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the outdoor views from all angles. Between the BEACHES. golf, WATER SPORTS, shopping, tennis and biking I think it is safe to say there is truly something for everyone's vacation enjoyment, which is why Hilton Head Island is so special and well worth the visit. Once you visit Hilton Head Island, you'll understand why so many people choose to vacation here year after year. One of the popular attractions in the Shipyard Plantation is the nationally renowned Van Der Meer Tennis Center where guests can take tennis lessons daily from tennis professionals and pros. Check out the Van Der Meer official tennis website for more details. You will be very impressed with the quality of their tennis courts and the wide variety of tennis lessons/clinics available for all ability levels. While tennis is certainly popular here on the island, most people would agree that GOLFING is one of the most popular leisure activities. HHI offers some of the most pristine public and private golf courses in the country that attract many visitors, including celebrities. Home to 26 championship GOLF courses, designed by golf architects like Robert Trent Jones Sr., Pete Dye, and Jack Nicklaus; it's no surprise that HHI has been voted as one of the Top-10 golf destinations in the world (according to Golf Digest). In fact, the island is a PGA TOUR event destination, as well as the host of the annual RBC Heritage Classic in the spring. Hilton Head Island has GOLF courses for ALL ability levels, including oceanfront courses, as well as traditional parkland courses. One beautiful golf course is so close, it is just across the street from our townhome. In addition to wonderful golf and tennis don't forget to check out the many different types of outdoor WATER SPORTS available in Hilton Head. There is a wide variety of things to choose from including kayaking with dolphins, jet skiing, sailing, and deep-sea fishing. There truly is something for everyone! Special Beach Note: Sea Turtle Patrol monitors Hilton Head Island beaches for SEA TURTLE nesting and hatching activity annually, May through October, to promote the existence of these endangered species and to spread awareness of their struggle through public education and outreach. With careful planning and patience, you may be blessed to witness a hatchling racing to the ocean water using a special red flashlight. Our kids were amazed when they witnessed this on the Hilton Head Island beach at night. SHOPPING divas don't despair! There is plenty of shopping to enjoy on the island also. One of the most popular shopping destinations on the island is the Coligny Shopping Plaza located close to the beach with many original stores and boutiques to choose from. If you are more of a bargain shopper, check out the Tanger Outlet Mall just a short drive to the 'main' land (about 20 minutes away from Shipyard). Amazing deals on brand name items and a great variety of stores to choose from makes this a nice shopping destination. Lastly, checkout Harbor Town by the light house for more unique shopping choices located near the lighthouse and in a boat marina setting. If FOOD is your passion, there are many wonderful places to choose from! Our favorite dining places include, but are not limited to, One Hot Mamas, Smoke House (excellent barbecue), Salty Dog Cafe (by the water), Skull Creek Boat House (with beautiful outdoor dining along the water) and Aunt Chilada's with authentic Mexican food. If you enjoy an outdoor beer garden check out the new addition called, The Bank, where you can make beer "withdrawals", eat yummy food and watch large outdoor screens for sports, etc. There are various food trucks and even ice cream for the young at heart visitors to enjoy. Last, but not least, don't forget that since we are on an island, there is plenty of fresh seafood options available. We recommend the Carolina Crab Company and The Wreck restaurant over by the Salty Dog shopping area. HHI is a NATURE LOVERS paradise full of interesting greenery and a multitude of wildlife (turtles, alligators, squirrels, deer, herons, crabs and many others). This may explain why one of the most popular past times on the island is bike riding. Guests come from all over the country to enjoy the MILES OF SCENIC BIKE PATHS that wind along lagoons, golf courses, and other popular outdoor locations such as Harbor Town. We highly recommend taking some time to go biking and explore all of the beauty that Hilton Head has to offer. Who knows, you may even get lucky and see some alligators basking in the sun along the bank of a lagoon. :) Throughout our stay we typically bike ride to restaurants and visit the beach daily. SPECIAL Note: Attentive owners make continuous updates including new king beds, new living room furniture, and fresh paint in January 2024. As a result, our townhouse villa has been booked full throughout the years since we purchased it in 2014 with many repeat renters.

Perfect location, home is great . Near pool, you can see from both decks. The walking paths were fantastic and just a quick skip to the beach!

We booked this unit because we intended to bring pets (which we ultimately did not). Since it was pet friendly, we thought it may be not as nice as other places we could’ve booked. Well that assumption was WRONG. The unit was larger than it appeared in the photos. It was clean and fresh, the beds were very comfortable, there was ample dining and seating areas, and the unit had everything we needed, including chairs and floats for the beach and pool. The bathrooms were a little dated but there were no issues with function. The location was also perfect for us - a short walk to the beach and just steps out the back to the pool. Communication with Adam was fantastic - just some minor issues that were taken care of immediately and he is such a gracious host!

Upon enter the condo the first thing I noticed was the dirt on the floors and carpet! It was clear that they hadn’t been cleaned! Before bringing in our things I basically cleaned the entire condo - I did not call property manager because I wanted to ensure that it was cleaned to my expectations - not a good first impression of the condo. We moved our things in and realized the ice maker was broken (so we had to buy ice for 2 weeks) and the only person who could open the sliding glass door was my husband - the track needed some work! The location of the condo is great - just need a better cleaning company. Also maybe use some of the rental income to update condo - could be beautiful with a lot of TLC. Will definitely not be back!

The property is not representative of the pictures posted. I did not get off to a good start. Gate passes where not ready when I arrived and the property was not cleaned from the previous residents upon arrival, waited until 6 pm on arrival day for the cleaning crew to show up. The property needs to be refreshed and painted. Just dirty in many areas. I would not stay again

We attend the PTR tennis conference held at the Sonesta Resort every year. The Tennis Master condo is walking distance to the resort. This unit was very clean, the kitchen is well stocked with basic cooking equipment and the view of the pool is relaxing. The new TV was great for relaxing and watching movies in the evenings. The condo overlooked the pool area with a bit of grass right behind the unit. If you plan to bring a pet, just be aware that pets are not permitted in the area surrounding the pool, so you will need to walk a few extra steps to find somewhere for your pet to go to the bathroom. The Shipyard walking paths are close by and convenient except for early morning bathroom trips for our senior pup. The property owner promptly responded to our query about the door entry code and a question about the HVAC system. We enjoyed our stay and would consider this location again because of it's proximity to the Sonesta, the beach and great restaurants!

My husband, dog and I had a wonderful vacation at Adam's villa. It was very clean, good kitchen equipment and utensils. Lots of TV's etc . It was also close to the beach less than a 15 minute walk. Adam was very responsive in terms of a few minor issues, which is very important.
