About this house rental
Situated in Wildernest, this lovely house for R 13,351 per night is a great choice for your next break. Located in the heart of Summit County, discover the beauty of Colorado's pristine mountains. With views of Lake Dillon and mountain peaks by day and the lights of night skiing at the Keystone Ski Resort by night, all from the home's expansive decks, you will find yourself immersed in comfort. This 5100 square foot home sports 7 bedrooms, three of which are masters, two more have queen beds and there are three bunkrooms with a total of ten beds to "rack and stack" the kids. One more queen sofa bed means you can sleep a total of 16 people IN BEDS! All bedrooms have cable TV and some have DVD players. With six bathrooms there is plenty of room for multiple families, family reunions, corporate retreats or large groups of friends looking for fun. Located a short walk from a couple of trailheads, you may want to go on a hike in the summer to enjoy a picnic or a cross country/ snow shoeing adventure in the winter. You'll be less than 15 minutes drive from three major ski resorts, two minutes to the extensive shopping at the Silverthorne Outlet Mall and local dining. We have a sledding hill for kids right outside our front door. We promise - you'll never get bored! This home boasts three large totally separate living spaces perfect for those large meetings or quality private time. Feel free to dine in and prepare your meal in the gourmet kitchen before retiring to the recreation room where you can enjoy pool, a game of poker or a full on foosball championship. The wet bar will provide your drinks whether playing indoors or out. The WII game console is in the third huge living area in the extra wing. Our eight person hot tub sits in a huge glass atrium giving you shelter from the wind and snow, but still manages to achieve the chilly feel of outdoor hot tubbing - the best of both worlds! Amenities are: Two master suites with king beds and private bathrooms, two bedrooms with queen beds and two bunk rooms with six bunk beds total. These four rooms on the lower level share two bathrooms. There is dining for 12 and a gorgeous family living area with three huge sofas, a large flat screen TV and full audio visual. Downstairs is a huge games room (with Big Screen TV, a tournament standard pool table, foosball and a wet bar). There's a laundry room, mud room, big hot tub, oversized two car garage - it just goes on and on!! In the second wing, you add another equally large living/dining area with huge couches, another 8 person dining area, another master bedroom suite, another four bed bunk room and two more bathrooms. The WII game console is in this area of the house. There is ample parking for 5 cars and space for everyone to unwind. Enjoy cable television in every room and an unsecured high speed wireless network. There is one wood burning stoves and three large LCD Flat screen televisions that double as computer monitors if you're having a corporate retreat and need projection and presentation capabilities. The main living areas also have exended cable channels with DVR capabilities. This warm and inviting home is the one that encourages you to hang your hat day and night. It's the perfect base for your ski or summer vacation! This huge house was so perfect for our large family. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The kitchen was stocked with anything you would need. To have 2 living room areas plus a big lower level rec room was amazing! The location was great. I highly recommend this house!

House is huge - even bigger than the description, if you can believe that. We had beds for everyone and we had a group of 19. The bunk rooms for kids were a massive convenience.
Location is great - you're not on top of other houses and if you're there in the winter, there's lots of room for kids to play in the snow, far from the road. Driveway is big enough to turn around any SUVs you might have, and the 2-car garage can fit all but the largest pickups and SUVs. Check-in and out were a breeze.
I can't think of any negatives. Scott was very helpful and quick to communicate in the days and weeks leading up to our trip, even though I kept pestering him with detailed questions from my group. One of the best we've ever rented!

This property offer spacious room for multiple families, with lots of areas to allow for smaller gatherings as well. The game room with Ping Ping and Billiards was a great way to wind down. Both of the large living rooms allow plenty of room to relax after a day on the slopes. The property is an easy drive to Keystone and Breckenridge. If you are renting ski equipment, there are plenty of options in Silverthorne which is about a 5-10 minute drive from the property. The check in with Scott was very easy, and he was available to answer any questions or request leading up to our arrival. Great property, great host.

The space was great for our family gathering. We had 10 kids (ages 1-11) and 9 adults, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The three different living spaces were nice. We could spread out when we wanted to, and could also all be comfortably together in one room. Location was great - lots to do nearby within a short drive, but the house itself was quiet, and had a lovely view.
We only had two complaints. The first was that there is no A/C. The first night we arrived the house was very hot, and the two upper rooms even more so. Throughout the rest of the stay we managed to strategically open windows and use fans to blow cooler air around in the morning and evening and it was a lot better, but if you are traveling here in the summer you should be aware of this. Our second complaint was the washing machine and dryer, which were difficult to operate. We didn't do much laundry during our 3-night stay, but for the few loads we did it was pretty much trial and error.
That said, we all had a great time and the space was otherwise perfect for our needs.

We are so thankful for our wonderful host, Scott, who was so easy to work with to make the changes to each postponement. We hiked, fished, enjoyed the mountain scenery. We ate all of our meals at the house. We had precious family time filled with laughter, joy and many memories made. Being all together under one roof made this possible.

The house was great, plenty of room
For our guests. Only callout is the heating system due to mechanical issues and heated with wood burning stove the first night. Manual for house should be updated with recent contact list. Otherwise, great place to stay!

Our stay at this house was fantastic. It was warm and inviting and there was enough space for our family to spread out. There was a game room too. A full kitchen with plenty of dishes, silverware, pots and bowls for salad. The best part according to my son as he sat in the hot tub, "This has the best view of any house we've stayed." The sunrises were spectacular and the deck was very comfortable to enjoy the view.

We had a few problems but they were taken care of right away. The view from the deck was beautiful. Quiet neighborhood with walking trails close by.
Bedcovers and pillows in bunk rooms need up-dated or washed. Need a can opener that works. It was very hot when we stayed and the two upper bedrooms were too hat to sleep in. Play room was wonderful!!!A few problems but we enjoyed our stay!

We booked the home for our elopement wedding in the Vail mountains and I could not have been happier!!! It was comfortable and private amongst the guests with the plenty rooms and beds the house has. Check in with the deadbolt was very tricky, so we used the garage for entry and kept the front door locked. The location was great and the drive anywhere was beautiful and full of scenery. My family and I really loved what the house had to offer. The game room was never empty!! The layout of the home is very confusing until you’re actually there. Scott was just an email away but we really had no issues with getting familiar with everything! After our small ceremony and dinner, we came back to the home to dance, cut our cake, and have our champagne toast! We absolutely loved our weekend stay here and will definitely be returning during the winter season!!

The house was amazing. Clean, had anything and everything you could want or need for a large group, extremely comfortable, awesome amenities, and the location was perfect. The house comfortably accommodated 15 adults without any issues. The hosts were friendly and super responsive, we even forgot to leave the garage door opener behind and Scott arranged for us to drop it off with him in Denver! Will definitely be coming back!

This was an amazing place, had a lot of activities to do, Like go jump in the hot tub after playing in the snow. This place was huge with two living rooms made it really convenient when our friends who wanted to relax while the other hung out. Even the placement was outstanding, like being close to ski resorts or being able to go out and check out stores and go eat. I rate this place a 5 out 5 would definitely recommend to future visitors.

We’ve been doing family ski trips to this area for 10+ years. This was one of the nicest homes we’ve rented. Perfect location if planning to ski multiple resorts. The home was clean, well stocked and the teens loved the game tables in the basement. Also a lot of room to spread out, if you have a large group. I would definitely rent this home again.

Property has a great location, tons of room, and great rooms for gathering. The deck is "Da Bomb" - makes for morning coffee and evening bourbon gatherings. Place is dated, not super clean, with lots of little things not working great - but for a big family get-a-way, with access to everything, awesome views, and space to gather, it was great. Also cool that you can see foxes and eagles from the deck.

The Cabin was so perfect for so many ppl of us. The city silverthorne almost has everything but beware if you going during the summer, because there is no AC. Ppl usually go for sking in the winter I guess. Keep in mind about the altitude which is almost 9000 ft. Some of us were troubles with altitude sickness especially kids. Other than that, the cabin was fantastic. The view from the deck of the cabin was amazing.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house suited our needs so well as everyone had a place to sleep and with multiple gathering rooms, we could have high energy games and quiet conversations going at the same time. The setting is beautiful with a great view.
