There are restrooms, a stage where musical performances, yoga, and arts & crafts festivals are often held, a covered/shaded children’s play area for when the little ones need a break from the sun, and plenty of benches and swings to just sit and relax and take in the sun and scenery from. In just a few short minutes walking distance, is the Kure Beach Pier, great restaurants, the Kure Beach Diner, the Beach House Burgers (Burger Shack) with the best hamburgers on the beach, Happy Hippie Java Hut, Joe’s Pub for when the adults get thirsty, gift shop, an arcade, ice cream shop, gas and convenience store with a beach mart inside, and pizza shop.
