Pros: It is a really nice, very clean home with lots of games in basement and nice hot tub out on deck. Great gathering place. Would stay again, nice location too. Has lots of room for a big group. The host was very nice and answered all emails immediately.
Cons: Heavier fuller curtains in rooms that face the street would be nice. Was concerned with exit door facing street, children can push it open from inside. We had 2 yr old and baby not sure it is conducive for those ages with woodburner and stairways but we managed.

We enjoyed our stay at the house on Main Street. Half of our group are architects and we did not waste a minute critiquing the property renovation which we all concluded was done tastefully and very functional. We loved the loft area and all the beds but did find it to get warmer as less cool air circulated up there. Had we visited in the winter it would not have been an issue.
We loved the house overall, loved the location and the kids enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit below! The views of Hunter mountain were great in the morning and evening. One item we felt lacked was the amount of towels. For a house that sleeps 14 people, there were not enough towels for showering and or using after the hot tub.
That being said we would definitely stay here again and bring some towels from home. We flew in from out of state and did not pack our own. Also, unlike a lot of houses we have stayed at, there were very little dry condiments/seasoning around so be sure to bring anything outside of salt and pepper.

The house was much bigger than expected. The house was funly decorated, we loved the game room, hot tub and fire pit. Everything we needed was there and it was very comfortable. The only item i’d mention considering looking into changing is the outside lighting. It is on a movement sensor which goes on and off a lot. We would try not to move while on the deck so we could enjoy the stars.

Our close group of friends and our dog stayed at this home 7/12-7/16. We enjoyed our stay and the house was very clean when we arrived. The location was very ideal. It was private with gorgeous views of the mountains and it was maybe a 5 min drive down the road to the closest grocery store.

A few little things that could be fixed in the game room, the listing was a little misleading stating a queen bed in the studio room with kitchenette (there is a large futon in the studio that folds to a futon bed, but not a regular bed), and we couldn’t get the tv to work In the main living room. If it weren’t for these few things, it would be a 5 star place. I will say the owners attentiveness made up for the little negative things. The stove broke and they had it fixed the very next day. They were willing to FaceTime with us to help fix the tv even when they were out of the country. Overall a great place to rent and the owners dedication to pleasing their renters go above and beyond.

Great Stay
We had a great stay- a lot of sleeping space, basement was a nice separate space as well as the front of the house. We were confused by the stove top needing to use specific pots and pans. Other than that, the hot tub was great, we needed it to be filled but they had a company come to do that ASAP. One thing I would recommend for the property manager would be to make sure they are stocked up on toilet paper/paper towels and trash bags (we had a group of 8 adults for 2 nights) so we went through what they had in the house. Also- double checking the hot tub level as well as pot holders prior to guests checking in. Other than that, location was amazing- super close to hunter mountain, right next to a rental shop and right on the main street. Would stay again!

We had a group of friends travel from all over the country to stay here for a bday celebration. The house, location, amenities were thoroughly enjoyed by all!
Would definitely recommend and we are already checking schedules to plan the next trip. We would love to stay there again & again...

A wonderful trip
Our group of 12 had a great time at this property, communication was very easy around checking in and we were very comfortable in the house. The kitchen was well-stocked and everything worked and we had plenty of space. My two dogs were very safe in the house despite the proximity to the road because the front door can only be opened from inside, and this also was not inconvenient because it was easy to access the back door. Thanks for a great weekend!

Nice and comfortable
House was comfortable, a lot of seating, bedrooms were adequately situated so everyone had their own space. TVs all over the place with cable in some, roku in others. Wall hangings and decor were quite eclectic and satisfying. Game room was a lot of fun. Central air was just perfect, not too cold. Hot tub at night and early morning was soothing. Owner or house manager were quick to respond to any requests we had. It was about 3 miles to the quaint town of Tannersville and less than a mile the other wayto Hunter Mountain. Beautiful views from the deck. Yes, we would come again.

Cosy, clean home for a getaway!
The place was clean, had everything you could ask for to feel home, and was overall a house we would book again. Very friendly owner, beautiful view and a well equipped kitchen.
The listed sleeping situation for 14 people is a bit optimistic in my opinion and I’m glad we were only a group of ten. (But I’m sure you can make it work though! :)

Great ski house at Hunter Mountain
Recently re-modeled house that is located very close to the mountain. The house was very nice, and has a nice 'ski house' feel to it, complete with a hot tub on the back porch. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place in the area.

Convenient location and loads of amenities!
Had a great weekend stay! Loved the hot tub and fire pit and only a half mile walk to the mountain! 2 of the coffee pots weren't working (there was a third that was) and had some trouble with the wifi at first, but those are minor nitpicks in an otherwise wonderful stay.

Poor Communication & Lacking Amenities
This house looked as though it would be a great place to stay. It looked new and modern. Boy were we disappointed when we arrived. We were provided a confirmation upon booking but there was never a follow up after that. We arrived to the property with no idea how to access the house. Luckily the neighbor next door was able to track a contact down after mulitple attempts. If it weren't for the help of the neighbor there would have been no way to contact the home owner. Upon entry we noticed a couple things:
- The front door reminded me of a door you would see at a car dealership with glass that you could see straight into the home when the lights were on at night making it unsafe and lacking privacy.
- There was one AC window unit for the entire house. It was nearly impossible to cool the entire house down.
- Water undrinkable due to intense chlorine taste.
- The hot tub was not filled up and there was no ability to use it because it lacked water.
- Poster paper was hanging at window of master bedroom instead of an actual window blind.
- Used dental floss was found from previous renter hanging over shower curtain.
- Portable ac was ducted to a hole in the floor partially sticking out due to old duct tape attaching it to the floor.
- Main tv in great room inoperable due to unreadable directions left in pencil.
- Futon cover torn and buttons off.
- Light switches (3) in kitchen not usable, not marked, along with one plug.
- No screen in window of 2nd downstairs bedroom.
Overall, this was an extremely misleading property with no clear property manager even around to help if anything arose. I would highly recommend not staying here or you could potentially be left outside with no access to a pretty awful stay.

Perfect.
We had such a great time! The house was spotless and organized. Such a short walk to the mountain, extremely convenient. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. Would definitely LOVE to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Being there in August allowed for a beautiful view of the mountains and the colorful flowers in the backyard. The house was functional and comfortable for our group of 12 people. We were a close walk to Hunter Mountain. The hot tub wasn't working when we arrived and the living room needed the light bulb replaced. The owner was responsive and had people come to fix both things. We would have liked a heads up when the people arrived, but it wasn't a big deal. We loved staying here and would definitely go back!
