About this cottage rental
Spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath updated 1960's style beach cottage. This home has the original beach vibe and is in the heart of Topsail Beach. Easy walk to the beach access, shops, restaurants, pub, fishing pier, mini-golf, roller skating, and sound access too. Bright , open rooms with lots of windows gives you room to spread out, and enjoy your vacation. Sleeps 4 with a King bed, Queen bed & a full size futon in the back den. NEW for 2024- linens included with your stay! Lots of decks, it has a charcoal grill, and a rooftop deck to enjoy the beautiful sound views & sunsets. Large fenced back yard for the pups to stretch their legs, gated front porch, and dog friendly beaches. (leash laws in effect in the summer season). Pet fee $150.00 for up to two dogs. Please add the pet fee if you are bringing your pup(s) for instant booking & let us know what type & number of dogs in your notes. Come enjoy Topsail Beach like we do- stay for a few nights or a couple weeks, and fall in love with our island, with beautiful beaches, sparkling sound for fishing, kayaking and boating, and a laid back, friendly environment to explore and enjoy. We love this property. This was our 3rd time renting it. Great walkability to dining, shopping and the beach. Very comfortable cottage.

We had so much fun during our week at the Myers Cottage! We love the location as it is a very short walking distance from The Breezeway Restaurant, The Assembly Building (where we had fun playing Bingo on Thursday night), and Four Cousins Ice Cream (where we had delicious ice cream each night :) It is a short walking distance to the public access, but it is also very easy to drive and park (for free) in parking spaces right by the public beach access. We loved sitting on the deck in the evenings to watch the sunset. The home had everything that we needed and it was a very comfortable stay. We don't have any dogs now, but we know that our dear dogs of the past would have enjoyed their stay, including the fenced-in yard. Communication was excellent!

The location of the cottage is perfect. It’s in short walking distance to everything. We were right in the middle of all the fun stuff. We loved the bay views and watching the sunset from the top deck. The kids loved that all the fun activities were in all sides of the cottage in walking distance. The beach was not crowded at all and it was such a short walk. We loved that the house is set up to accommodate dogs. We never had to worry about them getting loose. Such a nice neighborhood to walk them in. We would definitely stay again!!

This house is adorable and perfectly situated right in Topsail, within walking distance of everything. There are multiple great outdoor spaces, including a large fenced-in yard for your pup. Our only complaint was with the cleanliness of the property. We understood it was an older cottage when we booked it and didn't expect anything glamourous, nor did we want a super fancy property that we had to tip-toe around.... however, the house was very dusty and didn't appear to have been cleaned thoroughly after the last guests. There was dust on most surfaces (like the lampshades had a coat of fur and the bases were covered in a layer of dust), weird spots on the furniture, and most of the dishes had a filmy residue and fingerprints, so we rewashed everything before use. Overall, it was just a little grimy and not the most comfortable for relaxing, especially if you're stuck indoors with poor weather. Fortunately, we spent most of our time outside the cottage on the porch and decks and exploring the area. If this property was given a little TLC and thoroughly cleaned between guests, I would definitely stay here again.

Clean and cute beach house. Loved the multiple decks which gave options for being outside in the shade or sun and in or out of the wind. Easy walk to the local shops/restaurants, beach or sound. Would recommend to others and would stay here again!

Dusty musty and lumpy. House was okay but not that clean. Only comfortable place to sit or rest was a dirty recliner (sofa and beds are uncomfortable). The amount of work they expect the guest to do before checking out I have never experienced (and the fees if you do not do the work are ridiculous, and makes you wonder what the cleaning person actually does). Location is great, but not worth the price of this rental.

We were looking for a pet friendly property at the beach. There aren't many. I would describe the property as rustic
. Everything worked. Our dog loved the large fenced backyard. Nice covered front porch. Floors were wood and a mite uneven but not a problem. It was quiet and thats what we were looking for. Would stay there again in February.

My husband, myself and 2 small dogs had a wonderful time staying here! The fenced in back yard was perfect for the fur babies! Very short walk to the beach and the restaurants. We didn’t drive anywhere the days we were there, except to get groceries on the first day. It was a wonderful, peaceful, relaxing vacation that was much needed! Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need as far as dishwater and cooking items. Overall, it was wonderful!

My husband, my 2 Jack Russel Terriers, and I stayed here over the 2022 Easter holiday. This was our 3rd time here and it was great to see some updates and improvements on the bungalow! There's indoor/outdoor carpet on the front and back porches, which was soft on our feet, the back staircase was brand new with excellent night lighting, and the front elevation was painted with a gorgeous blue door! There was also some new and comfortable rockers added to the front porch. Love this place, great spots to walk, easy and quick access to the beach, fenced in yard is terrific, air is fresh, house is nicely stocked with necessities, and a short ride to Publix. Great cozy place and we can't wait to go back!

The little cottage was perfect and right in the community we love. we could walk to our favorite restaurant, bookstore, inlet or beach.

We made lots of great memories and look forward to going back!

This house is perfect for a small family or 2 couples. The location is ideal, close to the beach, restaurants, shops, etc. You almost don't need to get in your car from the time you arrive to the time you leave. The upper deck is great for dinner/drinks in the evening to watch the sun set.

But really, there was little traffic and it was not noisy. This was definitely the most pet friendly house we have ever rented. The town turned out to be really quaint all in all. There are several great restaurants and shops nearby and an old school roller skating rink! Regarding the house, the upper deck was awesome and when it rained we enjoyed playing Yahtzee in the back extension. My husband also enjoyed having his own 2nd shower! Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

We had a great stay. The property was clean and comfortable. The beach was within walking distance. There are good restaurants and gift shops within walking distance. We will definitely be back! Also, we were able to bring our dog.

We loved the location of the house! We were a little disappointed and off put by the amount of cockroaches we spotted in the house, we were killing between 3-5 a day. I messaged the host about it on Vrbo and never heard back and that was also disappointing. Additionally, a lot of the dishes in the kitchen cabinets were dirty and had little dead bugs in them. I felt like we cleaned more on the trip than we relaxed. I wouldn't stay here again.

Great getaway!
I got married during Covid, our whole honeymoon and plans turned upside down. I was able to secure this house within 24hours and they were so flexible with the dates. It was clean,close to beach, and everything I expected!

A great stay
We really enjoyed this property. It was clean and had plenty of space for us. Its location across from the sound is beautiful. I really enjoyed being able to walk to several restaurants and shops as well as the beach. A nice quiet little town.

Myers cottage
Cottage was as advertised. It was a nice place to stay and only a few minutes walk to the beach. Also a big plus for us is it’s dog friendly and has a fenced yard and a gate out front so your dog is not going to run away. I will plan on staying here again.

Great family beach spot
The property was a perfect location for our family. Quiet area for kids and family to relax. Close walk to everything. It is an easy walk to all the town's attractions. Unfortunately the COVID restrictions had some local attractions closed but the beach and town is still amazing. The property is very pet friendly and the owners are extremely nice people. You can tell they put in a lot of effort to maintain this property. Thank you for a wonderful vacation spot.
