My kids and I came to this dreamy cottage for vacation and it was wonderful! Comfortable and close to the beach and food. Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The upstairs was really nice. It was updated, clean and comfortable. The downstairs (which was separate) was small, cramped and not as warm as the upstairs. So, we didn't use it. The only complaint of the upstairs would be the beds. Any time you made a move, they were loud, so made it difficult for my husband and I as we were constantly getting awoken by each other's moves. Otherwise, the property was as advertised. It would've been nice to have a tv in at least one of the rooms, but not a huge deal. We loved the porch! Also, the area was super quiet and peaceful.

Great cottage. Load up the wagon, cross the street and you are at the beach! The home is lovely and very comfortable. Looking forward to our third stay next year.

We had a great stay here. Location is a short walk to the ocean. The outdoor shower was a big plus for us beach folks. Upper floor bedrooms were nice and large and living space is very comfortable. My hubby and I stayed in the lower level bedroom which is smaller but it didn’t need to be bigger as we only slept there. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is both a washer and dryer on site. Parking area is large and you can park in a covered area. We found the beach equipment to be very helpful - a tent, wagon and umbrella. We recommend Irene’s home to travelers to Wrightsville Beach area.

A bad first impression, because the broken porch rocker was the first thing we saw. I reported it, but it was not taken away or replaced. Loved the light airiness and cool comfortable decor. Clean, but I rated it just ok because of many roaches. Well-equipped kitchen. I would book again, but we need another bedroom and bathroom for our 6 adults

This was our first visit to the ocean as a family. Both of my kids will be going off to college in the fall, so we wanted to take some time to relax, explore and experience something new together before our lives take new paths. This was the perfect cottage! My son took the space downstairs, making it feel like his own living area, while my daughter had one room upstairs, and my spouse and I had the other. We were able to make memories cooking soft shell crab together for the first time, as well as other fresh seafood, with no incident or stress. The short one block walk to the ocean public access point allowed us to enjoy visiting the ocean every day, even several times a day. We watched the sunrise, walked between Johnnie Mercers Pier and Crystal Pier, and sought out beautiful shells all on the same day, at different times. The outdoor shower and on prem laundry facilities were a life saver. It was a home away from home, with all of the amenities, and the decor truly made it feel like an ocean side cottage. We would happily repeat this vacation, including renting this property.

House is a very short walk to the beach. Very well stocked with everything a family would need for a week at the beach! Irene was very prompt with communication regarding the house. Charming little hidden gem!

We had a great visit to Wrightsville. As a family of four, we loved the proximity to restaurants/ice cream. Our one recommendation would be the addition of a grill.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay at this cottage. The house and property was very clean and Irene was very responsive to my questions and needs. Also, the cottage is very quaint and is situated in a great location on Wrightsville Beach. I would recommend this property to anyone and plan on returning.

We had a very good time and very satisfied with the home. The beach chairs were good so we did not have to bring our own. The best was the wagon it made the trip back and forth so easy, we did't have to carry anything. My husband enjoyed in the out door shower. Parking was good being undercover it kept the cars a lot cooler. The only thing we wished you had was another TV and in the master bedroom some place to do hair and not use the bathroom. We had a wonderful time in your home. Thanks Pat

Felt right at home during our stay at the cottage. Loved that it was so close to the beach and restaurants. Very clean and Irene couldn’t have been nicer! Loved it!!

Our stay in Wrightsville Beach was wonderful. Great weather the beach was fantastic. The house was excellent as well. This was my second time staying here and i enjoyed it as much as the first. The A/C works perfectly. The Master bedroom is roomy i would suggest you bring your own pillows to sleep on as well. Both bed rooms met our needs and the kitchen has plenty of storage and all appliances worked well. The outside deck with the rocking chairs to me is the best part, having breakfast or a late nignt drink is recommended The bathroom although small has adequate storage and a fine working shower. There is also an outside shower in the garage which i used. The washer and dryer work great. There are plenty of chairs and a wagon to bring to the beach. The cottage has another bedroom downstairs separate from the main house. My oldest son stayed there. It may not be for everyone but queen bed, bathroom and privacy await you. I absolutely loved this cottage and plan on staying there again in the future.

The house was clean and comfortable. Location was very convenient to the beach and beach bars. Be aware that though it says in the amenities section of the house description that linens and towels are provided, they are not. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay.

We loved staying here! The cottage is within walking distance of Robert's, the local grocery store, i e cream, and the famous Trolley Stop. There were 6 of us (including two huge teenage boys) and we had plenty of space to hang out after long days at the beach. The kids kept saying how much they loved Wrightsville and this cottage. The beach is a very short 2-3 minute walk and the sound is just a few houses away. It is very safe for kids to walk back and forth as the only road to cross is Lumina Ave. Drivers are very considerate of pedestrians and always stop for them to cross. It is the perfect spot for families. Wrightsville is the perfect beach destination if you are looking for a true beach vacation without 1000's of people, huge resorts, traffic, etc. We loved the relaxing feel of the island. The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. We are already picking our week for next summer to stay here!!
