Beautiful two bedroom beachfront home across from famous Brenneckes Beach! Known for excellent boogie boarding, body surfing, surfing, and swimming! Just a short walk from your door and be on the sand! Breathtaking views from the hot tub on the lanai!! The property offers a beautiful and very spacious oceanfront yard with breathtaking views of the ocean and beach from every location. Our home is considered ocean front, as there are no homes built between our home and the ocean. You do need to walk across the lawn, pass through our gate, and walk across the beach road to reach Brennecke Beach and Poipu Beach Park. Beautifully decorated in elegant island style with a spacious oceanfront living area offering breathtaking views of the beach and ocean! The kitchen is a wonderful place to enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds of the ocean as you whip up an island style meal on the lovely granite counters. Fully equipped with everything including a full-size washer and dryer we have been attentive to provide you with all you may need to feel at home in paradise. The home features two bedrooms each with a private bath. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and the second bedroom features two twin beds. A queen sleeper sofa in the living room is available for kids allowing up to six comfortably. For your home entertainment needs the cottage has cable TV and wireless Internet. Indulge yourself in your private Jacuzzi on the spacious lanai (deck), BBQ as you watch the waves, or relax and enjoy the lawn and gardens. You'll also find plenty of fun near home with shopping centers, fine dining and live entertainment nearby. For larger groups, our family owns many of the homes surrounding this home! Rental includes use of the Poipu Beach Athletic Club for your group up to five guests. My family of four had an awesome time here! We saw spinner dolphins from the lanai and the boogie boarding at Brennecke’s was great. Kids loved playing on the large lawn. Beds and sofas were comfortable and everything was as pictured. We made use of the snorkeling gear and boogie boards provided and relaxed in the hot tub afterwards! Hope to be back someday!

Amazing beach house right a Brennecke’s beach. Spectacular location for an active family. We boogie boarded pretty much every day. It was fantastic to sit on the front deck and watch the action. Kitchen was fully equipped, could maybe use a few more drink glasses. Hot tub was awesome at the end of the day. The corn hole/ladder games were enjoyed on the lawn while watching the waves crash. Lots of beach equipment to use, but new beach chairs are needed desperately and an umbrella. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Bob!

So many great things place - pictures don't do it justice. This house sits right next to the resorts and, most importantly, right in front of Brennecke's beach. When inside of the house you have direct view of the ocean on the front side and then a front row seat to boogie boarders and surfers at Brennecke's. Brennecke is connected to Poipu beach and is a 5min walk through a grassy park. Food options and restaurants are all walkable.
The house itself was perfect for our family. 2 bathrooms with showers, W/D, dishwasher, AC in the bedrooms!, and well laid out kitchen and family room. Furnishings were mostly modern unlike many VRBOs which are stuck in the 90s.
Other surprises which are so important to make a stay comfortable - the kitchen was well stocked with dishware and utensils that didn't look like random hand-me-downs. They actually matched. The condiments, spices, oils and coffees available for us to use was helpful. New appliances! The patio and lanai are amazing. It was recently re-done with trex-like material. The front lanai has a long eat-in table and then there's a bar which all looks directly at the ocean 30ft away. We drank our coffee and had breakfast out here. Soaking in the hot tub during the day and evening on the side patio was just incredible. Again, head on view of the ocean.
Most of all, the owner (Bob) and property manager (Vicki) really care about the guests. If you're hesitant spending the money on this, as we were, just know that it is worth it!

This was our 2nd stay at Brennecke Beach Cottage. We are already planning our next stay here. You cannot beat the views! My
Husband and son love to body surf and they usually have the cove all to themselves for the first few hours every morning. I love to sit on the lanai and watch the waves and the turtles swim by. Poipu is a 5 minute walk away where you can see the turtles basking in the sand every morning and evening. The house is well stocked with everything you need. I make dinner almost every night and the kitchen has everything you might need. You will not be disappointed staying here.

The ocean view is spectacular! The listing is 100% accurate. The location is perfect for couples or families. Boogie board right next to the house. Snorkel is only a very short walk through the adjacent park. Surf shop a block away. We went to the athletic club two times during our stay and enjoyed that bonus for the house rental. The home was exceptionally clean and the beds were very comfortable. If this home is available for your dates, book it now!

This cottage is a lovely, comfortable, and perfectly located place, all rolled into one.! It has everything my husband and I needed, we could not have asked for more. The location, just yards away from Brenneckes and Poipu Beach, can't be beat. The owner, Bob White, was very responsive to our questions and needs, including when we accidently jammed the garbage disposal (he sent out a repair person right away). We definitely hope to return, we feel like we have found our "happy place" in Kauii.!

Location is everything when we go to Hawaii! We loved renting this home so very much. The views and proximity to walk to multiple beaches was exactly what we wanted.
The house is a small, cottage like home but cozy! Perfect. for 2 couples or small family. House could use some minor updates and a good deep clean would go a long way as upon checkin we did have to contact property manager to have the cleaner come back. They addressed our concerns immediately which was fabulous.
Would absolutely book again!

You can not beat the location of this house! The pictures are 100% accurate. We had a maintenance issue when we first got to the house, but they responded quickly and were diligent in finding and fixing the issue! Oscar was a rock star! Highly recommend!

Amazing location just steps from the ocean, a couple of restaurants within a 10 minute walk, lots of spinner dolphins, whales and turtles and oh, those sunsets. The porch was where we spent most of our time but the side deck and hot tub were well used as well. Nice big yard. Great people watching. House had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Probably the best VRBO we have stayed in and we stayed in a lot of them. So cool.

Our family had an excellent stay at this cottage. My husband and I wanted to bring our kids (6 and 8yo) on a family adventure to a warm spot without the concerns of international travel and this spot hit the mark. We enjoyed morning coffee while watching for whales and dolphins. Our late mornings involved strolling over to Brennecke’s beach or Poipu depending on the surf. Every day we were at Poipu we saw sea turtles resting and occasionally a monk seal came ashore and made us move our beach gear…a delightful occurrence for a couple of youngster naturalists. If we weren’t adventuring elsewhere on the island we would walk over to Brennecke’s beach broiler for happy hour apps or an early dinner. A couple mornings we walked to Kalapaki Joe’s for breakfast. The location could not have been better for days we wanted to have leisurely beach days and walks to grab a bite to eat.
The house was well equipped for cooking and grilling however I will say we only had breakfast and some luncheons at the house since we ate out or got take out for dinner most days. The outdoor space of the house made the house perfect. There was a patio deck looking onto the ocean and a side deck with a hot tub enjoyed by all of us (and I would guess was strategically placed to watch the sunset from one corner).
Bob was always very prompt to respond to questions or concerns I had.
All and all this was a great spot that offered the perfect layout for a beach faring family.

February vacation for a family of four. We had a great time at this house. Lots of honu (sea turtles) and monk seals on the nearby beaches. Surfing lessons in front of the Kiahuna, and tennis at the Poipu Kai Club were great activities. Easy to get to Koloa and other south-shore destinations. Well-equipped, comfortable, and the location looking out over the water just can’t be beat!

The cottage was cozy, clean and comfortable. Everything that we needed for the beach was included. The decks were great for enjoying the unobstructed view of the ocean. This property was exactly as advertised and the host went above and beyond to be helpful.

Perfect spot for lovers of Brennecke's Beach and Poipu (our favorite places on Kauai). Our only regret was that we didn't book a longer stay! Many thanks to Bob and his team.

We enjoyed a perfect week. Easy access to boogie boarding, snorkeling, and easy meals made a great trip for us and our teens. The cottage was outstanding: perfectly appointed, fantastic location. The deck was recently renovated and we spent a lot of time there enjoying the glorious sunsets.

Stunning views and comfortable setting just steps from the beach made for an absolutely incredible stay in Kauai. Our family loved sitting in the hot tub or hanging out on the porch and watching the ocean - even spotted some whales and dolphins. House was clean and thoughtfully appointed, with ample supplies to make us feel at home. It was a perfect spot to begin and end our adventures near and far. Also really enjoyed playing frisbee on the lawn, and visiting the athletic club pool and restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful spot for our vacation!

Others' reviews were spot on. Perfect little home with an awesome view of sea turtles, dolphins, and the beautiful ocean! We spent all our free time outdoors, either on the porch, yard chairs, or beach. The house is well appointed with AC in the two bedrooms and conveniently located near everything one could need. Nice two bedroom home with large yard. Great location for viewing the evening sunsets. Included with the property are the essential beach balls, umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, swim fins needed for the beach. Jacuzzi and BBQ on outside deck that faces the ocean. Litterally, 50 ft. from the beach.

We loved our time here, house was perfect and location was amazing. We loved sitting out on the grass in the lounge chairs early in the morning drinking our coffee and listening/watching the waves. Our night time routine was to walk the short distance to Poipu Beach, see the numerous turtles and the few seals and watch the sunset. The house had everything we wanted and was very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub on the deck and also really enjoyed the access to the Beach Club close by.

We loved this house! Fantastic views and you can’t beat the location. We walked to coffee, dinner, and the beach. The Athletic Club access was a great perk and a fun way to spend an afternoon for the kids.
The house had everything we needed and was very clean. Only the bedrooms were air conditioned but if we kept the doors and windows closed in the hottest part of the day it was okay in the living area. The only thing I would add to make this rental 102% would be roller shades or black out drapes for all the bedroom windows. It was tough to sleep once the sun came up.

Pros: The photos are accurate. The property managers are very responsive. The location is amazing. There are all the beach toys you could want.
Cons: Air conditioning is only in the bedrooms so it does get warm in the main area of the house even with the windows open. The hot tub was not working (not a problem for us). The interior is a bit dirty - things are dusty and the inside of the drawers are sticky.
Overall: The location is hard to beat, and the view is amazing. It was great to have such quick beach access, but not be at a crowded resort.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was awesome with two great beaches so close by. We could watch the waves and sunsets right from the lanai. In the house, everything was clean and we had everything we needed. Also, we appreciated the boogie boards, beach chairs, etc. that were provided. When we needed anything, both Bob and Vicki, the property manager, were very helpful. For example, when we contacted Vicki about the hot tub jets not working, she got back to us quickly. Bob worked hard to get us a dryer after the previous one broke. This is a great VRBO house, and we are glad to have been able to stay here. Thanks for a terrific experience!

We have stayed at Bob’s property several times and it is like our second home. It's clean and always stocked with everything we need. The view from the front porch is breathtaking and never gets old. Though our kids are older now, they continue to feel comfortable and love this cottage! Everything is close, the beach is steps away and great for swimming or boogie boarding. The property is walking distance to Brennecke’s for dinner, drinks, and magnificent views. Bob is always available and easy to work with. Mahalo Bob, and hope to see you soon! -Danny

We could see the sea turtles swimming at brennecke’s beach from baby beach. Beds were comfortable house was clean. The jacuzzi was a fun bonus. Our son loved it here running around the yard. Watching the waves from the living room or front porch. Can’t beat it! Just breath taking. Kitchen had everything you needed short drive to stores and restaurants. Would book again!

We had booked this property 2 years ago and had to cancel due to Covid travel restrictions. It was well worth the wait to be there this year. A lovely property very adequate for our family of 4 and well maintained and equipped. Minor problems with appliances did not impact our stay and the property manager, Vicki, was most responsive and accomodating.

The front porch and view are absolutely delightful. We watched whales and dolphins from our chairs as well as glorious sunsets. The house had everything we needed and the host is very reliable in answering questions. We had no mishaps and have no complaints. We hope to return.

I really can’t say enough positive things about this property. The home itself is exactly as pictured. Very comfortable beds, A/C in the bedrooms and fan in the living room which was more then adequate. Each bedroom has it’s own bathroom and ample closet space. Everything you need is included (beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear, mats, umbrellas) and there is a closet with a bunch of ‘extras’ people have left including books, games, suntan lotion, aloe gel, baby stuff, soft sided beach cooler. But the deck and location are what makes this one special. First day we had a pod of dolphins playing right in front of us as we sat on the deck then we saw multiple whales. Same day on our walk, we saw a seal on the beach, then went into the water on Brenneke’s beach and swam with turtles. Amazing. And then you have a front row seat every evening to watch the sun set over the water which lots of people come to the road in front to watch every night as it is so spectacular. Hands down one of the best VRBO properties we have stayed at. And Bob was very responsive and kind. Stop looking and just book it!

Perfect location with a comfy cozy vibe. Super well equipped place. Saw dolphins and monk seals from the porch nearly every day. Yard was great for our daughter. Park and playground nearby. Loved it!
