Situated in Lake Gaston, this attractive house for R 4,867 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Enjoy beautiful Lake Gaston with its miles of shoreline, clean water and plenty of fish to be caught. Boating, skiing, tubing, swimming or just relaxing, there is plenty to do. You will experience a unique vacation in our lovely 3,150 sf Geodesic Dome house with open floor plan and lots of entertaining space. Big skylights, 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, 3 living areas, dining room, kitchen with breakfast bar, patio dining off kitchen. The large great room has TV/stereo with surround sound, wet bar, reading area, air hockey, pool, ping pong game table and lots of room for indoor games. Front entrance is wheelchair accessible. Main floor has 2 bedrooms, 1 with queen bed, 1 with double bed, one bath. Upstairs has one bedroom with queen bed, loft area has 1 futon, one bath. Great room has queen sleep sofa, one rollaway bed, half bath. For your outside enjoyment there is a large wraparound deck with furniture, separate charcoal grill area, firepit, gazebo, swing set and two grassy areas for kids to play. The boat dock has a bottom deck area for relaxing, fishing and swimming in the deep cove. A swim ladder, small table and chairs on the dock. Upper level sun deck with conversation area, lounge chairs and great view of the lake. Jet ski lift is usable, tie up boat inside dock.. Located in a great upscale subdivision (southeast quad) with plenty of trees and walk area, great for nature hikes and bikes. This is a very quiet residential area not suitable for large loud parties. No pets. Private boat landing in subdivision to launch your boat if you bring one. Outdoor charcoal grill, firepit area and swing set on property.

We enjoyed the big room ... Plenty of room for all of us to enjoy talking and watching TV. The sun deck was also popular .. lots of room to setup a kiddie pool and lots of patio furniture. The lawn and deck have flowers and plants, it's obvious the owner is visiting the property frequently to take care of it.

Great location on a small cove in small subdivision on a penninsula . Covered boat dock with upper deck with views of main lake. Older but comfortable fun geodesic dome house with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Well stocked kitchen. Close to several hiking trails.

Check in/out was a breeze. Location is great. Far enough away from town but not a far drive to food stores and restaurants. Listing description was very accurate. If the owner said it was there, it was and in good supply. House was clean, plenty of room for us (5). The kids loved fishing and swimming off the dock and it’s in a cove so minimal wake and boat traffic. Very thoughtful welcome basket waiting in the kitchen and charcoal and fire wood were provided. Perfect amounts for our stay. Very much appreciated. We had a great stay and the kids definitely want to stay at “the pineapple house” again.

House is very nice. A little older than some but clean and well kept. Plenty of room. Very well stocked with everything you need. Location is perfect on the lake. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

I chose this house for this year's vacation mostly because it was a geodesic dome. The location on the water was excellent as even though it is technically in a cove the main lake was visible and just a short idle trip to the open water. The living space in this house is fantastic. One huge living room with a playroom off it. One smaller living room off the dining room and a loft area which the kids used a lot to watch TV when the weather forced us all indoors. Overall this is a really good value for the money.

Owner was very responsive, whenever we had questions or had trouble finding something at the lake house. LOVED the outdoor space, especially the fire pit area and the upper level of the dock. It was the perfect reading/relaxation spot. The house itself was very cool, with it’s acoustics. We enjoyed game time in the great room, and enjoyed the spaciousness of the house. The only issue was the cleanliness of some of the kitchen items. All in all, it was a wonderful stay at the dome house.

This is our second stay at what we call the dome house. Great home with 10 minute access by car to The Pointe and Food Lion as well as Littleton restaurants and shops. About the same to the pointe by boat.

This was a beautiful area with great outside views. The owner was a bit hard to get up with to answer our questions/ concerns. The house was large and had plenty of space. It is very unique in it's architecture. Although it needs some repairs and maintenance.

Our family loved our stay. The house is unbelievable and we all enjoyed the acoustics of the home. The dock was a great place to fish with the kids and the deck on top had great views in the evening. We all enjoyed it so much thank you!

We had a great time staying here this past weekend! The house was equipped with mostly everything that was listed minus a few minor things like charcoal for the grill and coffee filters (no big deal). We had 9 adults staying there and we all fit comfortably with more than enough room. There were lot of toys to keep my 2 year old entertained. I bought lots of things that we did not end up needing because the house was well stocked. Thank you for a great weekend, we will be back!

This is an older property and unique in its design. We had 5 grandchildren ages 5 and under and felt comfortable with them running around and having fun. The slide and swings were fun for each of them and a nice added extra. Everyone enjoyed the firepit and roasting marshmallows each evening. The house was equipped with things that many hosts dont have, such as Q Tips, makeup removal pads, Clothes detergent, etc. Upon arrivwelcome basket was waiting for us in the kitchen. The cove where the home is located is quiet and a nice spot for families to swim. There is an easy boat dock and we brought our kyaks which were easy to slip in the shallow side by a ladder.

Great place. One of the nicer, private neighborhoods we have stayed around the lake. Plenty of room to spread out. Location on the lake was perfect in a nice cove and dock for boat. Kids enjoyed catching fish and jumping from the dock. Nice end to summer for us.

Very smooth rental process. We really liked the property for the uniqueness. It had a nice location on the lake. The internet was not reliable and we lost it midweek. The house is dated but that added to the charm for us. A very nice house on the lake with plenty of room to spread out.

Spacious, comfortable and cozy! All amenities for family fun and entertainment in large dome. Dock offered large space for boat tie up and swimming at ease in the cove away from the main lake. However great access to mainlake with no issues. Plenty of parking and yard large enough to enjoy cooking outdoors. Two deer visited us one morning while enjoying coffee in the deck, that was exciting! Wonder stay!

Everyone was excited once they saw the exotic house. A great and enjoyable location on the lake!! I would rent it again. Hopefully the plumbing can be updated a little since its slow to refill the tanks for the times that you may need to flush more than once.
