Bermuda Blue is a beautiful beachfront home with amazing views from almost every room! This lovely 1562 sq ft home is a spacious open concept home with striking coastal chic décor. The large windows bring in natural light and make this home feel bright and airy. The wrap around deck gives you ample space to sunbathe or watch the waves roll onto shore. The beach is literally steps away for family fun. When you’ve had a full day of sand and surf, the downstairs outdoor shower is a great way to rinse off before heading inside. The kitchen is updated with granite counter-tops, a gorgeous back splash, dual ovens and an ice-maker. The over-sized dining table offers wonderful views of the Gulf of Mexico and is perfect for getting the whole family together for meal time. There is also a smaller round table off the living room great for playing cards and board games. Located in Bermuda Beach Subdivision, the house sits on a large corner lot with easy street access. This home is perfect for families looking to get away to the beach. Please note this home does not allow pets. Ground Level: Parking for 4 vehicles; No Garage Access; Outdoor Shower; Half Bath. Main Level: Open concept living room, dining and kitchen; Large TV in the living room with a Queen Sleeper Sofa. Master Bedroom suite has a King bed, TV, private bathroom and views of the beach. Bedroom 2 has a Queen bed. Shared Hallway bathroom; Bedroom 3 a Pyramid Bunk Bed (Twin on top, Full on bottom). Large uncovered wrap around deck. Location: 7.5 mile drive to 61st Street; 10.6 mile drive to 25th & Strand; 6.8 miles to Moody Gardens/Schlitterbahn Waterpark. Note: This home rents by the week only in the summer months, from Monday to Monday. Although provided, WiFi access/Cable/Dish service can be unreliable here on the West End of Galveston Island. My husband and I introduced our 3-year-old grandson to the ocean for the first time! The house is perfectly situated right on the beach so that we could come and go as we pleased. We also had it all to ourselves! The layout of the house worked out perfectly for us, as there was enough separation from the master that it afforded all a little privacy.
Things we particularly liked: the wraparound deck, reliable WiFi and TVs in every room (although we only used the main one), well-equipped kitchen, the ice machine!, comfy beds, the ingenious window shades, communication by the management, well-stocked game cabinet, outdoor shower.
Things we noticed that could have been better, but did not significantly impact our enjoyment: weak shower head in master; hot water ran out quickly. Had to time baths, showers, laundry and dishwashing accordingly; no closet in queen bedroom or bunk bedroom (but there are some deep shelves in 2nd bath for storage).
Overall we had such a lovely time that we plan to go back. It was exactly what we hoped for!

We enjoyed our stay a Bermuda Blue. The decor was lovely, the house has a great layout, and it had a fantastic view of the water. There were just a few issues - musty/moldy smell on lower floor, things that need updating (toilets/tub and shower) and some cleanliness concerns. Also hard to open the lock box.

The house was in a great location and very clean. The property company was responsive and made everything easy. The house was musty so if you are sensitive to smells beware. The master bedroom was extremely uncomfortable. The mattress was hard and left my back sore. It was so worn out you could visibly see the mattress sunken in on both sides from where people have slept. It’s also extremely bright during the night and there are no shades on the windows. Both factors made for sleepless nights. The house is aging but the main living area was very nice. However, because of how awful the master bedroom was I don’t know that I’d recommend a stay.

I stayed there in October of 2022. Both my friend and I liked the property. I think it is a but high per night for the area. The home was very nicely decorated and inviting. We had all we needed for cooking meals. I would consider renting again. A few small bugs were in the bathroom the second morning but they were dead so it seems they treat for pests. I felt the additional fees for cleaning were rather high. I know my friend and I left jt spotless. I am not sure I could justify renting w the extra fees and higher nightly rate unless I booked longer. The view from the master is amazing. I was comfortable in the bed and everything seemed clean. The host left some stuff for washing a load of clothes and dishes. This location is not far from attractions if you are interested in going somewhere besides the beach.

I will start by stating the pros: location!!! It was very easy to check in and the company that manages the property was always responsive. Now the CONS: we cut the vacation short from what originally was to be 7 nights, we ended up leaving after the second one. For those days we were there, I killed about 10 flies that I have no idea where they were coming from but always had a few flying around. I also found 2 cockroaches in the drawers where the silverwear was. There is a door in the middle of the house, that has stairs going down to a moldy with no AC room and it kept leaking water into the floor in the living room. The bed in the primary room besides being so hard, it makes noise as soon as you walk in the room. A loud metal noise! The sheets in beds are the cheapest sheets I have ever slept on. Bathrooms are disgusting. There are no shades that block the light at least a bit in the primary room. The day we left, while I was packing out clothes, I found the 3rd cockroach in the closet! Unacceptable that this property rents for the money it does too.
Is the bedding washed after each guest leaves? Meaning the covers.
This house gives an impression of being dirty with the fridge and other appliances being so old and rusty.
We are quite disappointed in the house really, paying so much for it for a week.
At this point, I would like for you to advice us what our options are please. We have stayed in 2 other houses here in Bermuda and they were nothing like this!

House leaves much to be desired. Kitchen and equipment substandard. Master shower doesn't drain, water never got hot, bathrooms are primitive. Cheap bedding, uncomfortable mattress in master. Had to make up bunkbed for children. BBQ grill was disgusting and rusted through. Carport has trash on it (old grill, nasty lawnchair, etc. that was the first thing we saw when we pulled up). House smells musty and we had two roaches. How this property is so highly rated is a mystery.

Bermuda Blue is a very comfortable house. We arrived at night and someone had stopped to turn on the lights, indoor and outdoor for us. We were very appreciative, my son summed it up if we were any closer to the beach we’d be in the gulf! The house number could be a little bit more prominent. The house is well equipped and Gary Greene leaves you with a starter soap, etc which was appreciated with our late arrival. The views are amazing, even on a cold rainy day. Other than the weather we enjoyed a nice get away!

The is an enclosed entry downstairs which really helps to prevent tracking in sand, etc. into the living space. We will definitely return.

Just be prepared to make up your own bunk bed with linens provided if you use them. We were told after bringing that to their attention that the beds were not made up that the property website told us. Sure it was there somewhere but never read it, Not handicap accessible. Guest not allowed to use the lift and no ramps. We should have checked that more thoroughly before renting. The place is beautiful. Oh, be prepared to bring TP, paper towels and all the daily needs for dishwasher, etc. not sure what the expenses above the “Rent per day” are for. Anyway GaryGreene rentals were great communicators. We will just be more studious on our next trip to Galveston

Unbeatable views, large comfortable & perfectly outfitted. Bedrooms & baths are comfortable & spacious. Kitchen is equipped with all the utensils needed for any length of stay. It is just 20 steps to the private beach & then miles of beach to walk on. It is located close enough to Seawall blvd. so you can get to it easily if you want, but also far enough away from it to be a quiet ocean front stay.

With small grandchildren in the mix, nothing beats being steps away from the sand! Bermuda Blue's deck is the perfect view, plus it's shouting distance when you need to call your family in for naps or meals. If you or your children are light sensitive at night, bring light canceling drapes for windows.

We loved the house and the location. Everything that we needed was there. The house could use a little cosmetic repairs but it doesn’t effect your stay. Will definitely rent again.

Lots of peeling paint on the ceilings and in the bathroom, and the outdoor lower space needs a refresh. I also would’ve appreciated that the kids beds were made up with sheets as it was a challenge to have to make our own beds after a long day of travel. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay again.

I would like to start by saying this place is absolutely fantastic. We feel it’s time they reinvest in the house. I know being on the ocean moisture is a problem. It appears moisture has taken its toll on this place. The ceiling in the main bedroom is ready to fall in. Most of the walls have cracks in the paint. Windows have lost their seal. The areas around the showers have severe water damage. The electrical panel on the outside of the home is so rusted that it almost doesn’t exist. Maintenance is for sure required. As for the amenities this place is absolutely 5 stars. You need bring nothing to cook with or eat on. Plenty of towels, linens, toilet paper and paper towels. The beds are firm but comfortable. The decor is exactly as it appears in the pictures and is beautiful. Oh by the way. The ice maker is the bomb. Loved it. The place has hurricane shutters but the one in the master bedroom facing the beach doesn’t work. Having a washer and dryer was a nice feature. No dirty laundry when we got home was nice. I would give this place 6 out of 5 stars if the maintenance was completed. Oh one last thing we weren’t aware of the small room located under the house that has a bathroom and all the beach equipment you could have ever hope for. We didn’t find it until the night before our stay ended. We would definitely stay here again. The beach is steps away and is wonderful.

Wonderful location
Great location and experience. Beach was really clean. The only problem which didn’t effect our stay was that the pain seemed to be peeling off of every ceiling. It seemed like maybe the house sustained some significant water damage and they attempted to just paint over it.

Great view, property needs some TLC
The view from the inside and the deck were outstanding! The decor is very nice. Both my wife and sister commented on it. The house itself is a little rough. The paint is peeling from the ceilings. It appears it had water damage at some point and they painted when it wasn’t completely dry. The whole house could use a refresh.
