The host is a very kind and nice old man. The location was fantastic, Toscany is a dream.
The apartment was a little bit dark, few natural lights. If you stay more than one day your tolilet and kitchen paper is not enough. Lack of cheese grater. The host speaks only Italian

The property was immaculately clean and the host was very attentive. The space was perfect for a girls weekend away. The pool was also clean and the property was a short drive from a few towns, including Cortona.
The wifi wasn’t great, but we didn’t spend a lot of time on our phones anyway.

Historic Tuscan house with a history dating back to the 18th century. Well-kept and manicured garden with a 200-year-old oak tree. Swimming pool with magnificent views of Tuscany. The owner Antonio takes care of every detail of the guests' stay every day. A charming man who refers to himself as the gardener, not the owner ;-). The furnishings of the flats including the finest touches. Everything efficient, clean and well maintained.

Very nice owner, take care you to spend nice time here :-)
Perfect location for short and long vacation.
The only comment is that owner speaks Italien only but with new technology there is no big problem.

This is quite a special place. It is a beautifully redone country villa. We had the entire top floor and one apartment below for our kids (7 people total). We cooked many meals here and ate on the terrace. We used the swimming pool many times and wandered the hillside past olive groves. We drove around nearby villages (the home from Under the Tuscan Sun is about 20 minutes away on another hilltop village). This place is not really in a village-you feel like there is not much nearby, although the town is only 1/2 mile away and a good grocery store is 5 minutes by car in the next village. The main point is that the house, inside and out, is so picturesque and so beautifully done in stone and wood, that you feel like you never want to leave. The owner, Antonio, lives in a smaller house across the parking area (plenty of parking--easy to maneuver) and you see him a couple of times a day waving to you. His assistant met us to check in and check out and was always available for questions. I should mention also that our stay was during a heat wave in July 2022. When we had an issue with the air conditioning in the lower apartment, he immediately called a repair man up and took care of it. He was very concerned that it be resolved right away.
While the house overall feels so wonderful, the kitchen is a little dated. It has high quality appliances but they are a little older, and the stock of equipment for cooking is not quite complete. I speak Italian and had a wonderful time talking with the owner, Antonio. If you only speak English, you won't be able to say much to Antonio. That said, I think you'd have a hard time finding a better place for a visit to the Tuscan hills.

Wonderful location in an old hunters' mansion. Plenty of outdoor space. Beautiful swimming pool with stunning views. Restaurant and nice village nearby.
Even though it's built with thick walls, the mansion gets hot in summer and may be uncomfortably warm during sleep. There is no airconditioning so be sure to ask for fans (which the owner will happily supply).
